AEW Dynamite Results

We had a LIVE 3-HOUR SPECIAL AEW Dynamite and Collision from The Liacouras Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on TBS and HBO Max with all the fallout from AEW Double or Nothing!

AEW World Champion MJF attempted to celebrate his third AEW World Championship, but was interrupted by one of the last men to beat him, Mark Briscoe! While MJF denied Briscoe a shot at the title, RUSH came out to make his case, and MJF agreed to put the AEW World Title on the line against him next week on Dynamite!

We all waited to hear what Kevin Knight would have to say about his attack on Darby Allin after the main event of Double or Nothing, and Knight showed no remorse, even giving Allin credit for once telling Knight not to waste any time. As Knight proclaimed his intentions for taking over, his partner, “Speedball” Mike Bailey, came out to reason with Knight. Knight attacked Bailey with the microphone, laying him out to end their partnership. Later, Bailey challenged Knight to face him next week, and they’ll meet for the TNT Championship!

And in the main event, Kris Statlander went to some extreme lengths to beat Hikaru Shida in a Lights Out Philly Street Fight that saw Statlander put Shida through a table with a Staturday Night Fever only to follow with another Staturday Night Fever into light tube shards to end the unsanctioned match!

The last two quarterfinal matches of the Owen Hart Foundation Men’s Tournament took place, with Brody King outlasting Claudio Castagnoli and AEW National Champion Mark Davis beating “Jungle” Jack Perry. Davis will face Will Ospreay in one half of the semifinals, while King will take on Swerve Strickland. Speaking of Ospreay, he teamed with AEW Continental Champion Jon Moxley and PAC to beat The Rascalz, but he also got a pep talk of sorts from Kenny Omega after Double or Nothing.

Plus, The Dogs ruined Cage & Cope’s AEW World Tag Team Championship 5-Second Pose with a brutal beatdown and made their intentions clear that they will be the new AEW World Tag Team Champions.

What a massive night of action in Philadelphia! Here are your complete results!

AEW Dynamite & Collision Recap Tonight for Philadelphia

Will Ospreay and Kenny Omega Catch Up After Double or Nothing

Renee Paquette was able to get some comments from Ospreay after his win over Samoa Joe in the Owen Cup. Ospreay said he was buzzing and his body feels good before continuing to the trainer’s room. In there, Kenny Omega was icing his head after a wild Stadium Stampede. Omega offered Ospreay his ice, as he checked in on Ospreay, who once again said he was feeling good and happy about moving to the next round. Omega asked if he could talk to Ospreay for a second. He wanted to address the elephant in the room: the Death Riders. His worry was Ospreay trusting them. They do what they say they will do. They wanted to hurt Omega, and they did. They wanted to break Ospreay’s neck, and they did. When Ospreay came back, Omega was right there for him, so why didn’t Ospreay ask for him? Omega said it would have been so easy to help Ospreay.

“For sure, it would be if you showed up. Mate, with all due respect, you’re not here.”

Omega said he couldn’t be there every week, and Ospreay questioned why that was the case if this was the best Omega had ever felt. Omega said he lost his chance and has his own way of going about things. He can’t bounce back like he used to because it’s not just a physical thing, it’s a mental thing, it’s an emotional thing. He needs a game plan because he’s not the same guy he once was, and Ospreay isn’t either. But if they stick together, they can do crazy things. They can do amazing things. Omega gets the appeal of the Death Riders because they get the job done. He’s not telling Ospreay not to trust them, but to be careful, as a friend.

As Omega finished the sentence, Jon Moxley appeared and said that was good advice. They all have their skeletons, don’t they? Omega said, “Don’t we all.” Moxley let Ospreay know the Death Riders’ truck was waiting outside and left. Omega said he’d leave them to do neck bridges or whatever the Death Riders do, but Ospreay can call him anytime. Omega started to leave, but Ospreay left him with one request.

“Ken, don’t give up on that World Title, mate.”

“Yeah, you too.”

TNT Champion "The Jet" Kevin Knight Addresses His Actions at Double or Nothing

We came back inside the arena for the entrance of Knight, who walked down the aisle to a steady stream of boos. When Knight took the mic, he was surrounded by chants of “F*** you, Kevin!”

Knight said he shouldn’t expect anything less from these fans. Knight tried to push through the fans, who continued to taunt him, but said these fans need to show him some respect when he has the mic. He keeps hearing the same word: why. He said Darby Allin let him down. He let everyone down. Just like the 76ers did against the Knicks, Allin let us all down. Knight decided he wasn’t going to trust the process anymore and to take things into his own hands to do what he had to do. Who was the last person MJF was looking up to? Who was the last person that humbled MJF?

