AEW Dynamite storms into the legendary 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, tonight at 8 p.m. ET / 7 p.m. CT on TBS and streaming on HBO Max.
Following the incredible spectacle of AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door in London, including the unforgettable and chaotic Lights Out Steel Cage Match, AEW Dynamite features a Falls Count Anywhere showdown between Darby Allin and Claudio Castagnoli. Plus, Jon Moxley is back in action against Daniel Garcia, and the women's division heats up as Megan Bayne and Penelope Ford face Harley Cameron and Kris Statlander in tag team action.
Here’s your complete AEW Dynamite preview for Wednesday, August 27, 2025.
Falls Count Anywhere Match: Darby Allin vs. Claudio Castagnoli
Darby Allin has been a man possessed since returning from Mount Everest. He’s thrown himself headfirst – sometimes, quite literally – into the war with the Death Riders, hellbent on dismantling the violent ensemble piece by piece.Â
At Forbidden Door, Darby took part in the chaotic Lights Out Steel Cage Match and emerged battered but unbroken. Now, just days removed from that grueling battle and its savage aftermath, Darby looks to keep pushing forward, this time in a Falls Count Anywhere Match against the Death Riders’ Claudio Castagnoli.Â
With no countouts and no disqualifications, the entire 2300 Arena becomes a battleground as Darby risks it all to exact revenge. It should be a fitting fight for such an incredible setting!
We'll Hear from AEW World Champion "Hangman" Adam Page
After successfully retaining his AEW World Championship at Forbidden Door, what's next for Hangman Page? Find out when he speaks to the live crowd at the 2300 Arena tonight in Philadelphia!
Mercedes Moné Championship Celebration
After emerging victorious from the International TBS Championship 4-Way at Forbidden Door, 9 Belts Moné is going to party it up int he 2300 Arena live tonight!
All Star 8-Man Tag Match: JetSpeed (Kevin Knight and "Speedball" Mike Bailey) & AEW World Tag Team Champions Brodido (ROH World Champion Bandido and Brody King) vs. the Don Callis Family (AEW Unified Champion Kazuchika Okada, Hechicero, Konosuke Takeshia and Josh Alexander)
The new AEW World Tag Team Champions, Brodido, will team with the ever-popular duo of JetSpeed to face the Don Callis Family -- a family that added a new member in the formidable Wardlow at Forbidden Door this past weekend.
Jon Moxley vs. Daniel Garcia
Jon Moxley left Will Ospreay sidelined after a brutal attack in the final moments of Forbidden Door, having survived the war in his own right, even if his team was on the wrong side of the outcome. There’s no time to rest for the 4-time former AEW World Champion, as Daniel Garcia is stepping up for a fight.
The former TNT Champion didn’t compete at Forbidden Door himself, but he was ringside for Zack Sabre Jr. during Sabre’s dream bout with Nigel McGuinness. Tonight, Garcia goes head-to-head with one of the most dangerous men in AEW, the battle-hardened Moxley.
Megan Bayne & Penelope Ford vs. Harley Cameron & Kris Statlander
The aftershocks of Sunday’s All-Star 8-Woman Tag Team Match in London will continue to ripple across Philadelphia tonight, as these four incredible competitors step into the ring for a more traditional tag match of their own.
Megan Bayne and Penelope Ford, an incredibly formidable duo that has consistently made their mark on AEW over the past several months, join forces once again to take on the unpredictable Harley Cameron and the powerful Kris Statlander, whose growing friendship has them tagging together on Wednesday.Â
With rivalries deepening and animosity growing, this tag team clash could help shape the next wave of developments in AEW’s women’s division.
We'll Hear from FTR & Stokely
Dax Harwood, Cash Wheeler and Big Stoke did not leave Forbidden Door with the AEW World Tag Team Championship. We'll find out what's next for the living legends on Dynamite tonight!
Catch all this and more on tonight’s AEW Dynamite from the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia!
