AEW Dynamite: A Tribute to PAC came to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on TBS & HBO Max for a night dedicated to Benjamin Satterley, also known in the professional wrestling world as “The Bastard” PAC. Throughout the evening, we heard many tributes from Ben’s friends and coworkers as part of a night honoring his life and legend, in addition to a statement from his family, plus a lineup of matches all in tribute to PAC.
AEW Continental Champion Jon Moxley defeated Orange Cassidy in the opening contest to retain the AEW Continental Title, but was surprised after the match by the “American Dragon” Bryan Danielson, who embraced Moxley on this emotional night. Later, Marina Shafir was victorious in her trios match alongside Thunder Rosa and Hyan over AEW Women’s World Champion Mercedes Moné, TBS and CMLL World Women’s Champion Persephone and Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D., by submitting Baker with PAC’s Brutalizer.
The main event was a 5-on-5 tag match pitting the Death Riders against the Don Callis Family. However, when Moxley joined commentary, the Death Riders appeared to be a man down until Danielson’s music hit and he came out dressed to wrestle! The Death Riders and Danielson won the main event over the Callis Family before the night ended with a special video tribute to PAC and a final spotlight on his chair.
AEW World Champion Will Ospreay and Ricochet revisited their iconic rivalry in honor of PAC, with Ospreay hitting a Black Arrow to win the match. Also, “Hangman” Adam Page reunited with The Elite to beat the Callis Family in an 8-Man Tag.
This was A Tribute to PAC.

In Memoriam: "PAC" Benjamin Satterley (1986-2026)

PAC’s Final Appearance With The Death Riders After All Out
We went back to PAC’s final appearance on camera, as part of the Death Riders’ comments after All Out. Moxley spoke about his loss to AEW World Champion Will Ospreay, whom he called the better man. Moxley explained what you have to do after you lose or any time you get knocked down because that’s what you do. He told Ospreay he only has more work now. But Ospreay and everyone needs to know what they have and the opportunity to shape the future of pro wrestling. Moxley begged that everyone do something with that gift. Everyone followed Moxley away, with PAC being the last to leave.
10-Bell Salute for PAC
Everyone gathered on stage for a 10-Bell Salute to PAC before the Death Riders’ music hit and the spotlight shined on PAC’s empty chair with a towel lying over it. Jon Moxley got some final words from the rest of the Death Riders before walking past the chair alone for the opening contest.
AEW Continental Championship Match: AEW Continental Champion Jon Moxley (c) def. The Conglomeration's Orange Cassidy
Per Continental Rules, both men were out alone for this one-on-one match for the Continental Championship. Moxley and Cassidy worked things out slowly in the get-go, with Moxley gaining the initial advantage before Cassidy broke free and dumped Mox to the mat. Cassidy managed to put Mox back down with a pair of armdrags, so the champion backed up to stop the challenger’s momentum. Moxley worked Cassidy to the ropes and chopped him hard. Cassidy and Moxley traded a succession of near-falls in an amazing display of wrestling. The crowd, which has been behind both men, roared in approval!
Moxley worked Cassidy down to the mat and tried to pin his arm to the mat multiple times before Cassidy was able to work back to his feet. He got Moxley on his back and nearly got twisted into a rear naked choke. Cassidy flailed around to escape and got to the ropes. He took a moment on the apron while Moxley motioned how close he was to putting Cassidy away. Moxley stayed on Cassidy and chucked him to the floor. Mox followed out and slammed Cassidy’s head off the commentary desk before posing to celebrate his handiwork.
Moxley remained in control and returned the match to the ring where he continued the attack on Cassidy. Moxley lifted Cassidy for a piledriver and held him as he demanded the crowd get louder. Finally, Moxley spiked Cassidy. Cassidy had a brief moment of comeback, but Moxley shut it down and sent Cassidy to the outside. After working over Cassidy some more, Moxley threw Cassidy back in, so he rolled all the way to the floor on the opposite side. Mox went out and got him and threw Cassidy back in, so Cassidy rolled out the other side. Moxley threw him back in, but raced around the ring to stop Cassidy from getting out again. Cassidy started rolling back across, and Mox got halfway back around the ring before Cassidy came out of nowhere to dive onto Mox!
