Happy Thanksgiving! We’re back in Nashville, Tennessee for a special AEW Collision at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT on TNT and streaming on HBO Max!
The 2025 Continental Classic continues with a pair of first-time matches in AEW! In the Blue League, two of the hardest hitters in professional wrestling will meet when IWGP World Heavyweight Champion “The Alpha” Konosuke Takeshita faces Roderick Strong! And in the Gold League, PAC will try to match the first Continental Classic victories by fellow Death Riders Jon Moxley and Claudio Castignoli when he takes on “Speedball” Mike Bailey!
Plus, since Eddie Kingston wants a shot at AEW World Champion Samoa Joe (and for Joe to keep Eddie’s name out of his mouth), he issued a challenge to Joe’s fellow member of The Opps, Katsuyori Shibata – and that match will happen tonight! Daddy Magic and Daniel Garcia will finally square off one-on-one after months of verbal and physical confrontations, including their brawl in the Full Gear Casino Gauntlet, and we’ll hear from the new TNT Champion, Mark Briscoe, as well as the new AEW World Tag Team Champions, FTR!
Celebrate your Thanksgiving with us tonight on Collision in Nashville! Here’s your complete AEW Collision preview for November 27, 2025.
AEW Collision Matches, Preview for Thanksgiving Day
Continental Classic Blue League: IWGP World Heavyweight Champion “The Alpha” Konosuke Takeshita (0 points) vs. Roderick Strong (0 points)
Two men making their Continental Classic debuts will also face each other for the first time in singles action as the Blue League rolls on!
Takeshita’s tournament experience speaks for itself after he won this year’s New Japan Pro-Wrestling G1 Climax and parlayed that into a successful challenge against Zack Sabre Jr. for the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship. Winning both the G1 and Continental Classic in the span of months would be an unprecedented feat and send quite the message to Kazuchika Okada and the rest of the Don Callis Family.
Strong seems ready-made for tournament action, but surprisingly, this will be his first foray into a major, round-robin style format. His most notable tournament experience in AEW came in the 2023 Owen Hart Foundation Tournament.
These two men wound up brawling along with many other Continental Classic participants at the end of Dynamite. Now, what will happen when two of the hardest hitters in the world clash with points on the line in the Blue League?
Continental Classic Gold League: PAC (0 points) vs. “Speedball” Mike Bailey (0 points)
Gold League action continues in Collision with PAC facing “Speedball” Mike Bailey for the first time in AEW!
This is the first Continental Classic for both men. The ruthless PAC has been relentless since his return and brings nearly 20 years of tournament experience from all over the world, including the 2024 Owen Hart Foundation Tournament and the AEW World Trios Title Tournament in 2022.
Meanwhile, Bailey has been in more than 50 tournaments in the past 15 years, although he’s been more focused on tag team achievements in AEW since forming JetSpeed with “The Jet” Kevin Knight earlier this year. Perhaps Bailey will be inspired by Knight’s upset win over Darby Allin on Dynamite and take that motivation into his first match.
Will JetSpeed be up twice in two days, or will PAC make it a perfect 3-0 week for the Death Riders in the Continental Classic?
Eddie Kingston vs. AEW World Trios Champion Katsuyori Shibata
On Thanksgiving Eve Dynamite, Eddie Kingston didn’t want to discuss HOOK’s actions at Full Gear – but because Samoa Joe decided to throw his name around during his AEW World Championship celebration, Kingston did say he wants to fight Shibata. Kingston acknowledged he’s not in line for a title shot, but he figured beating Shibata would change that rather quickly.
Now back on his own, Kingston heads into Collision with designs on straight-up fighting against the man he brawled with at Full Gear, Shibata, in what should be one incredible match!
Daddy Magic vs. Daniel Garcia
This showdown between Daddy Magic and Daniel Garcia has been brewing for months, and now, they’ll finally throw down in the ring one-on-one tonight in Nashville.
When Garcia joined the Death Riders in September, he left Daddy Magic high and dry and refused to even speak to him, despite Magic’s pleas. Eventually, Garcia acknowledged what he did and ran down Daddy Magic, effectively killing any friendship they ever had.
Last week on Collision, Garcia attacked Daddy Magic at the commentary desk – but the tables were turned at Full Gear when both men ended up in the Casino Gauntlet and Magic brawled with Garcia all over the arena, ruining any chance of Garcia (or Magic, for that matter) winning the AEW National Title.
Tonight, Daddy Magic and Garcia go one-on-one for the first time in a battle of former friends turned bitter enemies!
We’ll Hear From the NEW TNT Champion, Mark Briscoe!
Mark Briscoe took home his first AEW singles title by ending the impressive TNT Championship reign of Kyle Fletcher at Full Gear in a wild no disqualification which also saved Briscoe from joining the Don Callis Family.
After such an emotional and rewarding victory, Briscoe will speak on Thanksgiving Collision!
We’ll Hear From the NEW AEW World Tag Team Champions, FTR!
Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler defeated Brodido at Full Gear to win their record-tying third AEW World Tag Team Championship, which adds yet another major accolade to their impressive resume of 11 different tag team titles across seven different promotions.
What will AEW’s winningest tag team (and Stokely) have to say about their latest achievement? Don’t expect these three to eat any humble pie on Thanksgiving!
