AEW Collision Summer Blockbuster Results: June 13, 2026 – Death Riders Beat STP in Wild Cincinnati Street Fight, Knight Retains TNT Title over Reed, Omega Wins Return Match, More

AEW Collision Results

AEW Collision: Summer Blockbuster was back at the Andrew J. Brady Music Center in Cincinnati, Ohio, on TNT and HBO Max for a special 2.5-hour event! We’re now just two weeks away from AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door on June 28 in San Jose, California, but the road to get there remained a dangerous one, with a Cincinnati Street Fight in the main event of Collision that had a bit of everything.


AEW Continental Champion Jon Moxley and the Death Riders wanted revenge for Shane Taylor Promotions’ constant attacks over the last month, so things needed to be settled without any restrictions. The bloody battle featured tables, tacks, glass, toy army men, brass knuckles and violence that can only happen when two sides hate each other this much. The Death Riders came away victorious, although everyone left the fight worse for wear.


Kenny Omega began the night with a hard-fought victory over Bad Dude Tito, one of Zack Sabre Jr.’s stablemates in TMDK. Omega can now look forward to his match with ZSJ at Forbidden Door in two weeks! The Young Bucks didn’t have the same success as Omega, as they succumbed to The Dogs in a battle of two teams who came into the match wanting a shot at AEW World Tag Team Champions Adam Copeland and Christian Cage.


“The Jet” Kevin Knight had a successful defense of his TNT Title over The Rascalz’ Myron Reed, while Reed’s partners, Dezmond Xavier and Zachary Wentz, were victorious in their tag team match. Knight later watched from the commentary desk as Jake Doyle beat “Speedball” Mike Bailey. We saw both Hikaru Shida and CMLL World Women’s Champion qualify for the TBS Championship Survival of the Fittest. Plus, AEW Women’s World Champion Thekla put out a STARDOM challenge for her title at Forbidden Door.


All that and so much more went down at the conclusion of Summer Blockbuster! Here are your complete results!

AEW Collision: Summer Blockbuster Recap Tonight for Cincinnati


Kenny Omega def. TMDK's Bad Dude Tito (w/ Mikey Nichols)

What a way to start Collision Summer Blockbuster! For the first time since Double or Nothing, Kenny Omega returned to the ring to face the heavy of TMDK, Bad Dude Tito. As we found out on Dynamite, TMDK’s Zack Sabre Jr. challenged Omega to face him at Forbidden Door, and Omega accepted! 


Tito offered a handshake to start things off, and Omega accepted, but Tito pulled him into a kick. Tito clubbed Omega near the ropes and bodyslammed him. Omega came back with a hurricanrana, so Tito bailed to the floor. That didn’t stop Omega from flying over the top rope with a springboard crossbody to Tito! Omega tried to send Tito into the barricade, but Tito reversed it. Omega got his foot up to stop the contact and nailed a back elbow. Omega grabbed Tito for a suplex, but Tito got the suplex on Omega instead! Omega hit the floor hard! Tito slammed Omega’s head on the apron and sent him back to the ring. Tito nailed a running uppercut and clothesline on Omega in the corner before throwing him across the ring with an exploder suplex! Tito covered for a two-count. Omega was in trouble! 


Tito and Omega exchanged strikes until Omega grabbed Tito on his shoulders for You Can’t Escape and a moonsault from the second rope, but Tito got his knees up. Tito kicked Omega low and then dropped him with an enzuigiri. Tito deadlifted Omega for a bridging German Suplex that got another nearfall. Omega tried to capture Tito in a Snap Dragon Suplex, but Tito elbowed his way free and chopped Omega to the ropes. Tito ran to the opposite side, but Omega followed with a flying knee! He took Tito over with a Snap Dragon Suplex and connected with a knee to Tito’s chest. Tito kicked out at two! Omega called for the V-Trigger and nailed it! He lifted the larger Tito for a One-Winged Angel and brought him down in a heap on the mat! Omega covered for the pinfall victory in a great test from Bad Dude Tito!

Kenny Omega Sees Zack Sabre Jr. as the Key to His Climb Back to the Top

Omega grabbed the mic after the match and said that about a week ago, he wondered what the next step was to climb back to the top. He couldn’t make it back for the Owen Cup, but he received “a nice pretty package” from Zack Sabre Jr. 


Omega brought up Bryan Danielson and Nigel McGuinness as comparisons for ZSJ, who is among the greatest technical wrestlers of all time. Omega wondered aloud why this match came to be, but it’s because ZSJ said Omega was once considered the best. Omega said some still think he is. Omega said he wants a mutual agreement where they both get something. If ZSJ can beat Omega at Forbidden Door, yes, he can claim to be one of the best and can claim to be the greatest technician on God’s green earth! 