Cassidy threw Mox back in and hit a crossbody elbow from the top, followed by a swinging DDT! Mox kicked out at two! What a comeback by Cassidy! Cassidy went back to the top rope, so Moxley rolled away and sat in the opposite corner. Cassidy couldn’t do anything but nod. Moxley avoided an Orange Punch, and OC escaped a Paradigm Shift before connecting with an Orange Punch on the second attempt! Moxley powered through for a cutter and both men were down!
They got back to their feet, and Cassidy hit one of his signature kicks to Moxley’s shin. Moxley responded with 1000% more power behind his shot. They exchanged weak shots for massive shots until Cassidy backed up for a thrust kick and put everything he had into it! Moxley came back with a strike, and they really started to exchange, with Cassidy dropping Mox!
Mox got back to his feet and used Cassidy’s kicks against him! The crowd was in awe and chanted, “HOLY SHIT!” Cassidy raised his hands and put them in his pockets! Moxley raised his hands to do the same, and the crowd came unglued, but he flipped off Cassidy instead! Cassidy responded with a dropkick! Cassidy hit an Orange Punch! He hit another Orange Punch! Cassidy fired up for one more as Moxley stumbled to his feet, but as he charged, it was a fake-out, as Cassidy trapped Moxley in a Cazadora for a surprise near-fall!
Cassidy ran at Moxley and hit a Stundog Millionaire. Moxley stayed on his feet and grabbed Cassidy for a choke. Cassidy rolled over Moxley and tried a crucifix pin for another near-fall. Moxley escaped a Beach Break, but not a PK from Cassidy! Cassidy took off his elbow pad, and Moxley met him in the corner with a clothesline! Moxley hit a momentum clothesline in tribute to PAC! 1-2-Cassidy kicked out! Moxley locked in PAC’s Brutalizer! Cassidy escaped with a rollup for another two-count. Cassidy rolled Moxley to the mat and tried to lock in a Brutalizer of his own, but Moxley rolled out of it and stomped Cassidy into the mat! Moxley picked up Cassidy and spiked him with a Death Rider to get the pinfall victory and a successful AEW Continental Championship Defense!
After the match, Moxley stayed down in the corner until “American Dragon” Bryan Danielson made a shocking appearance! Danielson slowly walked to the ring, and Moxley got back to his feet, but kept his distance. The two came face to face and embraced in an understandably emotional moment that was clearly appreciated by everyone in attendance.
“Hangman” Adam Page Remembers PAC
Page spoke of his memories with PAC and their friendship.
8-Man Tag Team Match: AEW World Tag Team Champions Young Bucks (Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson), "Hangman" Adam Page & Kenny Omega def. Don Callis Family's "The Jet" Kevin Knight, "The Protostar" Kyle Fletcher & RPG Vice (Trent Beretta and Rocky Romero)
The Callis Family attacked at the bell before isolating Nick in the corner for repeated attacks. Fletcher covered Nick for an early two-count. Matt made a blind tag, and the Bucks hit a pop-up hurricanrana on Fletcher! Knight came in, and the Bucks got him with a flipping backbreaker across the knee. Beretta stormed in and briefly fought them off before getting flipped over for an assisted German suplex. The Bucks posed, but Rocky stopped them with a double hurricanrana! Rocky slid to the corner for his customary celebration, so he didn’t see Page show up behind him. When Romero turned around, he saw Page, so he didn’t see Omega, who was now behind him! When he saw Omega, he tried to dive out of the ring, but the Bucks were there to stop him. Page and Omega ping-ponged Romero back and forth with chops until he rolled out of the ring.
Beretta came in and found himself on the wrong end of double-team offense from the former AEW World Tag Team Champions, Page and Omega! Matt held Knight in a headscissors for Nick’s dropkick to the floor, so Page did the same to Fletcher! The crowd loved it! All four men dropped to the mat, and the Terminator clap rang out before they connected on quadruple dives to the floor!
