It’s the final week of what’s been a wild residency at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, PA, and the action continues on a loaded edition of AEW Dynamite, TONIGHT at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT on TBS and streaming on HBO Max!
Following last week’s decimation at the hands of the Don Callis Family, AEW World Champion “Hangman” Adam Page will look to get a measure of retribution when he battles the man who made his AEW debut against Page, “The Walking Weapon” Josh Alexander. AEW Women’s World Champion “Timeless” Toni Storm has three opponents waiting for her at AEW All Out on September 20th, but after throwing out the challenge, she’ll take on Skye Blue of Triangle of Madness in a Street Fight tonight!
Riho returned to AEW last week to save Alex Windsor from a post-match attack by TBS Champion Mercedes Moné, so Moné has called on Riho’s mentor, Emi Sakura, to tag with her against Riho and Windsor in Philadelphia, all before Moné puts her TBS Championship on the line against Riho in Toronto at All Out! And speaking of All Out, we’ll get a preview of the six-man tag between Ricochet and GOA and The Hurt Syndicate on tonight’s Dynamite when Shelton Benjamin battles Ricochet one-on-one.
Here’s your complete AEW Dynamite preview for September 10, 2025.
AEW Dynamite Matches, Preview for Wednesday, September 10
$500K 10-Man Tag: AEW World Tag Team Champions Brodido (ROH World Champion Bandido and Brody King) & AEW World Trios Champions The Opps (Samoa Joe, Powerhouse Hobbs and Katsuyori Shibata) vs. The Death Riders (Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, and Wheeler Yuta) & the Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson)
How do you give 10 guys who already don’t like each other an even better reason to fight? Put $500K on the line for the winning side! Tonight, we’ll see champions unite, when AEW World Tag Team Champions Brodido and AEW World Trios Champions The Opps take on the Death Riders and the Young Bucks in a $500K 10-Man Tag!
The down-on-their-luck Young Bucks haven’t had much go their way since losing their EVP titles at All In, including losing to Brodido in the AEW World Tag Team Eliminator Tournament, so a win tonight could provide a much-needed financial windfall, as well a boost to their pride, which has been severely damaged.
The Opps and Death Riders have been battling for six months with no end in sight. Since winning the AEW World Trios Titles from Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta back in April, Samoa Joe, Powerhouse Hobbs and Katsuyori Shibata have taken up for anyone opposing the Death Riders, most recently Darby Allin. They came to his aid last week on AEW Dynamite, allowing Allin to drag Gabe Kidd away in a bodybag attached to a truck!
Considering all that history, this match is already a powder keg waiting to explode, so putting up a massive cash prize will only add to the hostilities. These teams of five fight for half a million dollars tonight in Philadelphia!
Grudge Match: AEW World Champion “Hangman” Adam Page vs. “The Walking Weapon” Josh Alexander of the Don Callis Family
AEW World Champion “Hangman” Adam Page has been the primary target of the Don Callis Family for weeks, and tonight, he’ll be dealing with the Family again when he faces “The Waking Weapon” Josh Alexander in a Grudge Match!
After last week’s Dynamite main event, TNT Champion Kyle Fletcher took aim at Page by putting him through a chair with his patented brainbuster, only to sink to even further depths by hitting the same move to Kenny Omega off the apron through a table on the floor.
With Omega out of commission, Fletcher and Alexander took to AEW Collision to gloat about their actions, with Fletcher challenging Page for the AEW World Championship at All Out and a fired-up Alexander saying he learned from his AEW debut loss to Hangman five months ago:
“You’re not the only one with a grudge. I’m running though your [expletive] for me and for my Family!”
With Fletcher’s challenge looming and Alexander trying to finish the job the Family started last week, can a wounded Hangman overcome the challenge? We’ll find out tonight, when Page and Alexander meet in a Grudge Match!
Street Fight: AEW Women’s World Champion “Timeless” Toni Storm vs. Skye Blue of Triangle of Madness
Triangle of Madness have been leaving a trail of destruction everywhere they go since officially forming two months ago. And on the last two editions of AEW Collision, Thekla, Julia Hart, and Skye Blue took aim at AEW Women’s World Champion “Timeless” Toni Storm.
This past Saturday, Storm, Interim ROH Women’s World TV Champion Mina Shirakawa, Kris Statlander, and Harley Cameron were victorious over Triangle of Madness and Megan Bayne, but the losing team immediately went on the attack. Just when it looked like Thekla would take out Storm with a spear for the second straight week, Jamie Hayter made the save.
Hayter has her own issues with Thekla, but a face-off between her and Storm drummed up memories of their past battles over the AEW Women’s World Championship. Storm then asked Hayter, Statlander, and Thekla if they wanted to “get nuts,” setting up a 4-Way for her title at All Out.
But before that title match at All Out, Storm has laid out a challenge for a Philly Street Fight, which Blue has accepted. The members of Triangle of Madness are ever present no matter what the stipulation, and Storm will certainly need a plan to counteract them here since there won’t be any rules to keep them from getting involved.
Just 10 days before she defends the AEW Women’s World Championship against three opponents, how will Storm handle this Street Fight – in Philadelphia, of all places?
Tag Team Match: TBS Champion Mercedes Moné & Emi Sakura vs. Alex Windsor & Riho
Riho made a surprise return on AEW Dynamite last week to save Alex Windsor from a further beatdown following her unsuccessful challenge for Mercedes Moné’s TBS Championship. And we would later find out that Riho would be The CEO’s next challenger at All Out.
On AEW Collision, Moné tried to play some mind games with Riho by revealing she reached out to Riho’s mentor, Emi Sakura, to learn even more about her future opponent and to acquire Sakura’s services to tag with Moné against Riho and Windsor tonight on AEW Dynamite.
One of Sakura’s last appearances in AEW was a loss to Moné for both the TBS Championship and NJPW Strong Women’s Championship last October on AEW Dynamite Title Tuesday, so they are familiar with each other as opponents. But how will they fare as partners? And can Riho keep the pressure on Moné before their TBS Championship match at All Out in 10 days?
Ricochet vs. Shelton Benjamin of The Hurt Syndicate
Before we see Ricochet and Shelton Benjamin on opposite sides of a Six-Man Tag Match at All Out Toronto on September 20th, they’ll do battle one-on-one tonight in Philadelphia.
Ever since GOA (Toa Liona and Bishop Kaun) and Ricochet cost The Hurt Syndicate the AEW World Tag Team Championship at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door, Ricochet has revealed more and more about his gripes with MVP, Bobby Lashley, and Benjamin. Initially, Ricochet indicated that being denied a spot in the Syndicate is what prompted the attack at Forbidden Door, but last week on AEW Dynamite, he added that his issues with the trio go back longer than their time in AEW. And with that, he put out the challenge for All Out – Ricochet and GOA vs. The Hurt Syndicate, which is now official.
We’ll get a preview of that massive matchup tonight when Benjamin steps up to represent the Syndicate against Ricochet one-on-one, although GOA, MVP, and Bobby Lashley could very well make their presence felt. With just 10 days until All Out Toronto, how will Ricochet and Benjamin try to gain an advantage for their respective sides?
