AEW All Out Preview: Match Card, Start Time, How to Watch, More
AEW All Out is live today from NOW Arena in Chicago, Illinois, at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT on HBO Max PPV! Chicago has been one of the most important cities in the history of AEW, especially for All Out. It is the perfect atmosphere for a main event where the AEW World Championship is on the line as Will Ospreay defends against the man who helped train him for this exact journey and a man Ospreay has never beaten, AEW Continental Champion Jon Moxley.
Nine matches make up the main card, including seven championship matches! All Out returns to Now Arena for the fifth time in AEW's history, coming home to the building where it all began. The venue hosted the original All In in 2018, the show that became one of the major catalysts for AEW's formation. Less than a year later, the building hosted All Out 2019, where AEW crowned its first-ever AEW World Champion when Jericho beat "Hangman" Adam Page. Chicago put its stamp on the event by hosting it from 2021-2024, including three years in the NOW Arena. Last year's event ventured outside the United States entirely for the first time, with Toronto earning the hosting honors. Now, All Out comes home to Chicago once again for a massive event.
Before the bell rings on the PPV, the AEW Saturday Tailgate Brawl airs live coast-to-coast at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT on TNT and HBO Max, with All Out itself kicking off at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT on PPV. The Saturday Tailgate Brawl will feature a pair of matches before the main card gets underway.

AEW World Championship Match: “The Aerial Assassin” Will Ospreay (c) vs. AEW Continental Champion Jon Moxley
This is the match Ospreay himself asked for. After winning the AEW World Championship from Kenny Omega at AEW All In: London, Ospreay requested and was granted the match he wanted to begin his reign. Just days after handing Ospreay his flag on the way to the ring at Wembley Stadium, Moxley actually saved Ospreay from a chair-wielding Gabe Kidd. And with the two standing next to each other, the All Out main event was revealed. The stunned look on Moxley’s face indicated he was blindsided by the announcement. Obviously, Ospreay was not, although he didn’t reveal that right away. Ospreay wanted the unlikely mentor who trained him ahead of his championship journey, the ace who's been there as long as AEW itself, the merciless architect of his broken neck, and the man Ospreay has never beaten. Moxley wondered aloud how it would feel to see Ospreay to the top of the mountain, only to take it all away and send him crashing to the ground? Could Ospreay handle that?
AEW World Champion Will Ospreay doesn’t waiver, though. He’s calling the shots. He’s the great white shark Moxley has to worry about now. He’s building his own United Empire in AEW and just added “Speedball” Mike Bailey to the mix. Meanwhile, Moxley hasn’t tried to take Ospreay out, which has been directly questioned by both Gabe Kidd and PAC. Despite all of that, Ospreay still has to do what he’s never done to make sure his long journey to a storybook victory in Wembley Stadium in front of family, friends and his country doesn’t end in sudden death. Ospreay couldn’t beat Moxley in April at Dynasty to win the AEW Continental Title because he was too focused on revenge. He didn’t beat Moxley when they first met at NJPW Windy City Riot back in 2022. Does Ospreay finally get the better of the man who helped make him, or does Moxley take everything he helped Ospreay achieve?
AEW Women's World Tag Team Championship Chicago Street Fight: The Brawling Birds (Alex Windsor and Jamie Hayter) (c) vs. Divine Dominion ("Megasus" Megan Bayne and "Colossal" Lena Kross)
A homecoming for The Brawling Birds set the stage for their win over Divine Dominion to take the AEW Women’s World Tag Team Titles last month in London. However, the celebrations didn’t last long, when Bayne beat Windsor one-on-one just three days later thanks to a belt shot from Kross. The Birds were furious and were willing to put the titles up against Divine Dominion in a rematch at All Out, but this time they wanted something more violent – a Chicago Street Fight!
Last week, Kross beat Hayter with some help from a well-hidden pipe. The back-and-forth continued on Dynamite and Collision when Divine Dominion presented the champions with a tea party as a parting gift before promising to take the titles back at All Out. Proper etiquette went out the window when the tea and crumpets turned into weapons, although it was Bayne and Kross who stood tall after backbreaking body slams on the ramp. Do the champions survive the chaos and give Divine Dominion another rare loss, or do Bayne and Kross reclaim the titles and their dominance over the division?