Back in the ring, The Elite mounted the Callis Family for punches in all four corners. Matt hit Beretta with a bucklebomb into Nick’s kick, but Fletcher stopped any further offense and folded Matt with a half-and-half suplex! The Callis Family cleared the corner, and Knight whipped Nick down from the top with a jumping hurricanrana! Knight hit a springboard double clothesline to Page and Omega on the floor. Back in the ring, RPG Vice nailed Matt with Strong Zero! Nick was there to break it up in the nick of time!
The crowd tried to get Matt back into it, and he nearly fought out of the Callis corner, but Romero caught him and hit an uppercut. Romero cleared the Elite corner and started Forever Clotheslines, but Matt cut him off with Locomotive Northern Lights suplexes, including a double on Fletcher! Nick tagged in and took RPG Vice down with a two-for-one springboard armdrag/headscissors. Fletcher and Knight tried to double team Nick, but Nick moved away from Knight’s charge, which knocked Fletcher to the floor.
Page tagged in, and he wiped out everyone! Page hit a springboard clothesline to Fletcher on the apron and then a dive to the floor on Fletcher and Beretta. He caught Knight for a fallaway slam and sprang to his feet for a running shooting star press. Knight kicked out at two! Omega wanted the tag and got it! He cleared the Callis corner as the fans chanted, “KENNY!” Knight gouged Omega’s eyes, but Omega recovered to hit a snap dragon suplex on Knight. Romero and Beretta also got the same treatment from Omega! Fletcher came back in and dumped Omega with a Michinoku Driver! Fletcher stopped a Superkick Party and held Matt’s leg for Knight to sky across the ring with a springboard clothesline!
Page missed a discus clothesline on Knight only to eat a running Sliced Bread from Romero. RPG Vice hit leaping knees to Nick and tried to set him up for Strong Zero, but Matt pulled Romero down on one side and Page pulled Fletcher down on the other. Knight tried to springboard in to help Beretta, but Omega stopped him in midair with a vicious V-Trigger! Page and Matt superkicked Beretta so Nick flipped over into a Code Red. The Elite measured Romero for quadruple superkicks and even did a “TOO SWEET” before connecting! The Bucks and Page went up to three different corners while Romero and Knight were down, and Omega had Beretta on his shoulder for You Can’t Escape. As he rolled Beretta to the mat and jumped to the top rope, he came back with a moonsault, as Page did the same to Fletcher on the floor while Matt hit a top-rope elbow on Romero and Nick hit a senton bomb on Knight! Somehow Beretta kicked out to stay alive!
Omega fired up the crowd and tried a V-Trigger on Beretta, but Beretta moved, and Omega hit the ropes. He grabbed a waist lock on Beretta, who broke free just to run into a boot from Page on the apron. Page came over the top for a Buckshot Lariat on Beretta as Omega hit the V-Trigger from behind! The Bucks hit Beretta with a BTE Trigger! Page and the Bucks hit dives to the floor while Omega finished Beretta with a One-Winged Angel to get the win! The Elite celebrated with an emotional hug in the middle of the ring.

Non-Title Match: AEW World Champion Will Ospreay def. The Demand's Ricochet
Bishop Kaun and Toa Liona were with Ricochet for this very special PAC tribute match, with Ricochet holding a PAC towel over his shoulders on his way to the ring. Ospreay made his way to the ring and stopped to embrace both Kaun and Liona before continuing his entrance. Francesco Akira, “Speedball” AEW National Champion Andrade El Ídolo of United Empire joined Ospreay at ringside. Before the match began, Ricochet and Ospreay took a knee in the middle of the ring and embraced before coming back to their feet to begin the match. Ospreay fired up the crowd, and they responded as the bell rang!
To the surprise of no one, Ospreay and Ricochet exchanged what felt like an infinite number of reverses until they landed in a stalemate. Ospreay missed Ricochet in two corners before Ricochet came back with a crossbody off the ropes to get a near-fall. Ricochet stomped and chopped Ospreay, but Ospreay came back with a boot out of the corner and a great transition into a hurricanrana that sent Ricochet to the floor. Ospreay fired up the crowd and clobbered Ricochet with a crossbody over the top.
