AEW Collision Preview

Tonight, we are back in the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, PA, to finish our second week of residency when AEW Collision comes to you live at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT on TNT and streaming on HBO Max!

In a massive All Star 8-Woman Tag Match, AEW Women’s World Champion “Timeless” Toni Storm teams with Interim ROH World TV Champion Mina Shirakawa, Kris Statlander and Harley Cameron to take on Megan Bayne and Triangle of Madness’ Thekla, Julia Hart and Skye Blue, with everyone else banned from ringside. Daniel Garcia laid out the challenge and Jon Moxley accepted, so we’ll see a rematch from last week’s AEW Dynamite tonight on Collision. Mark Briscoe continues his pursuit of “The Protostar” Kyle Fletcher and his TNT Championship when he battles Konosuke Takeshita of the Don Callis Family.

Speaking of both, we will hear from Fletcher and Callis following the heinous actions of the Family toward AEW World Champion “Hangman” Adam Page and Kenny Omega this past week on Dynamite. Meanwhile, FTR told Adam Priest to find a partner to face them tonight, so he has chosen “Dynamite Kid” Tommy Billington. Plus, much more!

Here’s your complete AEW Collision preview for September 6, 2025.

AEW Collision Matches, Preview for Saturday, September 6

All Star 8-Woman Tag Match (Everyone Banned from Ringside): AEW Women’s World Champion “Timeless” Toni Storm, Interim ROH World TV Champion Mina Shirakawa, Kris Statlander & Harley Cameron vs. Triangle of Madness (Thekla, Julia Hart and Skye Blue) & Megan Bayne

Triangle of Madness sent a violent message to Toni Storm and any woman who opposes them last week on AEW Collision when they decimated Storm, Mina Shirakawa, and Queen Aminata following their trios tag main event. In fact, taking aim at Storm was arguably their biggest declaration of dominance to date.

Now, Storm, alongside Shirakawa, gets a little more help from the newly-formed team of Kris Statlander and Harley Cameron, who have had their own issues with Megan Bayne and Penelope Ford in addition to Triangle of Madness. With that said, Ford and everyone else will be barred from ringside tonight.

Can Triangle of Madness continue to execute their toxic schemes? Will Statlander and Cameron be the support Storm and Shirakawa need? We’ll find out when multiple rivalries collide in this All Star 8-Woman Tag Match!

Mark Briscoe vs. “The Alpha” Konosuke Takeshita of the Don Callis Family

Mark Briscoe has made it clear – he wants the TNT Championship and will stop at nothing to get his shot at “The Protostar” Kyle Fletcher. So on last week’s Collision, Don Callis told Briscoe he’d have to beat a member of the Don Callis Family to get his shot at the title.

This past week on Dynamite, an impatient Briscoe demanded to know his opponent, so Callis answered by presenting Konosuke Takeshita, with the twist that the match wouldn’t happen until Collision. Briscoe wanted more than that, though, and ended up in an impromptu match with Lance Archer. Briscoe took quite a beating, yet he still came away victorious.

Briscoe is focused, but he’ll face a Takeshita who’s on top of his game, with The Alpha just weeks removed from winning the grueling 2025 G1 Climax in Japan. Plus, Takeshita won the only one-on-one meeting between these two back in March, and he’s operating at an even higher level now.

The motivation is clear for Briscoe, but before he can get to Fletcher, Takeshita stands in his way tonight in front of what should be a very pro-Briscoe crowd in Philadelphia.

Jon Moxley vs. Daniel Garcia

Last week on AEW Dynamite, Daniel Garcia was unable to overcome Jon Moxley in his one-on-one match with the former AEW World Champion, although it seemed as if Moxley brought out a new level of aggression from Garcia. Afterwards, Moxley even offered what appeared to be encouraging words to Garcia, amid a bit of back-and-forth between the two.

Days later on Collision, Moxley momentarily appeared in Garcia’s corner for what might have been additional guidance ahead of his match with Blake Christian. Yet when Garcia came away with the victory, he put out a challenge to Moxley for a rematch, which we will see tonight.

Garcia says he’s been after Moxley for years and wants everything he has. So what does that mean to Garcia, and more importantly, how will he bring that focus to bear tonight? And why has Moxley been taking some extra time with Garcia?

We’ll Hear from TNT Champion “The Protostar” Kyle Fletcher and Don Callis

Don Callis made it clear he wants the AEW World Title in his Family. And after unsuccessfully trying to take out AEW World Champion “Hangman” Adam Page last week on AEW Dynamite, the Don Callis Family wouldn’t be denied both during and following the main event this past Wednesday.

After winning the All Star 8-Man Tag Match against Page, Kenny Omega and JetSpeed, the Don Callis Family didn’t stop the beatings. First, Fletcher put Hangman through a chair with a brainbuster. As if that wasn’t enough, Fletcher absolutely demolished Omega with another brainbuster, but this one was from the apron through a table on the floor!

With Omega out of the way and Hangman wounded, the Don Callis Family’s goal might very well be in sight. Of course, Fletcher himself still needs to keep an eye out for Mark Briscoe and his aspirations for the TNT Championship.

What will Fletcher and Callis say about their actions toward Omega and Page tonight? Are we that much closer to The Protostar taking over AEW?

FTR vs. Adam Priest & “Dynamite Kid” Tommy Billington

Adam Priest learned that getting involved in FTR’s business could be hazardous to his health. After an impressive effort with JD Drake in a loss to FTR on last week’s Collision, Priest found himself trying to play peacemaker during this past Wednesday’s brawl between FTR and Adam Copeland and Christian Cage.

When the dust seemed to settle, Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler decided to hit a spike piledriver on ROH roster member Jordan Oliver for no good reason, prompting Priest to go after FTR. Following a heated confrontation backstage, FTR challenged Priest to find a partner to face them tonight on AEW Collision. Priest found a face familiar to Dax in “Dynamite Kid” Tommy Billington, who faced Harwood in a tough loss last May.

How does FTR feel about facing an opponent who they know and seem to respect? We’ll find out when they almost certainly try to send another strong message to Copeland and Cage ahead of All Out in Toronto on September 20th as they face Priest and Billington tonight!