AEW World Tag Team Championship 3-Way Ladder Match: Christian Cage & Adam Copeland (c) vs. Young Bucks (Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson) vs. FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler)
Perhaps it was destiny, or maybe it’s just where things tend to end up when Christian Cage and Adam Copeland hold gold together, but it was the challenge from the tag champs that set the stage for this absolute dream of a 3-way match. Their AEW World Tag Team Titles will hang high above the ring, and only a ladder will ensure they can be retrieved, although Copeland also suggested the presence of tables and chairs. To remain champions, the champs will have to defeat a pair of the greatest tag teams to ever exist, FTR and the Young Bucks, both looking to literally get their hands on the AEW World Tag Team Championship for what would be a record-breaking fourth reign.
On Wednesday, both Cage and Copeland made it clear they are sick of hearing about a fourth reign and have been in more than 40 ladder matches combined despite all the quips about their age. The chirping turned into a full brawl, but security felt the brunt of the superkicks, a table, and a Con-Chair-To from the three teams, who were itching to get at each other.
Cage and Cope took the belts from FTR four months ago at Double or Nothing and notched their fourth successful defense against the Bucks at All In. Beating both teams is a whole different animal – but if there’s a duo who can pull it off or should we say, pull them down, it’s Cage and Cope. Who takes this generational dream match in Chicago?
AEW World Trios Championship Match: Swerve Strickland & The New Level (Austin Creed and Kofi) (c) vs. "Hangman" Adam Page & Brodido (ROH World Champion Bandido and Brody King)
Swerve Strickland and The New Level successfully defended the AEW World Trios Championship against The Demand in Indianapolis this past Wednesday, and the celebration didn't last long before "Hangman" Adam Page, Bandido and Brody King walked out to confront them, with their All Out AEW World Trios Title match set. Page offered measured respect to Creed and Kofi, but made it clear he didn't think either of them understood who they'd aligned themselves with. Swerve fired back with history, pointing out to King and Bandido that Page has left every partnership behind eventually. And two years ago at All Out in Chicago, the whole world saw exactly who Page truly is after he brought an end to a literal blood feud with Swerve inside a steel cage. How will these mind games between rivals affect such a huge title defense? Do the champions extend their reign with a fourth successful defense, or will Hangman and Brodido regain the AEW World Trios Titles?
AEW International Championship Match: "The Rainmaker" Kazuchika Okada of the Don Callis Family (c) vs. "Psycho Killer" Tommaso Ciampa
Tommaso Ciampa has said this is the one match he's wanted more than anything else, and after Okada insulted Ciampa’s challenge, Ciampa attacked and made it clear that he wanted the “Psycho Killer” against “The Rainmaker.” After beating the Callis Family’s Jake Doyle this past Wednesday, Ciampa called out Okada, who confirmed that Ciampa will get “The Rainmaker” at All Out, but it won’t be Ciampa who leaves with the AEW International Title, because he is not on Okada’s level. Does Ciampa’s thirst for gold end Okada’s reign or will The Rainmaker take this long-awaited showdown?
AEW National Championship Match: Andrade El Ídolo (c) vs. Death Riders' “The Bastard” PAC
After Andrade's fourth successful title defense, this one against Daniel Garcia last week on Collision, PAC and the Death Riders jumped the champion from behind, and PAC demanded his shot. With the match made, PAC beat Ace Austin in the main event of the special 3-hour Dynamite and Collision this week and kept the Brutalizer on after the bell, which set off a massive brawl that saw Andrade surprise PAC with a fight that quickly spilled into the crowd as the night came to a close. Does Andrade extend his dominant title reign en route to his goal of becoming the greatest AEW National Champion of all time, or does PAC put Andrade down to win his first singles gold in nearly four years?
TBS Championship Open Challenge: TBS Champion and CMLL World Women’s Champion Persephone (c) vs. ???