Back in the ring, Ospreay briefly took over until Ricochet hit an enzuigiri that knocked Ospreay to the floor. Ricochet came flying over the ropes with a twisting body press to Ospreay and still managed to land on his feet! The battle continued on the floor with Ricochet attempting a 450 splash off the barricade, which Ospreay avoided, as Ricochet landed on his feet and came back with a thrust kick. Ricochet charged at Ospreay, so Ospreay launched Ricochet head over heels with a belly-to-belly suplex into the barricade!
They returned to the ring, and Ospreay came off the ropes with a corkscrew kick. He went to the apron and nailed Ricochet with a springboard forearm to get a near-fall. Ospreay hit quick kicks, and things devolved into a chop battle before Ricochet tried a backslide. Ospreay got out of it and hit a Stundog Millionaire. Ricochet came right back with a kick to the side of the head and lifted Ospreay for Vertigo, but Ospreay got out of it and bounced off the ropes for a nasty DDT! Ricochet somehow kicked out again!
Ospreay tried a Stormbreaker, but Ricochet reversed it into a hurricanrana for a near fall! Ospreay got caught with a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker followed by a running shooting star press. He rolled up and to the second rope for a Phoenix Splash! How did he do that from the middle? Ospreay managed to kick out!
Ricochet elbowed Ospreay off the second rope and tried to set up another high-risk move, but Ospreay came back and snapped Ricochet over with an avalanche poisonrana! Ricochet landed on his feet! HOW?! Ricochet hit a flurry of strikes and missed a kick, but came back with a release German Suplex. Ospreay hit a rebound German suplex. Ricochet spiked Ospreay with a Poisonrana! Ospreay responded with a Poisonrana of his own! Both men collapsed to the mat! WOW!
Ospreay and Ricochet fought to their knees and then their feet, as the crowd showed their appreciation. A reset turned into a stiff strike exchange, which Ricochet got the better of with a series of kicks. Ospreay came back with a step-up dropkick and an enzuigiri before running into a boot in the corner. Ospreay caught Ricochet on his shoulders and swung him into a massive Blue Thunder Bomb! 1-2-Ricochet kicked out!
Ospreay lined up the Hidden Blade, but Ricochet caught him for a Backslide Driver! Ricochet followed with a Liger Bomb, but Ospreay managed to kick out and survive. Ricochet took a moment to gather himself before a running forearm in the corner. With Ospreay doubled over, Ricochet went to the top and came down with a Shooting Star Pele Kick in a beautiful tribute to PAC! Ricochet went back up top and hit a Shooting Star Press! Ospreay kicked out! Ricochet couldn’t believe it!
Both men got encouragement from their corners while Ricochet backed up to the corner. Ospreay struggled to get to his knees, so Ricochet tried a Spirit Gun, but Ospreay lured him in and somehow turned it into a Styles Clash! He rolled Ricochet over for the pin, but Ricochet escaped! Ospreay hit Ricochet with a Hidden Blade to the back of the head! Ospreay stopped before going for a pin and looked at the top rope. He dragged Ricochet to the corner and looked to the sky. Ospreay took his time and hit the ultimate tribute to PAC: A BLACK ARROW! Ospreay covered Ricochet and earned the emotional victory. Both men were joined by their stablemates in the ring and embraced each other before hugging referee Bryce Remsburg.
Will Ospreay Pays Tribute to PAC
After the match, we heard Will Ospreay’s tribute to PAC, including memories and the lasting impact PAC had on Ospreay from a young age.
"The Problem" Marina Shafir, CMLL Mexican National Women's Champion Thunder Rosa & Hyan def. AEW Women's World Champion "The CEO" Mercedes Moné, TBS & CMLL World Women's Champion Persephone & Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D.
The final entrant of this huge trios match was Marina Shafir, who got fired up by the Death Riders and was accompanied to the ring by AEW Continental Champion Jon Moxley. Shafir was wearing a soccer jersey gifted to her son, Troy, by Ben. Shafir quickly stirred things up when she threw the socks at the opposite corner.