“Me, The Jet. With that being said, it should have been me in the main event this past Sunday. But instead, I was in the back, watching from the sidelines, watching from the bench. Do I look like a bench player to y’all?”

Knight said he was a highlight every time he stepped in the ring. He’s not just here to take part; he’s here to take over the whole damn company. He put his trust in Allin because, when he first got here, Allin said, "Don’t waste any time." So when Knight saw Allin couldn’t do the job, Knight didn’t waste any time leaving him in a pool of his own blood with The Jet standing on top of him.

Knight’s partner, “Speedball” Mike Bailey, marched to the ring and told Knight to listen to what he was saying. He knows Knight. He knows how ambitious Knight is because it’s his best and worst quality. Bailey said they work so well as a team because they both want to be the best, but Knight gets ahead of himself and makes mistakes because he’s impatient. What Knight did to Allin at Double or Nothing was a mistake. Bailey said they can fix it if Knight apologizes and takes responsibility for what he did. Bailey put out his hand, but Knight just bumped him as he walked by, only to turn around and blast Bailey with the microphone immediately. Knight pulled Bailey off the mat and put him right back down with a sitout uranage.

Ricochet Has Plenty to Say Before Facing Jericho

Paquette asked whether Jericho had the momentum heading into this match after winning Stadium Stampede. Ricochet said he wasn’t worried about it, and Bishop Kaun said Jericho didn’t beat him because it was a 7-on-1 mugging. Ricochet agreed and wondered why everyone was banned from ringside. Toa Liona called it a travesty. Ricochet said it’s not about him not having his guys, it’s about Jericho not having six guys to back him up. He’s already pinned Jericho twice now.

“That’s something he doesn’t have over me and never, eeeeever will!”

Liona chimed in to add, “Especially with that weak-ass Lionsault!”

Ricochet said Jericho will find out what everyone else knows: that he is out of this world!

Everyone Banned From Ringside: Jericho def. Ricochet

Jericho encouraged the loud “BALD!” chants from the crowd at the bell, so Ricochet flew across the ring with a dropkick that sent Jericho down to the corner. He followed with another running dropkick and stayed on him with chops and kicks. Taz believed Jericho may have been masking a knee injury from Stadium Stampede. Ricochet threw Jericho to the floor and landed on him with a crossbody. Ricochet continued by slamming Jericho’s back into the barricade and throwing him back into the ring. Ricochet waited for Jericho to rise and took him down with a springboard clothesline. Ricochet hit a running shooting star press and covered Jericho for a two-count. Jericho worked Ricochet into the corner and targeted Jericho’s lower leg. Ricochet hit a running gutshot and went to the apron, but Jericho cut him off with a punch that sent Ricochet to the floor. Jericho jumped off the top with a crossbody to Ricochet on the floor!

Jericho took the top off the commentary desk and cleared it off, which gave Ricochet the chance to rake Jericho’s eyes. He sent Jericho knee-first into the table with a front suplex. Ricochet stood Jericho up, so Jericho tripped Ricochet into a Walls of Jericho! Jericho locked in the painful submission for as long as he could without risking a countout. Jericho and Ricochet fought on the apron with Ricochet hitting a series of kicks before sweeping out Jericho’s legs to send him into the corner of the ring. Ricochet ran Jericho into the steel steps, as the game plan of attacking the injured leg was clear.

Ricochet’s offense remained focused on Jericho’s weakened limb until Jericho hit a desperation Death Valley Driver to Ricochet on the apron! Back in the ring, the two chopped each other as they rose to their feet. That turned into a trade of strikes, but Jericho got the advantage with a double sledge from the top rope. Jericho put Ricochet on the mat with a bulldog and tried a springboard, which Ricochet was ready for, so Jericho adjusted and caught Ricochet with a back elbow. Jericho hit Ricochet with a brainbuster! Jericho is digging deep tonight! Ricochet kicked out in the nick of time.

Jericho lined up a Judas Effect, so Ricochet rolled to the apron. Jericho went to follow, but Ricochet pulled Jericho over the top to the floor. When Jericho got back up, Ricochet blasted him back to the floor with a dropkick. Ricochet flew through the ropes with a dive that was right on target, and Jericho was in trouble. As Jericho struggled to get up, Ricochet once again flew over the ropes with a twisting body press that clobbered Jericho. That wasn’t enough for Ricochet, so he picked Jericho back up for a brainbuster and dropped him on the ramp! Jericho did everything he could to pull himself into the ring before getting counted out, but as he entered, Ricochet hurled himself through the air with a springboard Phoenix Splash! 1-2-Jericho kicked out!