So what does Omega get out of this? If he beats someone considered one of the best, maybe Omega can test himself against one of the best in AEW. While he wishes Will Ospreay all the best in the Owen Cup finale, he told Will he’s been doing it his own way for 27 years. Omega said ZSJ will be what takes him to the next level.


“So Zack, I’ll see you at Forbidden Door. MJF, it’s only a matter of time.”

Kyle Fletcher and Kazuchika Okada Want to Bring the AEW International Title Back to the Don Callis Family

Kyle Fletcher and AEW National Champion Mark Davis told Cincinnati to say both his and Davis’ full name. He knows Davis is down from not making it to the Owen Cup finals, but it’s not through any fault of his own. The reason he’s not in the final is because of Konosuke Takeshita. Fletcher thought Takeshita would be done with at Double or Nothing, but just like a jealous girlfriend, Takeshita can’t keep Fletcher’s name out of his mouth. That’s an issue, so Fletcher thinks it’s time to take some revenge. It is time to bring the AEW International Championship back to the Don Callis Family. “The Rainmaker” Kazuchika Okada joined the conversation and told Fletcher he was right because it’s time for them to bring the International Title back! Fletcher said, “Let’s do it,” and shook hands with Okada, who yelled, “PROTOKADA!” They walked off, and Davis seemed a little unsure of what he just saw.

Survival of the Fittest Qualifying Match for the TBS Championship: Hikaru Shida def. Zayda Steel (w/ Christopher Daniels)

As soon as the bell rang, Shida and Steel charged at each other and immediately started striking! Shida took Steel down and stayed on her with some kicks. Shida stopped a Steel arm drag and then mounted her in the corner for punches. Steel blocked a Falcon Arrow and took Shida over with a flying headscissors. Steel hit a European uppercut in the corner followed by a step-up knee. Steel came off the ropes with a basement dropkick. Shida went to the floor, so Steel followed with a slide, but Shida caught her. Shida hammered away on Steel and got a running start for a knee lift that was on target! 


Shida continued to decimate Steel with her vicious strikes back in the ring. Steel came back with a Thesz Press and took Shida down by her hair. Steel knocked Shida to the floor with an enzuigiri and followed out with a dive that connected in a big way! She threw Shida back in and got a near-fall. Shida put a knee into Steel’s gut to get separation and then came off the ropes with a flying knee that she got all of, which put Steel in a bad way. Steel tried to strike against Shida, and Shida quickly put her back on the mat. Steel locked Shida in an Octopus, so Shida escaped with a hair pull. Shida tried for a Falcon Arrow, but Steel rolled it into a near-fall! Shida hit another kick to Steel’s head and another running knee, but Steel kicked out again. What resolve! However, Steel couldn’t do anything to stop Shida’s Full Metal Muffler and was forced to tap out! Shida was the first to qualify for the Survival of the Fittest TBS Championship match!

Who is Leading The Opps?

Lexy Nair was with Anthony Bowens, HOOK and Katsuyori Shibata, but noted that The Opps were temporarily without their leader, Samoa Joe. Bowens said not to worry about it because the future is bright and it’s Pride of Professional Wrestling Month! Bowens says he’s feeling good and owes it all to Samoa Joe. Joe is teaching Bowens to choose violence, and that same violence will take The Opps back to the top of AEW and back to championship gold. Bowens asked Cincinnati to rise to their feet, extend their hands and give The Opps the standing ovation they so proudly deserve. HOOK quickly clapped his hands and said, "Enough of that." They don’t care about applause. They care about destroying everything in their path. He had Shibata back him up in Japanese. HOOK said Bowens shouldn’t act like he’s the leader around here. 


“Me and Shibata have been with The Opps since Day 1. You’re the new guy. Know your place.”


Bowens responded, “What’s going on with you, dude? I know The Opps have been your Day 1, but we’ve been boys since Day 1.”


HOOK said, “This isn’t about being boys. This isn’t about being friends. This is about violence. This is The Opps. We’re a group of killers! You understand that?”


Bowens said he got it. HOOK said, “Lexy, when you talk to The Opps, you talk to me.” HOOK walked off, and Bowens told Nair not to worry about it.

