AEW Collision Preview

AEW returns to the Byline Bank Aragon Ballroom in Chicago, IL, for the first episode of AEW Collision following the historic AEW All In: Texas. With championship gold reshuffled and new rivalries ignited, this Saturday’s lineup is stacked with high-stakes clashes, personal grudges, and big-money incentives.

From a $200,000 Tag Team showcase to the first words from the newly crowned TNT Champion Dustin Rhodes, Collision is set to help shape AEW’s landscape coming out of its biggest event of the year.

Here’s your full AEW Collision preview for Saturday, July 19, 2025.

All-Star 8-Man Tag: Bandido, Máscara Dorada & JetSpeed (Kevin Knight and “Speedball” Mike Bailey) vs. Don Callis Family’s Hechicero, Lance Archer, Rocky Romero & Josh Alexander

The animosity between ROH World Champion Bandido and Hechicero has intensified since their Casino Gauntlet altercation at All In: Texas, and now it spills into multi-man warfare. Bandido joins forces with the high-flying trio of Máscara Dorada, Kevin Knight, and Speedball Mike Bailey — a combustible mix of speed and aerial offense — to battle one of the Don Callis Family’s fearsome foursomes in the aforementioned Hechicero, Lance Archer, Rocky Romero, and Josh Alexander.

Expect chaos, innovation, and bruising brawls when these eight collide.

$200K 4-Way Tag Team Match: Gates of Agony (Bishop Kaun and Toa Liona) vs. Austin & Colten Gunn vs. CRU (Lio Rush & Action Andretti) vs. Big Bill & Bryan Keith

A $200,000 prize is on the line as four of AEW’s most dangerous and dynamic tag teams compete for cash, pride, and momentum.

The Gates of Agony (Bishop Kaun and Toa Liona), now aligned with Ricochet, have size and brutality to spare. The Gunns (Austin and Colten) come into Collision with something to prove after their return appearance at All In: Texas. CRU’s Lio Rush and Action Andretti bring a high-octane, hybrid offense to the field. And the team of Big Bill and Bryan Keith boasts terrifying power and undeniable prowess. This one promises to be fast, physical, and potentially enriching, with $200,000 up for grabs for one victorious team.

TNT Champion Dustin Rhodes Speaks

In a storybook moment, Dustin Rhodes etched his name into history at AEW All In: Texas, winning the TNT Championship after wrestling three matches across 24 grueling hours. Now, for the first time since his triumph, we’ll hear from the new champ.

What’s next for “The Natural”? Who will step up as his first challenger? And how is he feeling after one of the most demanding stretches of his legendary career? Rhodes addresses the AEW faithful this Saturday.

Megan Bayne vs. Tay Melo – Everyone Banned From Ringside

After weeks of brawls, sneak attacks, and match interruptions, Megan Bayne and Tay Melo will finally meet in a one-on-one bout with a clear stipulation: everyone other than the two competitors is banned from ringside to ensure there will be no outside interference.

With the playing field leveled, can Tay Melo overcome the overwhelming strength and ferocity of Megan Bayne? Or will Bayne continue her reign of destruction unimpeded?

Ricochet vs. AR Fox

AR Fox is looking for revenge after Ricochet and the Gates of Agony left him laid out several weeks ago in Seattle. Fox thrives in chaos and high-risk situations, but Ricochet has evolved into a rather ruthless operator. Expect fireworks and flight when these two innovators square off.

Taya Valkyrie vs. Alex Windsor

Alex Windsor made a splash at AEW All In: Texas during the Women’s Casino Gauntlet, and now the British standout makes her Collision debut against a battle-tested veteran in Taya Valkyrie.

Windsor is out to prove she belongs among AEW’s elite, while Taya is hungry for victory. A win here could serve as quite the measuring stick for either competitor as the women’s division continues to take shape after All In.

Max Caster Open Challenge!

Who can survive five minutes with The Best Wrestler Alive™? Coming off of the Casino Gauntlet Match at All In: Texas, Max Caster extends another of his … epic challenges out to the locker room. Who will answer the call? And will they survive?!

RUSH vs. Katsuyori Shibata

Two of AEW’s most intense and unrelenting competitors will collide in a first-time singles bout. Representing LFI, RUSH brings raw violence and volatility to the table. Across the ring stands The Opps’ Katsuyori Shibata, the stoic and surgical technician representing the AEW World Trios Champions.

This one could steal the show — but you’ll have to tune in to Collision this Saturday to see!