Jericho ducked under a Spirit Gun and turned Ricochet over into the Walls of Jericho! Ricochet finally punched his way free by going after Jericho’s bad knee. Jericho hit a clothesline that didn’t have much on it, but when he tried a Judas Effect, Ricochet rolled him up for a near-fall. Jericho went to hit Ricochet, who ducked, so Jericho had to pull up before he hit the referee. Ricochet took that opportunity to hit Jericho with a low blow! Ricochet hit a Ricosault and thought it was over, but Jericho kicked out to keep the match alive! Ricochet was stunned, but gathered himself and tried a 630 Splash, but Jericho moved! WOW! Jericho hit a Codebreaker, but this time, Ricochet kicked out! Jericho connected on a Judas Effect, but opted not to cover and hit a Lionsault on Ricochet to get the pinfall victory!

As Jericho celebrated, “Psycho Killer” Tommaso Ciampa appeared behind Jericho and attacked him! He stomped Jericho to the mat and choked him with a shirt. Ciampa continued the vicious assault with a barrage of punches. As Jericho tried to get to his feet, Ciampa laid him out with a Bicycle Knee!

Andrade El Ídolo Has a Message for AEW World Champion MJF

Andrade said that now that the “stupid” Stadium Stampede is over, he can focus on winning the AEW World Title from the “stupid” MJF. He asked MJF if he thought he was better than a “Real Latino Man?”

“How you know?”

Superstation Showcase 4-Way: La Facción Ingobernable's RUSH def. "Blackheart" Lio Rush, Don Callis Family's Brian Cage, AEW World Trios Champion Orange Cassidy

Cage and RUSH threw Lio and OC to the outside so they could focus on each other. Cage took RUSH down with a body-scissors, but RUSH got back up and dropped Cage with a forearm. Cage came back with a big shot of his own to knock RUSH down. RUSH hit a rebound German Suplex, but Cage came right back with a Samoan Drop. Lio and OC both went for covers to no avail.

Cassidy didn’t know what to make of Lio, so he threw his normal kick from a more cautious distance. Lio and Cassidy kept chasing each other until Cassidy got his hands in his pockets and put Lio down with a dropkick. Cassidy ran for a dive, but Lio came up to the apron with a handstand kick. Cage tried to powerbomb Lio, but Lio reversed it into a hurricanrana. Lio galloped around the ring and dove at Cage, who caught Lio in a suplex, which Cassidy knocked over with a dive! RUSH faked the crowd out by teasing a dive and dropping down to pose.

As the action continued, Cage and Cassidy fought on the top rope, where a big shot from Cassidy knocked down Cage. Cassidy dropped a cautious elbow on Cage for a one-count. Cage kicked Cassidy on the apron and brought him back in the hard way with a vertical superplex. RUSH broke up the pin with a dropkick, but Cage came back with a jumping knee and a powerslam. Lio broke that up, but Cage quickly put Lio down with a Falcon Arrow! Lio kicked out at two! Cage threw Lio away and caught Cassidy from the top rope, but Cassidy hit a Stundog Millionaire and a spinning DDT for a near-fall. Cage went to the floor, so Cassidy came through with a tornado DDT! Before he could do anything else, Lance Archer and Rocky Romero appeared at the apron. Archer blocked an Orange Punch, so Cassidy kicked Romero and hit an Orange Punch on Archer on his second try! JAKE DOYLE attacked Cassidy from behind out of nowhere, but barely had a chance to celebrate his return before Roderick Strong came flying in to go after Doyle!

Doyle and Strong fought up the aisle, and Archer carried Cassidy to the back. Back in the ring, Lio hit a low Stunner and a short-range spear for a near-fall! Lio went to the top and tried a frog splash, but RUSH avoided it and connected with a big right hand. RUSH took Lio to the floor and ran him from one barricade to another and then choked him with a cord! He stomped Lio into the corner and called for The Horns, which connected with a pair of boots to Lio’s face. RUSH covered and won the Superstation Showcase!

Kevin Knight Confronts MJF; Kyle Fletcher Confronts Knight!

Renee Paquette tried to get a word with MJF, who walked in dragging the AEW World Championship on the ground while carrying his version of the title, The Triple B. Before MJF could say anything, Knight entered, and MJF greeted him warmly. He said he wanted to thank Knight for doing what he did because he wanted to show respect to MJF as the new AEW World Champion. He said Knight had a bright future and was about to leave, but Knight stopped him. Knight said he didn’t do that for MJF; he did it because Allin blew it. One day, he will beat MJF for that AEW World Title. MJF told Knight that goals are good and walked away.