The Rascalz' Zachary Wentz & Dezmond Xavier def. Aaron Atlas & Austin Atlas

Xavier toyed with Aaron Atlas at the beginning and sent him to the Rascalz’ corner. He tagged Wentz as he went over the top rope to the apron and hit an enzuigiri. Wentz slid across the ring and came back across for a Bronco Buster in the corner! The Rascalz lit up Austin Atlas with a painful double-team of stomps. Wentz and Xavier went back-and-forth with uppercuts in the corners. Xavier sent Wentz to one corner for a flying leg lariat and then did the same in the opposite corner. Xavier pushed Wentz into Hot Fire Flame for the quick pinfall victory!


After the match, Xavier and Wentz said The Rascalz were the hottest trios team in AEW, so Cincinnati should get to see all three of them. They introduced Myron Reed, who entered for his TNT Championship match.

TNT Championship Match: “The Jet” Kevin Knight (c) (w/ Don Callis) def. Myron Reed of The Rascalz

Callis joined commentary for this TNT Title match. Knight pushed away a Reed handshake at the start and then worked Reed to the corner. Reed reversed it and let go for a clean break. Reed took Knight down with a waistlock, and Knight ducked out of the way of a kick. Knight booted Reed in the gut and pounced on him with punches. Knight went after Reed on the apron, but stuck his head through the ropes, which allowed Reed to leg drop him onto the apron! Reed went up top and leaped over Knight. Knight avoided Reed’s kicks, and Reed avoided a clothesline before nailing Knight with a dropkick. Reed charged Knight in the corner, who lifted Reed over the top to the apron, but Reed came right back with a lungblower. Knight rolled to the floor, and Reed tried to chase after him, but Knight went back to the ring. Knight tried to dive through the ropes, but Reed caught him with a cutter! Reed came back in with a springboard dropkick for a two-count! 


Knight aggressively sent Reed to the corner and hit some chops, but Reed turned things right back around with chops of his own. Knight reversed Reed into the opposite corner, and Reed hit the middle turnbuckle hard. Knight saw that and hit a springboard clothesline to Reed. Knight mounted Reed and connected with some stiff shots to the head. Knight bodyslammed Reed and covered him for a two-count. Knight methodically stomped away at Reed, but Reed started fighting back with body shots. Knight cut that off with a clothesline that turned Reed inside out! Knight covered Reed three times, and each time got a two-count. 


Knight showed some frustration with the count, but regrouped and put Reed in an abdominal stretch. Reed broke free for a brief moment, but Knight took him right back down and floated over to hit a seated dropkick. Reed kicked out at two. Knight tried for a uranage, so Reed reversed it into a pin attempt for a nearfall! Reed rebounded Knight off the ropes into a big throw across the ring. Both men stayed down until Reed sprang back to his feet and started picking up momentum with a barrage of shots. Both tried a big boot at the same time, but Reed connected first. Reed ducked a shot from Knight and hit another kick to Knight’s jaw! Reed picked up Knight and dropped him with a Hung Five for a nearfall!


Reed went for a dive, but Knight escaped the target zone and re-entered the ring from the steps. Reed ended up on the top rope, so Knight took him to the mat with a hurricanrana. He followed with a spinning backbreaker for a two-count! Knight made his way to the top rope, but Reed got up and met Knight on the top rope. He tried for a superplex, but Knight knocked Reed onto the ramp and came back to the mat. Knight tried to suplex Reed back into the ring, but instead, Reed stunned Knight over the top rope. Reed got a running start down the ramp and flew over the top rope for a picturesque flying cutter! With Knight on the apron, Reed jumped over the top rope and brought Knight crashing to the floor with another flying cutter! Unbelievable!


Reed went up top and connected with a No Cap Splash! 1-2-Knight got his foot on the rope! We almost had a new TNT Champion! Reed tried to hoist Knight, but he struggled to get him up with some weakness in his hips from the earlier cutters. The two traded reversals until Reed nearly beat Knight by reversing a uranage into a pinning predicament. Knight stopped a cutter and dropped Reed on the mat with authority thanks to his new finishing weapon of choice, a uranage! He pinned Reed to win and successfully defend the TNT Championship!


AEW Women’s World Tag Team Champions Divine Dominion Wonder Who is Left

“Colossal” Lena Kross and “Megasus” Megan Bayne said because of their dominance, the concern is that one day, there will be no one left. Who dares to climb when the fall is so fatal? 


“Don’t stare too long at heaven. You might wind up in hell.”

Athena and Maya World Know Each Other Well

Maya World explained the tragic timeline she dealt with over the last week. Last weekend, she learned that her big brother, who showed her wrestling for the first time, had suddenly passed away. World was given time off, but she insisted on coming to Dynamite to be with her second family. World called it the opportunity of her life. She doesn’t know how or why, but she won. Now, she faces Athena again. World hopes that everything Athena taught her comes back to bite Athena in the ass. 


