AEW Full Gear is quickly approaching on November 22, and tonight will bring multiple championship matches into focus, thanks to two Fright Night 4-Way Fights. We’ll also find out Brodido’s challengers for the AEW World Tag Team Titles at Full Gear when FTR, the Young Bucks, JetSpeed and Jurassic Express face off in another Fright Night 4-Way Fight!
Plus, the AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championship Tournament kicks off with quarterfinal action, as Jamie Hayter and Queen Aminata face Julia Hart and Skye Blue of Triangle of Madness! And with tension mounting between AEW Unified Champion “The Rainmaker” Kazuchika Okada and IWGP World Heavyweight Champion “The Alpha” Konosuke Takeshita, Don Callis wants to prove all is well, so he’s called the first Don Callis Family Summit. All that and more is tonight on Dynamite!
Here’s your complete AEW Dynamite preview for October 29, 2025.
AEW Dynamite Matches, Preview for Wednesday, October 29
Fright Night 4-Way Fight (Winner Faces AEW World Champion “Hangman” Adam Page at Full Gear): Bobby Lashley vs. Ricochet vs. Samoa Joe vs. HOOK
AEW World Champion “Hangman” Adam Page will find out who his Full Gear challenger will be as a result of this Fright Night 4-Way Fight!
Bobby Lashley and Ricochet have been embroiled in the rivalry between The Hurt Syndicate and The Demand, but tonight, they’ll each have a major opportunity to fight for their first singles gold in AEW. HOOK has also found success with his partnership alongside Eddie Kingston, and he’ll try to find his way to his first championship since retiring the FTW Title last September.
Then there’s Samoa Joe. He made it clear that as long as Page is champion, he will be on the hunt. On Collision, conversely, Page made it clear that he was the one doing the hunting and would ruin Joe’s entire life when he found him. How will this volatile situation affect the 4-Way with three other hungry competitors involved?
It’s a high-stakes showdown with a shot at the AEW World Championship waiting for the winner at Full Gear!
Fright Night 4-Way Fight (Winners Face AEW World Tag Team Champions Brodido at Full Gear): FTR (Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler) vs. Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson) vs. JetSpeed (“Speedball” Mike Bailey & “The Jet” Kevin Knight) vs. Jurassic Express (“Jungle” Jack Perry & Luchasaurus)
These four teams were just in action on Collision when JetSpeed and Jurassic Express beat FTR and the Young Bucks to win $400K in an All-Star 8-man Tag Match. Now, each team has a chance to earn a shot at the AEW World Tag Team Titles against Brodido at Full Gear on November 22.
While on the winning side over the weekend, JetSpeed is the only one of the four duos to never hold the AEW World Tag Team Championships. The Bucks might be cash-strapped, but they hold the record with three title reigns and would love the money that could come from a fourth.
FTR is the winningest team in AEW history, and they are clearly motivated to win the gold they haven’t possessed in over two years. Jurassic Express, meanwhile, has had the longest championship drought of the title-winning teams in this match, having not held the AEW World Tag Team Titles since they lost them to the Bucks in a ladder match and initially broke up as a team in June 2022.
Before any of these teams can think about winning the AEW World Tag Team Championships, though, they’ll have to go through each other in what should be a wild Fright Night 4-Way Fight tonight on Dynamite!
AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championship Tournament Quarterfinals: Jamie Hayter & Queen Aminata vs. Sisters of Sin (Julia Hart and Skye Blue)
The AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championship Tournament gets underway with a match that goes beyond becoming the first champions. Jamie Hayter and Queen Aminata won a 4-Way Match last week on Dynamite to pick their opponents in the opening round, so they chose Julia Hart and Skye Blue after months of dealing with constant attacks at the hands of Triangle of Madness.
Hayter and Aminata might be the hardest-hitting team in the tournament, united by their common enemies, but will the Sisters of Sin find extra motivation in being hand-selected by Hayter and Aminata? This quarterfinal matchup is a perfect way to begin the AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championship Tournament!
Jon Moxley vs. Kyle O’Reilly
These two went at it last week on Dynamite, but the match came to a disappointing end when Moxley assaulted the referee while caught in an ankle lock. O’Reilly gained a victory by disqualification, but nothing was settled.
Both men demanded a rematch, so they will fight to settle the score tonight on Dynamite. Is Mox still dealing with the ghosts of saying “I quit” to Darby Allin at WrestleDream? Can he avenge last week’s self-inflicted loss to O’Reilly?
Trick or Treat Tornado Tag Team Match: Darby Allin & Orange Cassidy vs. Daniel Garcia & Wheeler Yuta of the Death Riders
After The Conglomeration and Roderick Strong beat the Death Riders last week, PAC began a post-match attack that almost ended with Claudio Castagnoli launching Orange Cassidy from the ring through the announce desk. However, Darby Allin showed up with a bat to make the save and run off the Death Riders.
Tonight, Allin and Cassidy will come together to face Garcia and Yuta in a Trick or Treat Tornado Tag Team match, where everyone is legal at all times. The chaos between The Conglomeration and Death Riders continues on Fright Night Dynamite!
The Don Callis Family Summit
The Don Callis Family is a massive unit of genetically superior athletes who want to test each other from time to time. At least, that is the reason Don Callis is giving to explain the tension between AEW Unified Champion “The Rainmaker” Kazuchika Okada and IWGP World Heavyweight Champion “The Alpha” Konosuke Takeshita.
It was Okada who smiled when he dropped Takeshita with a Rainmaker by mistake during the AEW World Tag Team Championship Match against Brodido at WrestleDream. Then, after Okada beat Bandido on Dynamite last week, Takeshita made his way out to confront Okada – but he was cut off by TNT Champion Kyle Fletcher and Callis in the aisle as Okada smiled in the ring.
To prove everyone is on the same page, Callis called this Family Summit to take place tonight. Does Don have everything under control, or will Okada and Takeshita’s tension escalate into something more?