As Knight turned around, he found himself face-to-face with former TNT Champion “The Protostar” Kyle Fletcher! Fletcher looked at the TNT Title over Knight’s shoulder and said it was a nice belt. Don Callis came in and pointed out how much young talent was in one place. He said if Knight wanted to be Jet2Belts, he should call him.

Mark Briscoe Was Born to Fly!

Mark Briscoe was happy to be back with The Conglomeration and celebrating 26 years in pro wrestling, which is way more than half of his life. He prides himself on being an iron man and not taking days off. He hears his brother Jay's voice, who says Mark was born to fly!

The Brawling Birds Promise to Come Out on Top

Renee Paquette caught up with Jamie Hayter and Alex Windsor, and asked Hayter about her unsuccessful challenge for the AEW Women’s World Championship at Double or Nothing. Hayter said it wasn’t all bad because she got to knock Thekla’s head (figuratively) off, and next time, she will take that title. Paquette asked Windsor about Willow Nightingale pulling out of the tournament due to injury and now facing a wild card. Windsor sent her best wishes to Willow and has been preparing for this her entire career. When it comes to being the best in the world, Windsor is part of that conversation! That path she is walking ends at her home. And she’s walking that path with her husband, Will Ospreay, as they are both chasing their Wembley dreams. Windsor said the wild card better have some skin in the game because she has her whole heart in it! Hayter said one way or another, the Birds will come out on top!

AEW World Champion MJF’s Celebration Cut Short by Mark Briscoe … and RUSH!

To begin the celebration of his third AEW World Title reign, MJF was carried out on a throne by four men before jumping down to pose in front of a rain of pyro. Before MJF got in the ring, he dropped the standard AEW World Championship belt in a garbage can! He insulted the Philly crowd and showed that his Triple B AEW World Title was back around his waist. He said Darby Allin is not here because he’s hanging his head in shame after MJF beat him for the third time with a headlock takeover.

Did he say three times? Only eight men have been three-time world champions by 30 years of age. They will be writing about him in the history books until the sun explodes. MJF hopes the dumb, ignorant, worthless schmucks are even remotely cognizant of how fortunate they are to get to witness the greatness of MJF in real time. He’s the best wrestler in the world. The most complete wrestler in the world. Number one and ain’t nobody close. He wanted everyone watching at home and in the arena to get down on their hands and knees and bow before the greatest of all time! A flag dropped to commemorate MJF’s 3x World Champion achievement, but that celebration was cut short by the music of Mark Briscoe!

Briscoe made it down to ringside and pulled the flag down to the ground! MJF demanded that the music be cut as Briscoe got in the ring. Briscoe said seeing MJF in Philadelphia is like seeing a stranger in a strange place. He doesn’t fit in here.

“It’s like if a penguin were wandering through the desert, and I’m not talking about one of those exotic South American beach penguins!”

Briscoe reminded MJF that they are here in Philly, where some of the toughest human beings on the planet live, and MJF sticks out like a sore thumb because tough he is not. MJF is so self-absorbed and believes that he’s above all of us. Briscoe reminded MJF that it wasn’t too long ago that he pinned MJF’s “sorry ass” in the middle of the ring. Briscoe said he doesn’t want to beat around the bush because he wants a title shot!

“Now, are you gonna continue to be a soft little bitch…or are you gonna MAN UP?”

MJF thought about it and said no. He wasn’t saying no because Briscoe ruined his new flag. He was saying no because All Elite Wrestling isn’t just a sport, it’s a business. It’s bad enough that the “emo freak” Darby Allin sniffed the AEW World Title, but if Briscoe challenges for the title, it’ll probably put the company out of business.

“Listen, there are levels to this s*** and unfortunately, you white-trash, hillbilly, redneck, you are nowhere near on the level of The Devil.”

MJF exited up the ramp, and as he backed up, RUSH came out and went right over to MJF. He said MJF is not a fighting champion. And it’s too funny that Mark Briscoe is a chicken farmer, but MJF is a chicken s***!

RUSH said he fought MJF before and almost beat him, but he’s ready to take the title! Because when you mess with the bull, you get the horns! MJF asked RUSH if he thought he was cool because he cracked jokes and was bilingual. MJF said even though RUSH insulted him, he agreed RUSH deserved a shot at the AEW World Title. He’s been on a roll, he’s got a good look, and he’s got a catchphrase the people say. He’s more marketable than that freak in the ring. MJF asked RUSH if he wanted to face him for the AEW World Title tonight? SIKE. Next week, MJF vs. RUSH for the AEW World Championship and RUSH better be prepared.

