SUMMARY
 

AEW is currently seeking a Social Media Content Editor to join our Digital/Social Team. The role combines keen attention to detail, sound judgment, a desire to create compelling content, offer fresh ideas and creative solutions. The ideal candidate must be reliable, exhibit a commitment to excellence, be able and willing to work non-traditional hours throughout the week with a flexible schedule, be comfortable taking initiative, and have a high degree of integrity and passion for the role.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
 

  • Edit video and create graphic content for our digital and social media platforms

  • Demonstrate visual storytelling skills with creative, innovative approaches and solutions to assignments, projects and tasks

  • Maintain unified brand voice across all our digital and social platforms

  • Monitor social media industry trends

  • Review analytics and create reports on key metrics
     

JOB REQUIREMENTS
 

  • Minimum of three years of professional experience in broadcast or digital marketing, digital journalism, agency and/or other relevant experience

  • Expert proficiency with Adobe Premier Pro, Photoshop and other Creative Suite applications

  • Understanding of, and experience with digital media formats and broadcast aspect ratios and sizes

  • Proficiency with major social media platforms (X, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, SnapChat, and YouTube) and social media scheduling and management tools (Twitter Media Studio, Tweetdeck, Facebook Meta, Buffer, etc.)

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)

  • Competency in graphic design, with an eye for composition, color and typography

  • Ability to work non-traditional hours, flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays

  • Ability to travel as needed

  • Exceptional copywriting and copy-editing skills, as well as communication skills

  • Excellent attention to detail, time management skills with the ability to multitask

  • Detail-oriented approach with the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines

  • Understanding of historical, current, and future trends in the digital and social media space