“This is the opportunity of my life, and with everything in my soul, I’m taking it.”


Athena responded to World, saying she’s torn between her ambition and her morals. She’s truly, truly sorry for what World is going through, but Athena is wondering, what about her? What about the work she’s put in week after week as the forever ROH Women’s World Champion? Athena said she may have taught World everything World knows, but not everything that Athena knows. Athena admitted she’s never made it past the Semifinals of the Owen Cup, which lights a fire in her that no one would understand. 


“And let’s face it. As cute as your Cinderella story is, as cute as the ‘It Girl’ is, here’s a little reminder from your teacher. Just ‘cause you’re the ‘It Girl’ doesn’t mean you’re not living in my world.”

ROH Women’s World Champion Athena def. Tiara James

Athena dropped James with a strong forearm with the first strike of the match and continued to pummel James to the mat. She followed with a knee lift and sent James to the corner. Athena hit a running forearm in the corner followed by a handspring forearm in the opposite corner. James tried to fight back and hit Athena with a stiff forearm, although that only seemed to anger Athena. James got a pair of one-counts and then a jackknife pin for a near-fall. Athena smashed James with a dropkick to send her to the apron and followed with another slide to send James to the floor. Athena came flying through the ropes with a dive that sent James careening into the barricade. Athena locked James in the Koji Clutch to get the tap out and victory. 


That wasn’t enough for Athena, as she held James in the submission for a little bit longer. Athena backed off for a few moments, but decided to continue the post-match attack on James until Maya World ran out to make the save! Athena bailed and went up the ramp, although World tried to invite her back in the ring. While World checked on James, Athena ran back down and laid out World with a running forearm. She continued her attack on World and slammed World face-first into the ROH Women’s World Title! Athena yelled at James that it was her time and blasted World one more time before leaving the ring.


Ricochet Calls Out AEW International Champion Konosuke Takeshita

Ricochet was standing by with Toa Liona and Bishop Kaun and said he’s had success after success since coming to AEW. For every success they’ve had, he can admit, there have been a couple of downs. He lost his AEW National Championship in a 21-man Blackjack Battle Royale. Then, there’s an example of success. Being able to tell the entire world he has a 2-1 record over Jericho. After conquering the feud of Jericho, Ricochet can refocus on his quest for gold. So who will he pick?


“Takeshita, I’m coming for you!”


It looks like Ricochet wants the AEW International Championship!

The Dogs' David Finlay & "100 Proof" Clark Connors def. Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson)

Finlay and Connors continued their unnecessary tradition of messing with stage managers before their entrance, only this time, Finlay laid one out with his shillelagh! The Young Bucks, meanwhile, got a massive ovation heading into this heated showdown. 


Finlay and Nick started this first-time matchup, but Connors quickly made a blind tag. Nick evaded both men and sent Connors outside. He stayed on Finlay and tossed him onto Connors on the floor! Nick threw Connors back inside, but he quickly broke loose and tagged Finlay, who ran right into an armdrag. Matt tagged in, as Nick hit Finlay with a neckbreaker through the ropes. Matt flew in with a senton on Finlay and ran over to knock Connors off the apron. Matt clotheslined Finlay as Nick kicked him in the back of the head. The Bucks hit a combo neckbreaker on Finlay and celebrated with the fans. Connors came back in, and it looked like The Dogs turned things around, but the Bucks reversed whips out of the corners to take out The Dogs. 


The Bucks looked for a double dive, so The Dogs got out of the way and went to the ramp. Matt helped Nick run up the ropes and take down both Dogs on the ramp. The Dogs came back to send Matt back into the ring, and with Nick isolated, Finlay and Connors ran through him with a double shoulder tackle. Connors went up top, and Finlay held Nick, but Nick shoved Finlay into Connors, which knocked him from the top rope.  Connors blocked Nick from coming back in the ring by shoving him back to the ramp. Finlay nailed Nick with a backbreaker across his knee! Matt hit a superkick on Connors! Matt flipped over Finlay and hit a superkick! Matt ran off the stage and dove onto Finlay with a flying crossbody! 