Persephone secured a win over Hyan with some assistance from the ropes to retain her TBS Title just days ago on the special 3-hour Dynamite and Collision. As a self-proclaimed humble fighting champion, Persephone put out an open challenge for All Out, with one self-declared catch: it can't be Hyan or Thunder Rosa, who will face Persephone and Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. next Wednesday on Dynamite. Who answers the open challenge, and can they take the title from the confident champion?
Winner Gets an AEW Women’s World Championship Shot against Champion Mercedes Moné at AEW WrestleDream: Willow Nightingale vs. Artist of STARDOM Champion “The Toxic Spider” Thekla
Two former AEW Women's World Champions collide, with the winner earning a shot at the AEW Women's World Championship at AEW WrestleDream in October! After AEW Women’s World Champion Mercedes Moné was not cleared to defend her title at All Out, this #1 contender match was made. Thekla has been steadfast in her belief that, unlike Moné and Nightingale, she should be the champion because of her durability. While Nightingale is still wrestling through the same hand injury that helped cost her the title at All In: London, she reminded Thekla that the last time they met, it was Nightingale who took the AEW Women’s World Title just two months ago at AEW Redemption. Thekla won the only other meeting in July 2025. Who takes the rubber match and punches their ticket to the AEW Women’s World Title Match at WrestleDream?
Winner Gets a Future AEW World Tag Team Championship Shot: TNT Champion Darby Allin & Steven Borden vs. Don Callis Family's "The Protostar" Kyle Fletcher & "The Jet" Kevin Knight
Borden is swimming in the deep end with a partner who lives to be among the sharks, Darby Allin. When Borden came to Allin’s defense in his vendetta against “The Jet” Kevin Knight, he put himself in the crosshairs of the entire Don Callis Family, before Borden and his father, Sting, helped Allin neutralize the Callis Family en route to Allin regaining the TNT Championship in a Falls Count Anywhere Match at All In. Borden and Allin then beat Mark Davis and Josh Alexander in Borden’s televised in-ring debut on Rebel Heart Dynamite, after being taken out by them in Alexander’s return the week prior. They earned another big win alongside AEW World Tag Team Champions Cage and Cope over Knight and “The Protostar” Kyle Fletcher and FTR a week later, and Allin declared he and Borden were ready to chase the AEW World Tag Team Championship together, just as he once did with Sting. That same night, the match was made: Borden and Allin would face Fletcher and Knight at All Out, with the winners getting a subsequent shot at the AEW World Tag Team Title.
As for Knight and Fletcher, the latter of whom also lost his AEW International Championship at All In, these two top-notch athletes were put together as a tandem by Don Callis and, after initially being uneasy partners, even they’ve had to admit to themselves how good they are as a team. Fletcher and Knight mocked Borden for his lack of experience, but the final word on Wednesday came from Borden and Allin in the rafters, promising a humbling defeat is coming. Do Allin and Borden take a step towards unlikely history or are Fletcher and Knight (and Callis) just too much for Borden’s inexperience?

Bang Bang Gang ("Switchblade" Jay White, Ace Austin, Austin Gunn and Colten Gunn) vs. Death Riders (Daniel Garcia and Wheeler Yuta) & The Dogs (Clark Connors and David Finlay)
After weeks of war with the Death Riders and The Dogs, “Coach” Juice Robinson issued the challenge last week on Collision for the two sides to meet in an 8-Man Tag at the Tailgate Brawl. Another brawl between the sides commenced later that night, and the match was made official. Even more than a wrestling match, this might be an opportunity for these eight bitter rivals to destroy each other! Who settles the score tonight?
"Jungle" Jack Perry vs. Katsuyori Shibata of The Opps
With Perry wanting to walk amongst killers and world champions, he directed his focus toward Samoa Joe, who left The Opps temporarily to handle some business. Perry didn’t get his answer from Joe. Instead, HOOK said if Perry wants Joe, he has to go through Katsuyori Shibata first! Shibata certainly provides Perry a dangerous blockade on his road to Joe. Does Perry get past Shibata and one step closer to Joe, or does Shibata put an end to those plans?
