Founded by CEO, GM and Head of Creative Tony Khan, AEW is a new professional wrestling league headlined by Kenny Omega, The Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson), Chris Jericho, Sting, Hangman Page, MJF, Miro, Darby Allin, Hikaru Shida, Dr. Britt Baker and Jon Moxley.  For the first time in many years, AEW is offering an alternative to mainstream wrestling, with a roster of world-class talent that is injecting new spirit, freshness and energy into the industry.

 SUMMARY
 

AEW is currently seeking a Social Media Coordinator to join our Digital/Social Team. The role combines keen attention to detail, sound judgement, a desire to create compelling content, offer fresh ideas and creative solutions to any problems that arise. The ideal candidate must be reliable, exhibit a commitment to excellence, comfortable taking initiative, and have a high degree of integrity and passion for the role.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and curate engaging content for our social media platforms

  • Assist in the creation and editing of written, video, and photo content

  • Demonstrate creative, innovative approaches and solutions to assignments, projects and tasks

  • Maintain unified brand voice across all our digital and social platforms

  • Monitor social media industry trends

  • Interact with users and respond to social media messages, inquiries, and comments

  • Review analytics and create reports on key metrics

 

Job Requirements

  • Proficiency with major social media platforms (Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, SnapChat, and YouTube) and social media scheduling and management tools (Twitter Media Studio, Tweetdeck, Facebook Meta, Buffer, etc.)

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)

  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Premier Pro, Media Encoder, Lightroom)

  • Passion for digital and social media culture and trends with a solid understanding of visual communication marketing practices and strategy

  • Experience with digital and social media marketing and content development

  • Strong video, photo editing, copywriting and copy-editing skills

  • Strong oral and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent attention to detail, time management skills with the ability to multitask

  • Detail-oriented approach with the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines

  • Understanding of digital media formats and aspect ratios, along with historical, current, and future trends in the digital and social media space

  • Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays

  • Ability to travel as needed