Matt hooked Finlay up for a suplex, but Finlay picked Matt up instead and held him for Connors for a Full Clip from the ramp! Nick threw Matt back in the ring to beat the count, but The Dogs were ready with a high/low spear/chopblock combo! Matt kicked out just in the nick of time! The Dogs punished Matt and kept him isolated from Nick for an extended period. Even with the crowd trying to will Matt back into the match, The Dogs showed no mercy, as Finlay dropped Matt with a high-angle backbreaker across his knee to get a near-fall. Connors tagged in and knocked Nick off the apron. Connors went up top for another Full Clip, but Matt sent Finlay into Connors. While Matt had Finlay rolled up, Connors charged so Matt flipped him into a Northern Lights Suplex! He hit both of The Dogs with Northern Lights Suplexes at the same time, and the door was open to make a tag.


Nick finally tagged back in the match! He took on both Finlay and Connors with a barrage of offense. He took a walk up the ropes and brought down The Dogs with an armdrag/headscissors combination. Nick went to the top and connected with a crossbody on Connors to get a near-fall. Matt tagged back in, and he helped Nick with a sunset flip bomb to Connors followed by a Sliced Bread to Finlay. The Bucks went to opposite corners and came off with Matt hitting an elbow drop and Nick coming down with a senton bomb. The Bucks stayed on The Dogs with a pair of Sharpshooters until Connors, as the legal man, broke the hold by getting to the ropes. Matt tagged back in and called for a Superkick Party! Connors took a couple shots, but caught the third and threw it into Matt’s face. He pounced the Bucks into each other, but Matt came back with a superkick out of nowhere. Finlay came in, and had a brief flurry before the Bucks lit him up with superkicks. Matt draped Finlay over the top rope and Nick went up top for a double stomp to Finlay’s back, which propelled him into a sitout powerbomb by Matt! Connors was still the legal man, and got a roll-up for a near-fall. Connors ate a superkick from Nick, which allowed Matt to pick him up for a tombstone, which Nick kicked Connors into from the top rope! Connors kicked out at two!


Connors found himself isolated by the Bucks, and after a pair of kicks, they crushed him with a BTE Trigger! 1-2-Finlay makes the save! The Bucks sent Finlay back to the floor and set up Connors for a flipping piledriver, but Finlay pulled Nick down to the floor and threw him into the ring post. Matt put his head through the ropes to check on Nick, so Finlay blasted him with the shillelagh! Connors speared Matt! Nick came back in to make the save just before the referee counted three. Nick did a great job fighting off both Finlay and Connors until Finlay put him on the apron, allowing Connors to spear him through the ropes onto the ramp! The Dogs hit The Full Clip on Matt for the pinfall victory! What a huge win for Finlay and Connors! 

The Conglomeration is Ready to Help Mark Briscoe Become AEW World Champion

We learned on Dynamite that Mark Briscoe found a way to an AEW World Title shot, but his team must win a six-on-six steel cage match against Team MJF at Forbidden Door. Back on Collision, The Conglomeration responded to the news as Kyle O’Reilly asked Roderick Strong and Tomohiro Ishii if they had heard that they had found a path, even if it was a rocky one. This Wednesday on Dynamite, Mark Briscoe will reveal the dream team, and it doesn’t matter if they are from The Conglomeration or Conglomeration-adjacent warriors. Strong cut him off with “KYLE!” and said it does matter because he hates MJF and will forever hate him


“After we smash through that Forbidden Door, the next AEW World Champion will be from Sandy Fork, By God, Delaware! Imagine that.”

AEW Women’s World Champion Thekla Reveals Her Plans for STARDOM

Tony Schiavone started to apologize to STARDOM on behalf of AEW, but Thekla interrupted him from the crowd. She said she wouldn’t be apologizing to STARDOM, AEW or any of these “little bitches” for what she has done. She told Schiavone to shut his mouth. She climbed onto the commentary desk and said that STARDOM had her and then fired her, but look at her now! She’s the AEW Women’s World Champion and the biggest attraction in the business! When she spat on the STARDOM logo last week, it was the best thing to happen to them because it got everyone talking. She spit on her hand.


“My saliva is worth more than anything you have in that STARDOM locker room.”


Thekla rubbed her hand on Schiavone’s jacket and said she knows the whole STARDOM locker room wants a piece of her. So she proposed that STARDOM send their “best girl” because she’ll give them a shot at the AEW Women’s World Title at Forbidden Door. She also offered a first-class ticket to STARDOM president Tara Okada, so he could see the monster he created. She’s the most toxic woman alive and the biggest mistake he’s ever made.

Bang Bang Gang Have Painful Plans for The Dogs

Austin Gunn explained that the $200K they won months ago went into “Juice Robinson’s Super Affordable, Quick and Easy, Kinda Reliable Spay and Neuter Center for Lost Dogs”. (Yes, he really said that). Robinson said he does all the procedures himself. He threatened to snip The Dogs and said he’d do the same to Gabe Kidd when he comes back.


