AEW September to Remember Matches, Preview for Wednesday, September 17

AEW World Championship Contract Signing for “Hangman” Adam Page vs. “The Protostar” Kyle Fletcher at All Out

Tonight, they make it official, as we’ll see a contract signing for the AEW World Championship match at All Out between AEW World Champion “Hangman” Adam Page and TBS Champion “The Protostar” Kyle Fletcher.

Hangman said he believes in Fletcher’s potential, but he has challenged the Protostar to prove he’s ready without the Don Callis Family by his side. Fletcher said he’d leave them behind and further prove that he won’t be like Page and lose his first AEW World Championship match at All Out. The contract gets signed tonight!

Jon Moxley vs. Roderick Strong

This past Saturday on Collision, Moxley tagged with Daniel Garcia for the first time with Garcia as a member of the Death Riders, taking on Garcia’s former friends and allies, Kyle O’Reilly and Roderick Strong of Paragon. A focused and aggressive Garcia had no problem taking it to Paragon and eventually tapped out O’Reilly with a Dragontamer to win the main event.

However, wherever Moxley has gone since All In, Darby Allin has followed – and this Saturday at All Out, those two men meet in a Coffin Match. That’s a lot for Moxley to think about, but first, he’ll have to face one of AEW’s greats one-on-one tonight at September to Remember!

AEW Unified Championship Eliminator Tournament: The Beast Mortos vs. Máscara Dorada

This past weekend on AEW Collision, AEW Unified Champion “The Rainmaker” Kazuchika Okada retained his championship against Michael Oku, and “The Alpha” Konosuke Takeshita defeated Anthony Bowens to join Okada in the AEW Unified Championship 3-Way this Saturday at All Out. Tonight, we’ll find out who joins them when The Beast Mortos battles Máscara Dorada at September to Remember.

This will be the first one-on-one meeting between the two, although they were on opposite sides of the Grand Prix Internacional 2025 Torneo Cibernetico Match featuring many other AEW and CMLL stars at the CMLL Grand Prix Internacional 2025.

The circumstances will be far different with a shot at the AEW Unified Championship on the line! Who will join the AEW Unified Champion Okada and Takeshita in the 3-Way at All Out?

No Holds Barred: “The Toxic Spider” Thekla vs. Queen Aminata

As mentioned above, on Saturday at All Out, “The Toxic Spider” Thekla joins Kris Statlander, Jamie Hayter, and champion “Timeless” Toni Storm in a 4-Way match for the AEW Women’s World Championship. However, Thekla can’t get ahead of herself, as she’ll once again face her fiercest rival, Queen Aminata – and with their violent history in mind, this match will be no holds barred!

There are plenty of combustible elements at play when this fierce rivalry between Thekla and Queen Aminata comes is reignited one-on-one tonight!

AEW World Tag Team Championship 4-Way Ladder Match Qualifier: Bang Bang Gang (Juice Robinson and Austin Gunn) vs. Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson)

With three spots up for grabs to face AEW World Tag Team Champions Brodido in a Ladder Match for the titles at All Out, we’ll see the Bang Bang Gang, Juice Robinson and Austin Gunn, try to end the recent good luck of the Young Bucks in a qualifying match.

Last week on Dynamite, Jon Moxley promised Matt and Nick Jackson the entire $500K purse if they showed up to win as his partners in the 10-man tag, and the Bucks came through. Now, the former EVPs and three-time AEW World Tag Team Champions are trying to get back to the gold for a record-setting fourth time. On the other side, the Bang Bang Gang remain supremely motivated despite setbacks of their own.

Who punches their tickets to All Out? The Bang Bang Gang and Young Bucks battle it out tonight!

AEW World Tag Team Championship 4-Way Ladder Match Qualifier: Hechicero and Josh Alexander of the Don Callis Family vs. Top Flight (Dante and Darius Martin)

With two members in the AEW Unified Championship 3-Way at All Out, this Saturday could be an even bigger night for the Don Callis Family if Hechicero and Josh Alexander qualify for the AEW World Tag Team Championship 4-Way Ladder Match.

That’s if they can ground Dante and Darius Martin, however. As members of SkyFlight, Dante and Darius are being given great tutelage from Christopher Daniels. Yet the lethal combination of Hechicero and Alexander is a tall task for any team to overcome.

Will the Family brutalize their way to All Out, or will Top Flight soar? We’ll find out tonight!

AEW World Tag Team Championship 4-Way Ladder Match Qualifier: Kip Sabian & Killswitch vs. JetSpeed (Kevin Knight and “Speedball” Mike Bailey)

Since losing to Adam Copeland and Christian Cage at Forbidden Door, Kip Sabian and Killswitch have been at odds with each other, with the former blaming the latter for the loss. Mother Wayne has had to step in on multiple occasions to keep the peace, as ROH World Television Champion Nick Wayne continues to recover from a broken foot.

Meanwhile, the combination of “Speedball” Mike Bailey and “The Jet” Kevin Knight has been amazing to watch since coming together, although they are still looking for their first championship gold. A spot at All Out is up for grabs between these two teams tonight in London, Ontario!

Bobby Lashley vs. Toa Liona

There was no way to stop Bobby Lashley and Toa Liona from brawling all over the 2300 Arena on Dynamite last week, so tonight, we’ll see them fight against each other one-on-one for the first time.

After last week’s show, an intense and assertive Liona made it clear he wants Lashley. How will this battle of behemoths go down days before The Hurt Syndicate takes on Ricochet and GOA in a trios match at All Out? We’ll see if the Canada Life Center can handle Lashley and Liona!

Riho vs. Robyn Renegade

This Saturday at All Out, former AEW Women’s World Champion Riho challenges TBS Champion Mercedes Moné, but tonight, she’ll have her hands full with Robyn Renegade, who herself faced Moné but came up short on AEW Collision back in March.

Last week on AEW Dynamite, Moné teamed with Riho’s mentor, Emi Sakura. However, Riho wasn’t deterred and tapped Sakura out with a single-leg crab to earn the victory for her team. Can she maintain the momentum heading into her big match against The CEO this weekend?

Spotlight on AEW Women’s World Champion “Timeless” Toni Storm

On Saturday, “Timeless” Toni Storm will have to share the ring with three challengers for her AEW Women’s World Championship, but tonight she has the spotlight to herself.

It was Storm who threw out the challenge to Kris Statlander, Jamie Hayter, and Thekla. Andfter being taken out by Thekla on last week’s Dynamite, Storm bounced back by dropping Thekla on Collision.

Just three days before one of her biggest challenges, the lights will dim and the spotlight will descend on AEW Women’s World Champion “Timeless” Toni Storm LIVE at September to Remember!

Christian and Copeland Come Face-to-Face with FTR

Every time Christian, Adam Copeland, and FTR have been in the same building over the last month, fights have ensued. So tonight, heavy fines will be in order if there is any physicality between the two sides as they come face-to-face ahead of their momentous and now very personal tag team clash at All Out in Toronto on Saturday.

We’ll have to wait three days for the bell to ring, but what will happen when these four meet tonight at September to Remember?
