Jon Moxley defeated Kazuchika Okada in the finals of the 2025 AEW Continental Classic Tournament to become the AEW Continental Champion at AEW Worlds End, from the NOW Arena in Chicago, Illinois.

Kazuchika Okada became the AEW Continental Champion by defeating Eddie Kingston on the March 20th, 2024 episode of AEW Dynamite from the Coca-Cola Coliseum in Toronto, Ontario.

AEW’s inaugural Continental Champion was crowned at AEW Worlds End from the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Long Island, New York when Eddie Kingston beat Jon Moxley in the finals of the Continental Classic Tournament.