Ace Austin let everyone know, “If you’re not down with Dr. Juice and the neutered Dogs, we got two words for you: Gunns Up!”

Survival of the Fittest Qualifying Match for the TBS Championship: CMLL World Women's Champion Persephone def. Triangle of Madness' Julia Hart

As Persephone made her entrance, we looked back on the night she was sprayed with the black mist by Hart. Persephone charged at Hart at the bell, but Hart moved and hit Persephone in the face to show her damaged eye. The shot angered Persephone and took Hart down with punches. She took Hart down with a shoulder tackle and gator-rolled her into a pin attempt for a one-count. Persephone avoided a Hart strike by Matrix-ing out of the way and came off the ropes for an armdrag. Persephone sent Hart to the ropes, but she kicked Persephone in the leg and came off the ropes to blast Persephone in the back. Persephone came right back to bridge Hart for a near-fall. Hart bailed to the floor and put an arm over the TBS Title. Persephone charged after Hart and nearly collided with the TBS Title. Hart got on the apron, so Persephone pulled her off and held Hart on her shoulders. She tried to slam Hart face-first onto the title, but Hart avoided it. However, she couldn’t avoid Persephone slamming her face-first into the corner of the apron! Persephone seemed to be in control, but it didn’t last for long, as Hart’s viciousness turned the tide back in her favor with an illegal hair pull back in the ring.


As Hart remained in control, she walked the ropes, controlling Persephone’s arm, and leaped off for a flying hurricanrana. Hart got Persephone down near the turnbuckles and tried for a moonsault, but landed on her feet when Persephone moved. Persephone lit up Hart with chops in the corner and took her down with a running shoulder tackle. Persephone rolled Hart to the mat from a fireman’s carry and came off the top with a shotgun dropkick! Hart kicked out at two! Persephone picked Hart off the mat and tried to put Hart on her shoulders, but Hart turned it into a nearfall. The two exchanged pin attempts, but when Persephone went for a crucifix bomb, Hart rolled through for another near-fall. Persephone came back with a shotgun dropkick, but couldn’t take advantage right away, and Hart went to her eye. Persephone speared Hart!


The two battled up the ramp, and after a few close calls, Persephone grabbed a charging Hart for a nasty powerslam on the ramp. She threw Hart back in the ring, but Hart went to the adjacent apron, and when Persephone came over, Hart ripped at her damaged eye. Persephone clocked Hart with a huge shot to the face to slap the mist out of Hart’s mouth! Persephone nailed a devastating crucifix bomb to get the pinfall victory! Persephone joined Hikaru Shida in advancing to the Survival of the Fittest TBS Championship match, but four spots remain.

Starlight Kid is Coming for Thekla at Forbidden Door

According to Tony Schiavone and Nigel McGuinness, STARDOM responded to Thekla’s earlier comments and AEW Women’s World Championship challenge for Forbidden Door. They will be sending the debuting Starlight Kid to face Thekla, as she owns a previous victory over Thekla in STARDOM. Then, we took a special look at Starlight Kid before her AEW debut!

Thekla Knows Starlight Kid and Despises Her!

Lexy Nair asked Thekla about facing Starlight Kid at Forbidden Door. She mockingly applauded STARDOM president Tara Okada and wondered if that was truly the best they had. Thekla said she knows all about Starlight Kid and she despises her. Thekla said she’ll beat Starlight Kid with a passion, and it’s going to be great, because Starlight Kid has never been in AEW, so Thekla will make sure it is the last time she’s in AEW and spit on her grave!

Don Callis Family's Jake Doyle (w/ TNT Champion “The Jet” Kevin Knight) def. "Speedball" Mike Bailey 

Bailey watched “The Jet” Kevin Knight retain his TNT Championship over Myron Reed earlier tonight without any help from the Don Callis Family. In fact, Bailey doesn’t think Knight needs any help, and he’s going to prove it by beating every member of the Callis Family, starting with Jake Doyle. Doyle was accompanied by Knight, who went on to join commentary.


Bailey tried to stick and move with Doyle at the onset, which seemed to work quite well, as he used his educated feet to knock Doyle to the apron. Bailey charged at Doyle with a big kick, but Doyle caught it, so Bailey swept his leg. With Doyle on the floor, Bailey came off the second rope with a moonsault. He stayed on the floor and nailed Doyle with a flying karate kick. Bailey stayed on Doyle with a barrage of powerful kicks near the guardrail. Bailey got distracted by Knight for just a few seconds, so Doyle threw Bailey back in the ring. Bailey dove back out for a flying headscissors, so Doyle used Bailey’s momentum to send him into the commentary desk! He picked up Bailey for a big powerbomb on the apron! 