“Because The Bull is about to lock horns with The Devil!”

Jack Perry Trains in Philly Before Tonight’s Owen Cup Match

From the Jurassic Express, Jack Perry said he and Mark Davis have had their battles, but now the stakes are higher than they’ve ever been! The National Title Tour may be over, but this might just be the beginning of Jack’s Perry World Championship Tour! As Perry tried to sign off, Luchasaurus stopped the Jurassic Express and pointed out the door. Perry pushed back, saying he had a match today, but eventually got out and looked up at the famous steps at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. We were treated to a familiar training montage of Luchasaurus taking Perry through the paces throughout Philadelphia.

Owen Hart Foundation Men's Tournament Quarterfinal: Brody King def. Death Riders' Claudio Castagnoli

These two familiar opponents had a feeling-out phase around the ring with a couple of shots here and there until Castagnoli stopped King with chops. Castagnoli returned fire with forearms, as King came back with big strikes of his own. King stopped the festivities by sending Castagnoli over the top to the floor with a clothesline! Castagnoli decided against returning to the ring, so King went out to deliver more chops and took Castagnoli down. What a hot start to this Owen Cup matchup!

The two continued to focus on outstriking each other until they collided in the middle of the ring with lariats. Castagnoli fought King to the corner and unloaded with uppercuts! King came back with elbows and chops across the ring, so Castagnoli answered with an uppercut. King knocked Castagnoli back to the corner and down to the mat. King crushed Castagnoli with a cannonball. Castagnoli rolled to the floor, so King tried to dive through the ropes, but was met by a jumping uppercut! Castagnoli hit a discus uppercut, but King backdropped Castagnoli out of a Neutralizer attempt. King looked for a Gonzo Bomb, but Castagnoli got out of it and tried a springboard uppercut only to fly right into an elbow strike! King bounced into a pop-up uppercut, but fought through it and used a massive lariat to drop Castagnoli! King covered and got the win! He’ll move on to face Swerve Strickland in the semifinals!

The Dogs Ruin New AEW World Tag Team Champions Adam Copeland & Christian Cage’s 5 Second Pose

Before Cage & Cope could say anything, they got a huge round of “YOU DESERVE IT!” chants. Cage told the crowd to sit down and shut up because he had something to say. Cope cut him off and asked if he had just heard them. Cage wondered what he did that was so wrong. It’s not like he banged anyone’s mother. Or maybe he did? He went on to heap praise on FTR, saying they were the toughest and greatest team they’ve ever faced. They are Top Guys, but not the tippy top!

Cope said FTR agreed to an “I Quit” match with two guys who were forced to retire and came back! So now with FTR in the rearview mirror, it’s time to have some fun.

“So for the benefit of those with flash photography, we will hit a 5-second pose!”

Cage said he’s not doing that. Cope asked Philly if that’s what they wanted. Cage said they don’t even do flash photography anymore. Cope said that’s where he’s wrong.

He dove under the ring and pulled out a bag and dumped out a bunch of old disposable cameras! “You see, about 20 years ago, I went to the store, and I bought a bunch of these, just for this scenario! OK, disposable camera, who wants one?” Cope gave out instructions on how to use them and ran around the ringside handing out the cameras. Cope got back in the ring and said, “For the benefit of those…”

David Finlay and Clark Connors attacked Cage and Cope from behind! They knocked Cope to the ground with a shillelagh and brought Cage to the floor, where Finlay smashed Cage’s still-injured arm against the steel steps, then trapped the arm under the steps so Connors could run down the apron and jump on the steps! That may have shattered Cage’s arm! They threw Cage back in the ring, and Finlay blasted him with the shillelagh. Finlay picked up Cope and held him so Connors could hit a spear! They grabbed a cameraman on the outside and told him he was going to take a very special picture. Connors said, “The Dogs present a new five-second pose, and we call this one ‘The Next AEW Tag Team Champions!’”

The Dogs mocked Cope and Cage with some of the poses from earlier in their careers.

Swerve Strickland Sounds Off on Semifinals Opponent Brody King

Prince Nana brought a camera into Swerve’s locker room and asked if everyone saw what they did to Bandido at Double or Nothing. Of course they did, millions of people saw it across the PPV and social media. Swerve congratulated Brody King on winning tonight, but said he was the one who broke King out in this industry. He doesn’t even know how Bandido is doing in that hospital back in New York. Swerve likes that conflict creates cash and war creates money, so he’s going to make a lot of money with King. WHOSE HOUSE?