Hyan opened things with Persephone, as they reacquainted themselves after recent battles. Hyan booted Persephone to the mat and tagged Rosa for a double-team elbow. They hit a pair of short dropkicks, and Rosa covered for a near fall. Rosa came over Persephone with a sunset flip, but Persephone rolled through and hit a dropkick, and Rosa kicked out quickly. Baker tagged in and fired away on her bitter rival in the corner. Persephone tagged back in and pulled Rosa off the second rope looking for a crucifix powerbomb, but Hyan came in to save her, and Rosa tagged Shafir!
Shafir laid out Moné with a foot to the face and Baker with a chop. She called Rosa and Hyan back in the ring for stereo baseball slides. Shafir swung around the ropes to trap Persephone’s head and spiked her into the apron! Shafir stayed in control until she tagged out to Rosa. However, Rosa got isolated and was punished by Moné and Persephone. Persephone grounded Rosa on the mat and brought her back to the corner for Moné to tag back in. She choked Rosa with a boot and then ran to the opposite corner to taunt Shafir and Hyan. When she charged back, Rosa caught her with a big boot and the two dropped each other with clotheslines.
Moné tried to stop Rosa, but she kicked away and tagged Shafir. She tagged Moné with a thrust kick and another short kick. Shafir lifted Moné with a double underhook and dropped her across the knee with a facebreaker on the already broken nose. Shafir called Moné out of the corner, and Moné responded with stiff shots. Shafir asked for more and hit a PAC-esque rebound German Suplex! She snapped Moné over with a stiff suplex and trapped her in Mother’s Milk! Persephone came in to break it up, and she also got a German Suplex. Baker hit Shafir with a Slingblade only to eat a Falcon Arrow from Hyan. Moné hit Hyan with a backstabber! Rosa knocked Moné out of the ring with a dropkick. Persephone avoided Rosa with a matrix maneuver and kicked her to the floor. Shafir dropped Baker with a chop and turned into a spear from Persephone! Baker stomped Shafir’s head into the mat!
Baker called for the Lockjaw and put on her glove while taunting Moxley on the floor. She put Shafir in the Lockjaw, but on the floor, Hyan and Rosa took out Persephone. Shafir got back to her feet while carrying Baker on her back! She spun Baker around and flipped her to the mat with a nasty throw. She locked Baker in The Brutalizer to get the win! Moxley joined Shafir in the ring for a long embrace after the match.
Swerve Strickland and Darby Allin Pay Tribute to PAC
Both Swerve Strickland and Darby Allin shared their memories and tributes to PAC.
Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta, Daniel Garcia, Gabe Kidd & Bryan Danielson def. Don Callis Family (Josh Alexander, Lance Archer, Jake Doyle, Wardlow and Mark Davis)
After the Don Callis Family came to the ring, including the returning Wardlow, we went back to the hallway of the Death Riders to watch them make their entrance for the main event. Moxley made a rare appearance in the huddle, which took place around PAC’s chair. All of the Death Riders dropped down for push-ups on the floor, but Moxley didn’t go to the ring to join them. Instead, he went to commentary, which left the Death Riders down a man. Moxley said maybe things will just work out perfectly. With the Death Riders facing off with the Don Callis Family in the ring, the Death Riders’ music hit again and then stopped before turning to the music of the AMERICAN DRAGON BRYAN DANIELSON! AND HE’S DRESSED TO WRESTLE!
Danielson remained affirmative as he flew around the ring, but Justin Roberts had to rush the ring announcement because a brawl broke out and he wasn’t getting caught in one of those again! Danielson immediately paired off with Wardlow as the fights continued, but the crowd was well aware of the magnitude of the moment, as they chanted, “HOLY SHIT!”
The bell rang, but that didn’t stop any of the mayhem happening on the floor. Somehow, Yuta and Doyle ended up in the ring, but Doyle powered him down until Yuta came right back at him. Everyone started to get on the apron with the match finding a measure of normalcy. That was quickly wiped away when Moxley pointed out how big of a team Callis was fielding tonight. Garcia brought in Kidd, who fired himself up with headbutts to the turnbuckle before landing one on Archer. Archer cut him off with a big kneelift and tagged Alexander. He kept Kidd in the corner with shoulder thrusts and then dug at his face. Kidd got a moment of separation and tagged Castagnoli.