Finally, Bailey showed some life with a flurry of kicks, but Doyle shut that down, and the fight moved to the apron. Doyle went for a piledriver on the apron, but Bailey escaped, and with Doyle down, Bailey hit a standing moonsault knee drop on Doyle’s chest! Back in the ring, Bailey kept avoiding Doyle’s grasp and continued to pepper Doyle with kicks, including another moonsault knee drop, but couldn’t keep Doyle down. Bailey thought he had Doyle in big trouble with a pair of big shots, but turned his back for just a second too long, which allowed Doyle to clothesline the downed Bailey in the back! The two got back to their feet in opposite corners, but Doyle ran into a kick from Bailey. Bailey hit another, but when he went for a third, Doyle stepped on his foot. Doyle overpowered Bailey with some stiff shots, but when Doyle tried to powerbomb him, Bailey floated over to the apron and got Doyle to run into the turnbuckle. Bailey brought him down with a powerbomb from the turnbuckles. Doyle kicked out! Bailey went up and connected with Ultima Weapon! 1-2-KICK OUT BY DOYLE!


Bailey fired up and measured Doyle for Time Adventure, but Doyle laid him out with a forearm! Doyle threw Bailey back with a fallaway slam and covered Bailey, who kicked out at two. Doyle sent Bailey to the corner, but missed with a shoulder charge. Bailey hit a Corner Cyclone Kick and went back up, but Ultima Weapon missed! Doyle was able to pick up Bailey for a sitout powerbomb and covered Bailey for the pinfall win! 

Cincinnati Street Fight: Death Riders (AEW Continental Champion Jon Moxley, Marina Shafir, PAC, Claudio Castagnoli and Daniel Garcia) def. Shane Taylor Promotions (Shane Taylor, ROH Pure Champion Lee Moriarty, Trish Adora, Carlie Bravo and "Capt." Shawn Dean)

Our main event started outside the arena! As the Death Riders made their usual walk to come into the building, they were ambushed by Shane Taylor Promotions! A brawl broke out near outdoor metal detectors and concession stands. The Infantry trapped Claudio Castagnoli under a pile of guardrails! The Cincinnati Street Fight finally came inside the arena, with Moxley and Taylor being the first two to enter the ringside area. Moxley threw a chair at Taylor, then at Moriarty. Adora threw Shafir into a ring post! Mox put Taylor in a chair near the barricade. In the ring, Moriarty got out of Garcia’s Liontamer attempt and used a neck twist to do even more damage. PAC came in to attack Moriarty. 


PAC worked over Moriarty in the corner, but when he sent Moriarty to the opposite side, he reversed it. PAC jumped back over Moriarty, and they exchanged reversals until Moriarty got the better of the exchange with a pinpoint dropkick! Moriarty started jawing with the crowd, so he never saw Mox come up behind him! Moxley dropped Moriarty with one forearm and then mounted him in the corner for a barrage of punches. The Infantry and Taylor hit the ring to save Moriarty and beat Moxley down to the mat. With Bravo and Dean holding Moxley, Taylor put on brass knuckles and blasted Moxley in the face! The Infantry continued to stomp out Moxley, who came up bleeding from the head. Finally, Castagnoli entered the ring and uppercutted Taylor into the corner! He nailed Dean with one that sent him to the floor and unloaded on Bravo in the corner! Dean came back for the save, so Castagnoli unleashed a flurry of strikes to crumple Dean to the mat. Castagnoli grabbed Taylor and executed a huge vertical suplex in a vulgar display of power! Adora stepped in Castagnoli’s way before he could do any more damage to Dean and lit him up with a chop! That got Castagnoli to rip off his mask, but Adora decided to lay in more chops. Taylor tried to attack from behind, but Castagnoli stopped that with a massive spinebuster and hung on for the swing! Adora chopped Castagnoli in the back, so Taylor was able to roll out of the ring. 


Adora tried another chop, but this time Castagnoli caught it, and Shafir took down Adora from behind. She gave Adora’s legs to Castagnoli and called for him to swing her! The Cincinnati crowd was fully behind Shafir’s idea, and it didn’t hurt that she was wearing orange striped Zubaz like a loose cannon! Castagnoli obliged and swung Adora until Shafir ended the swing with a shotgun dropkick! The brawls continued all over the ringside area until Adora came back in the ring and attacked Shafir with a roller skate! Adora kicked Shafir into the corner so that Dean could jump on her with the BBC! STP made the mistake of posing for the camera while Dean finished his attack in the ring, so they didn’t see PAC and Moxley set up a table in the ring! Castagnoli took Dean off the turnbuckles and powerbombed him through the table! 