Tag Team Match: TayJay (Tay Melo & Anna Jay) def. Ava Everett & Allie Katch

Jay took Everett down with a hook kick and flying back elbow. Melo tagged in and threw Jay into a spin kick in the corner and followed with a big strike of her own. Everett hit a jawbreaker, so Melo answered with a strike. Katch tagged in and walked right into a pump kick. Jay tagged in for a neckbreaker, and Melo followed with a knee to the face! Jay dropped Katch onto a rising knee from Melo and covered Katch for the pinfall victory!

"Speedball" Mike Bailey Challenges “The Jet” Kevin Knight

Bailey said Knight made his choice and attacked him, so if that’s how they are going down, they can go down on opposite sides. Bailey said they should go one-on-one, and if Knight wants to show the world how he really is, they’ll see how that goes.

Owen Hart Foundation Men's Tournament Quarterfinal: AEW National Champion Mark Davis def. "Jungle" Jack Perry

Davis came out with an eyepatch, still feeling the effects of going through Stadium Stampede at Double or Nothing. Davis attacked Perry while he was still on the turnbuckles. He followed with a bodyslam and senton splash. Perry fought back and took Davis’ eyepatch so that he could put it on himself! Davis shoulder-blocked Perry to the mat, but Perry came back with a dropkick to take Davis to the outside. Perry hit two suicide dives and a somersault dive to take Davis down on the floor!

The two fought into the crowd and back into the ringside area, where Davis chopped Perry back into the ring. He continued to punish Perry in the corner as Perry fought back, but Davis kept overwhelming him with lariats. Davis knocked Perry off the apron and into the barricade. Davis sat on the turnbuckles while the referee counted Perry out. He beat the count in time, but Davis tried to flatten him with a senton, so Perry moved. They fought on the apron and traded reversals until Perry hit a diving hurricanrana that took Davis to the floor. He immediately followed with a moonsault from the top to the floor and threw Davis back in the ring to hit another moonsault press from the top, but Davis was able to kick out.

Davis bodyslammed Perry, but landed on Perry’s knees on a senton attempt. Perry jumped off Davis’ back with a senton of his own, and again, Davis kicked out. Perry sent Davis outside and slid out to meet him, but Davis caught him around the waist, so Perry adjusted his momentum into a bulldog! On the apron, Davis clotheslined Perry back into the ring and pulled him back to the apron for a release vertical suplex! Perry was in dire straits!

Perry lost both of his shoes, and Davis continued to punish him in the corner. Davis pulled Perry up to the top turnbuckle, but Perry fought him off and locked in a guillotine! With Davis out, Perry yanked him down to the mat with a DDT! Perry hit Davis with a couple of quick strikes and a Sliced Bread #2 for a near-fall! Davis backdropped Perry away and hit an enzuigiri. Davis came back with a hurricanrana, but Davis countered it into a pin attempt, and Perry reversed it right back for a two-count. Perry muscled up Davis for a stump piledriver and hit it! Davis kicked out!

Perry locked in the Snare Trap, but Davis made it to the ropes. Davis intercepted Perry’s running knee and bounced Perry off the ropes for a rebound clothesline. Perry kicked out! Perry punched Davis into the corner and followed with chops, but Davis stopped that quickly and tried to pull Perry up to the top turnbuckle. Perry slipped without his shoes, and Davis nailed an avalanche piledriver to get the pinfall victory! Davis advances to the semifinals to face Will Ospreay.

Kyle Fletcher Confronted by NEW AEW International Champion Konosuke Takeshita!

As the Collision hour officially began, Renee Paquette interviewed Don Callis and Mark Davis in the ring. Callis said Davis will put Ospreay on the shelf next week. He said Ospreay thought he was the chosen one in the Don Callis Family, just like Konosuke Takeshita thought he was the chosen one, but the only chosen one is “KYLE BY GOD FLETCHER!”

Fletcher and Rocky Romero made their way to the ring, and Fletcher asked Callis for “some sugar,” so they hugged. Fletcher said the reason he was able to come back so quickly from injury is that he’s a physical anomaly, and as of today, he was fully medically cleared. He was driven to come back to cut loose the dead weight of the Don Callis Family. Fletcher has been trying to hold this family together while Takeshita has been driving a wedge between them. And as soon as Fletcher was gone, Takeshita did what was best for him. Fletcher said Takeshita never called about The Family and never cared about Fletcher. He wanted to take over the wrestling world together, but that will never happen because Takeshita is a “selfish prick!”

Takeshita took the stage, backed by The Conglomeration. They all marched to the ring, so Fletcher, Romero, Callis and Davis bailed. Takeshita said he has the AEW International Championship back, and he wants Kyle Fletcher!