Castagnoli tried to suplex Alexander, who dropped down to block it, so Castagnoli used a deadlift and carried Alexander across the ring to drape him on the ropes. And just as you might expect, that was the perfect setup for Danielson to come off the top with a flying knee to the back of Alexander’s head! Everyone in the arena other than the Callis Family called for the Giant Swing, so Castagnoli obliged, and Yuta ended it with a dropkick. He covered Alexander, but the Callis Family all came in to break it up. Wardlow nailed Yuta with a fireman’s carry driver!
Yuta was isolated for a long time, which Moxley described as him taking a “shellacking.” The Death Riders’ corner was cleared, but Yuta got away from Davis and hit a top-rope dropkick. Danielson got back on the apron and tagged Danielson! He wiped out the entire Callis Family corner and went to work on Alexander with punches to the corner. Alexander sent Danielson to the opposite side, so Danielson, who hasn’t had a match in nearly two years, just ran up the ropes and flipped over Alexander before dropping him with a high-velocity clothesline. Moxley was loving every bit of it on commentary!
Danielson pointed to the sky and started laying in his stiff kicks to the chest of Alexander. On the final kick attempt, Alexander moved and picked Danielson’s leg for an ankle lock! Danielson countered it into the Lebell Lock! Doyle stomped Danielson to break it up and leveled him with a forearm. Garcia took Doyle down with a Dragon Screw, but then ate a massive powerbomb from Wardlow. Castagnoli came in and hit Wardlow with an uppercut, which Wardlow shook off, so Castagnoli hit a springboard uppercut to knock Wardlow to the floor. Davis clobbered Castagnoli from behind and then got dumped on his head by Kidd with a rebound German suplex. Kidd got caught by Archer for a fallaway slam. Archer goozled Yuta for a chokeslam, but Yuta took him over with a hurricanrana. Yuta tried to go for a dive, but got cut off by Alexander’s boot.
Alexander grabbed Danielson and hit a pair of German suplexes, but when he went for a third, Danielson flipped over and landed on his feet. He walloped Alexander with a kick to the head and climbed to the corner to make a tag to Garcia! He met Doyle with a flurry of right hands and a pair of chops to the chest. Davis and Wardlow tried to double suplex Garcia, but Kidd and Castagnoli caught him. Wardlow and Davis clotheslined Castagnoli and Kidd to the floor, although they started to celebrate too early, with Danielson and Yuta waiting across the ring behind them. Danielson and Yuta hit stereo Busaiku Knees! Archer flattened Danielson and Yuta with a crossbody. Archer grabbed Shafir by the throat on the apron, so she turned it into an armbreaker with Archer hanging over the top rope. Garcia dumped Archer to the floor. Castagnoli went over the top with a tornillo to Archer, which is not a typical Castagnoli offensive maneuver! Doyle bodyblocked Garcia and backed up to the corner. Garcia rose out of the other corner and brought his arms up with everyone, including the Death Riders on the floor cheering on what came next. Garcia brought back his dance and the crowd exploded!
Doyle missed a charge in the corner and was immediately bombarded by the rest of the Death Riders and Danielson, who jumped right in on the train of pain. Shafir finished things off, as referee Paul Turner was conveniently distracted by Castagnoli. Yuta and Danielson took out Davis and Wardlow on the floor, or as Moxley made the call, “TOPE SUICIDAS IN STEREO…as the cool announcers say.”
Kidd used a bastard of a lariat on Doyle, which allowed Garcia to lock in the Dragon Tamer. Castagnoli stomped Doyle, and Garcia covered to get the win!
A Final Tribute to "The Bastard" PAC
We watched a special video tribute to PAC with highlights from his entire career around the world and various comments and quotes from the man himself.
The night closed with a final spotlight on PAC’s chair and towel, with the Death Riders huddled around it.