The rest of STP finally realized what was happening and tried to get back in the ring. Castagnoli and PAC knocked Bravo and Moriarty off the apron, and Garcia dove through the ropes to send Taylor into the barricade! PAC came off the top with a moonsault to the outside! Moriarty and Garcia did battle in the ring, while Adora used a heel to batter Shafir against the apron. Garcia tried to leg-whip Moriarty down to the mat, but Moriarty countered with an armbar, so Garcia rolled him up for a two-count! Moriarty escaped a choke and put on one of his own, which Garcia rolled out of and sent Moriarty to the corner. The Death Riders were now all in the ring. They took rapid-fire turns punishing Moriarty over and over in the corner until PAC sent Moriarty to Castagnoli for a backbreaker. He held Moriarty over his knee so that PAC could hit a shotgun dropkick! That cleared the ring, so the Death Riders celebrated with their huddle as Moxley posed for the crowd. STP didn’t like that, so they all got back in the ring and fought everyone to the floor. 


PAC pulled out another table from under the ring and set it up on the floor. Dean blasted PAC with a helmet and put him on the table. Adora suplexed Shafir from the steel steps to the ramp! Dean ran off the ramp and splashed PAC through the table! Castagnoli threw Taylor into another set of steel steps, but before he could do any more damage, Moriarty trapped Castagnoli in an octopus. Castagnoli walked up the steps with Moriarty attached to him and propelled himself backward to send him and Moriarty through the timekeeper’s table! Back in the ring, Garcia turned Bravo inside out with a clothesline and went for a piledriver, but dropped Bravo when Christyan XO appeared on the ramp with a shirt that said “Death Ride Deez Nuts.” Garcia responded by raising his fists for what looked like his old dance, but Bravo grabbed him from behind. Garcia reversed it and sent Bravo into the ropes at XO. Garcia didn’t see XO give Bravo brass knuckles, which he cracked across Garcia's head! XO threw a chair in the ring, so Bravo set it up in front of a kneeling Garcia. Bravo and Dean ran out of adjacent corners to both stomp Garcia into the chair! Bravo covered, but Moxley broke it up with a dropkick. 


Moxley dropped both members of The Infantry with a double DDT. Somehow, Moxley produced an uncovered turnbuckle and used it on Dean, but Taylor attacked from behind. As Garcia poured blood from inside the ring, Moxley was doing the same on the floor, so Taylor went out to get him. Bravo and Taylor set up another table on the floor between the apron and the commentary desk. Dean came out to join them, but Moxley defiantly pushed Bravo and Dean away and flipped off Taylor! They beat him down to the ground and picked him back up for a triple powerbomb through the table! The Cincinnati crowd booed this vociferously, but then STP saw a bloody Shafir was in the ring all alone. Taylor, Dean, Bravo and Adora surrounded Shafir, so she took the first shot at Taylor! She got a couple more shots in until Taylor pushed her into a Lariat Tubman from Adora! They ripped off Shafir’s boots and socks, and Adora produced bags full of army men, tacks and glass, which were poured all over the ring! They lifted Shafir and dropped her feet-first on the mess of sharp objects all over the ring! Somehow, Shafir stood up and ground the glass and tacks into her feet! She kicked Adora in the face with the foot covered in glass and tacks! 


Castagnoli came back to double-clothesline Dean and Bravo, sending them to the floor. Castagnoli gorilla-pressed PAC over the top onto Dean and Bravo on the floor. Moriarty knocked Castagnoli to the floor and caught Garcia in the Border City Stretch, but Garcia escaped by using a piece of glass to cut Moriarty’s forearm. Garcia locked in the Dragon Tamer, but before Moriarty could tap, Taylor blasted Garcia in the face to break the hold. Shafir jumped on Taylor’s back, and he flipped her off to the mat. Moxley hit a running cutter on Taylor into the glass and tacks! Moxley was fired up! The Death Riders went into a barrage of strikes on Taylor in the corner until PAC put Taylor down with his momentum clothesline! Moxley dropped Taylor with a Paradigm Shift and covered him for the blood-soaked victory in a wild Cincinnati Street Fight! The Death Riders celebrated to bring Collision and Summer Blockbuster to a close!