Will Ospreay Won’t Be Stopped by Mark Davis

Before heading out for the next match, Ospreay addressed Davis’ win to make him Ospreay’s opponent in the Owen Cup semifinals. Ospreay said no one has ever beaten him by doctor’s stoppage, but when Davis did that, Ospreay wasn’t fully healthy, and now he is! Moxley stepped in with the Death Riders, as it was time for the next match. Ospreay exchanged fist bumps with the Death Riders, except PAC, who ignored him.

Trios Match: Will Ospreay & Death Riders (AEW Continental Champion Jon Moxley and "The Bastard" PAC) def. The Rascalz (Zachary Wentz, Dezmond Xavier and Myron Reed)

Moxley and PAC attacked from behind to kick-start the match, although Ospreay didn’t follow suit. He wound up alone with Xavier, and after handling a flurry of offense from Xavier, Ospreay used a stiff kick to the gut to stop Xavier’s momentum. Ospreay hit a barrage of quick kicks and received a tag on the back from PAC. PAC quickly brought in Moxley, who ate a bunch of strikes from Wentz and then dropped him with a back elbow. Ospreay tagged in and wound up in the wrong corner, which left him all alone for the lightning-fast triple-team offense of the Rascalz. Wentz and Reed flew to the outside to take out Moxley and PAC, and the Death Riders were on the defensive!

Ospreay couldn’t get to his corner to make a tag for several minutes, as the Rascalz cut off the ring. Finally, Ospreay hit a twisting body double boot to get free. He hesitated but finally tagged PAC, who unloaded on all three members of the Rascalz! He nailed Wentz with a boot in the corner and threw Xavier out of the same corner with a German Suplex. He grabbed Reed on the other side for a release belly-to-belly onto Wentz in the corner. PAC covered Reed for a two-count.

Moxley tagged in, and PAC and Ospreay followed his lead with the conveyor belt attacks in the corner. PAC and Ospreay threw Reed into Moxley for a cutter! PAC and Ospreay flew over the top with stereo dives onto Xavier and Wentz. Moxley hit Reed with a piledriver, but Reed kicked out at two. Reed rolled into a pin attempt that surprised Moxley, but only got a two. Reed ducked a lariat and came back with a short-range Stunner. Reed charged at Moxley in the corner, but Moxley was ready and fired out with a lariat. He held Reed for Ospreay, who came off the top with a stomp to Reed’s arm. Ospreay put Reed down with La Magistral. Ospreay flipped Xavier into PAC, who locked on the Brutalizer. Moxley trapped Wentz in a choke in the corner, so Ospreay put Death Ground on Reed for an immediate tap-out victory! Moxley AND PAC both slapped hands with Ospreay after the win.

Samoa Joe Must Take a Few Months Away from The Opps

Samoa Joe said he has to admit, this hasn’t been the best week for the organization, but they will continue to stand in opposition to those who stand in their way. And they provide opportunities for men who deserve them. HOOK just finished his latest movie. Katsuyori Shibata owns the hottest pachinko chain. And soon, Anthony Bowens will get the standing ovation he deserves. Joe said opportunity calls, and Hollywood is ringing, so he is stepping away for a few months. They know how this works, and he expects them to hold it down. As Joe walked away, HOOK stepped in front of Bowens in what appeared to be a show of power.

Divine Dominion Take Out TayJay!

While Lexy Nair was looking to get a word with Tay Melo and Anna Jay after their victory earlier in the night, she ran into the AEW Women’s World Tag Team Champions, Divine Dominion. Lena Kross said, “That only lasted 30 seconds.” And Megan Bayne added, “Better luck next time.” As they walked away, Nair found TayJay beaten and bruised just a few feet away.

Don Callis Family's Andrade El Ídolo def. Bang Bang Gang's Ace Austin

Austin seemed to frustrate Andrade in the early going, but perhaps Andrade was just toying with Austin, as he posed in the ropes to slow the pace down. Andrade continued to wear Austin down, overwhelming the Bang Bang Gang member. Austin fought back with a few strikes out of the corner that appeared to anger Andrade, and followed with a boot out of the corner. When Austin tried to shift himself from the apron to the ring, Andrade violently shoved him over the top rope, which caused Austin to hit the back of his head on the ring apron! Andrade hit a springboard tornillo from inside the ring to the floor! He took the opportunity to take a selfie with a fan, who even got escorted from Andrade back to her seat!

