 SUMMARY
 

AEW is currently seeking a Community Engagement Coordinator to join our Community Team. You will be responsible for helping AEW create lasting memories for AEW's fans, talent and team members through the organization of AEW Together events and management of AEW Together administration. The role requires timely communication to keep up with AEW Together’s schedule, ability to collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders, and strict attention to detail, especially as it relates to public messaging. This position will report to the Director of Community Engagement.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
 

• Identify nonprofit partner leads to coordinate local activations under AEW Together’s four pillars: next generation (youth), equity (human rights & social change), wellness (physical & mental health), & service (serving the community) 

• Coordinate inter-departmental communication between travel, security, talent, PR, digital, merchandising and production regarding activations and on-site volunteer visits  

• Assist in the coordination of logistics of back-of-house activations (e.g., if a fan is invited backstage, arrange for meet-and-greets, merchandise, etc., as appropriate) 

• Coordinate distribution of merchandise as it relates to community activations 

• Identify and assist in asking talent to participate in community activations; ensure various members of the roster have opportunities to participate 

• Maintain database for AEW Together’s activations & inventory 

• Coordinate with social, digital, production, and PR team to highlight all community impact activations 

• Write copy & post natively to AEW Together’s Twitter & Instagram while monitoring platforms during work hours for shareable content 

• Attend bi-monthly all-team AEW Together meetings  

• Assist in the production and coordination of activations or fundraisers for each AEW pay-per-view 

• Provide weekly updates to Community Engagement Director & continuously update activation through AEW Together's project management platform (Mondays.com) 
   

JOB REQUIREMENTS
 

• Detail-oriented individual who is experienced in managing more than one concurrent project and can prioritize projects to meet deadlines.

• Strong ability to adapt to changes and work effectively under pressure while producing accurate results in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to work non-traditional hours, including nights and weekends as needed. 

• Ability to travel as requested

• Proficiency in project management software

• Strong interpersonal, collaborative and communication skills.

• Capable of working independently.

• Willingness to speak to vendors, non-profit leaders and team members with professionalism and empathy.

• Experience working in event operations and organization.

• Relationships with entities working in the non-profit sector.