Back in the ring, Andrade took too much time going for Three Amigos, so Austin was able to escape and crack Andrade with a nasty knee strike. Austin kept the offense up with a leaping legdrop and picked up Andrade for a fireman’s carry squat, but Andrade pulled Austin into the corner. Austin hit some back elbows, but then ran into a boot from Andrade, who put himself on the top turnbuckle. Austin came right back with a step-up kick to Andrade’s head that rocked him! Austin ran down the ring and brought Andrade back in the right with a tijeras! Austin did the squat again, finishing it with a Death Valley Driver. He covered Andrade for a two-count. Austin carried Andrade up to the second turnbuckle until Andrade elbowed free and powerbombed Austin out of the corner.

With Austin down in the opposite corner, Andrade tried the running double knee strike, but Austin moved! Austin hit a gamengiri and called for The Fold, but Andrade was ready for it with a pinpoint back elbow strike! He finished Austin off with The DM to get the pinfall victory!

Lights Out Philly Street Fight: Kris Statlander def. Hikaru Shida

Shida swung her kendo stick at Statlander right at the bell and missed twice. Statlander took Shida down and unloaded with punches. Shida rolled over and returned with punches of her own. Statlander sent Shida to the floor, so Statlander came off the apron to continue her attack. She chopped Shida against the ring post and threw her back into the ring.

Statlander brought a chair into the ring, but Shida got it first and threw it into Statlander’s midsection. Shida put the chair on the top turnbuckle and turned around into a shoulder block from Statlander. Statlander used a slingshot to send Shida into the chair! Statlander whipped Shida to the opposite side, and she appeared to be shaken up. Statlander followed with a running elbow, but when she went for another, Shida lit Statlander up with her kendo stick. She knocked Statlander to the floor and beat her up along the barricade before mockingly shadow boxing. Shida got an apple from somewhere and used it to enhance a barrage of strikes! Shida put the apple in Statlander’s mouth and kicked her in the face!

Shida went up to the apron, so Statlander came up with a strike to stun her and then powerbombed Shida off the apron! Statlander and Shida battled up the aisle and behind the entrance curtain. Statlander set up a metal guard rail on the ground to go for a suplex, but Shida turned it around and suplexed Statlander on the unforgiving steel!

Shida paid tribute to the Superstation’s professional wrestling history by pulling out a bicycle to throw at Statlander as a weapon! The fight moved back into the ring, where Shida suplexed Statlander into a chair wedged in the corner. Shida put a chair on the apron and laid Statlander over it to hit a running knee strike for added impact! Shida threw chairs in the ring, but Statlander met her on the turnbuckles and superplexed Shida onto the chairs! Both women felt that one!

Shida had her kendo stick, and Statlander had a chair as they began a duel, which Statlander won by knocking the stick away. Statlander smashed the chair over Shida’s back and delivered a spinning fisherman’s buster to get a near-fall. Statlander threw Shida on top of some chairs to go for a moonsault from the top, but Shida missed, and Statlander hit all steel! Shida came off the top with a meteora onto the chairs, but this time, it was Statlander who kicked out just in time! Shida and Stat traded strikes, which turned into huge kicks to the head. Shida nailed Stat with a Falcon Arrow, but Statlander sprang out of the pin attempt and back to her feet! Statlander chucked a chair at Shida’s head, which knocked her to the floor.

Statlander set up a table in front of the commentary desk, while Shida made a tower of chairs on the opposite side. Statlander came rushing around, so Shida dropped her face-first onto the chairs! Shida set up four chairs, but Statlander turned things around and dropped Shida across the chairs with a Death Valley Driver! Statlander pulled a bundle of light tubes from under the ring, but Shida pleaded for Statlander not to use them. Statlander put the light tubes on the apron, which gave Shida the chance to gouge Statlander’s eye and nail her with a jumping knee! Back in the ring, Shida hit a Kitana to the side of Statlander's head and grabbed light tubes to smash over Statlander’s back! Shida put Statlander into the remnants of the light tubes with a Falcon Arrow! Statlander kicked out! Shida was shocked! As Statlander bled from the back, Shida smashed her repeatedly with the kendo stick.

Shida put a chair over Statlander on the ropes, but when Shida rushed at her, Statlander threw the chair at Shida! They fought on the apron, but when Shida tried to use the kendo stick, Stat caught it and broke it in half! She used the broken kendo stick and dug it into Shida’s head! Statlander picked up Shida and put her through the table with a Staturday Night Fever from the apron! Statlander threw Shida back in the ring, but Harley Cameron came out to hand Statlander another kendo stick to encourage Stat to finish the job. Statlander used the kendo stick across Shida’s back and hit another Staturday Night Fever in the light tube shards! Statlander covered Shida and got the three-count to win the Lights Out Philly Street Fight! What a way to close out the night!
