AEW Dynamite was live from Houston, Texas on TBS and HBO Max on a night that helped shape next week’s Blood & Guts and beyond!
The Blood & Guts Advantage Battle Matches began on Dynamite, with Claudio Castagnoli and Darby Allin each earning a win for their team, which means the advantage will go to the winner of Jon Moxley vs. Roderick Strong on AEW Collision.
The women also started their Blood & Guts Advantage Battle with Megan Bayne earning a victory over Mina Shirakawa, who replaced the injured Queen Aminata. Matches 2 and 3 (if necessary) will take place on Collision. Jamie Hayter will try to even things up against Skye Blue, and if she does, Harley Cameron will face Thekla to decide the advantage.
Speaking of Harley, Willow Nightingale and Cameron will take some momentum into next week’s Blood & Guts match after scoring the upset over ROH Women’s World Champion Athena and TBS Champion Mercedes Moné in the quarterfinals of the AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championship Tournament.
We also learned that the first AEW National Champion will be crowned at AEW Full Gear, presented by DC Comics, in a Casino Gauntlet, and that Mark Briscoe will get another shot at Kyle Fletcher and the TNT Championship, but with some major stipulations. All that and more went down in Houston!
Here's everything that happened on AEW Dynamite for November 5, 2025, including your full results and match recaps.
AEW Dynamite Recap Tonight for Houston
The Opps Interrupt Tony Schiavone
After a recap of last week’s Fright Night Dynamite that saw AEW World Champion “Hangman” Adam Page dress up as Tony Schiavone to fool Samoa Joe and The Opps, the real Tony Schiavone was in the ring to speak about the National Championship that was coming to AEW. But before he could say anything else, the music of The Opps played. Joe, Powerhouse Hobbs and Katsuyori Shibata made their way down the aisle. Joe had a mic in his hand.
“Pardon the interruption, but Houston, we have a problem! See there’s a term that I heard about a while ago and it just might apply to the man I’m staring at in the ring, Tony Schiavone.”
Joe continued and addressed Schiavone, “Tonight, Tony I know you were gonna say that you had nothing to do with what happened last week…but I’m finding that very hard to believe.”
Schiavone responded, “Joe, you know how much respect I have for you and for The Opps, but…”
“SHUT UP!”
Joe continued, “I’m gonna explain to you what’s about to happen. There are consequences for the actions we choose to engage in, Tony Schiavone. And tonight, my little Georgia peach, consequences have come for you!”
The Opps jumped up on the apron to surround Schiavone, but security ran out to get in between them.
Joe assessed the situation, “This is cute, Tony, but you know you’re just getting more people hurt in this equation?”
HANGMAN IS HERE!
Page jumped in the ring and was held back by security as The Opps went to the floor. However, Joe had more to say, “You know what? This couldn’t have worked out better. Now we take care of two problems at once!”
The Opps jumped back on the apron and security attempted to get between everyone, but Eddie Kingston and HOOK ran out to even the odds! Kingston even brought out a crutch for good measure!
Now, Hangman had something to say, “Joe, Opps, I can forgive you for being confused. That man is Tony Schiavone, not me. The Hangman is right here. You’re right, I am your problem, so if you wanna try to handle your problem, I will beat your ass in my Wranglers!”
HOOK had something to add, “All right, so you guys are the Trios Champions, right? Yeah, those belts you won without me? Well, how ‘bout you prove you're some fighting champions and put them on the line against us, tonight!”
An incensed Joe fired back, “You’re talking big to me? You don’t talk to me like that, ever! And never a day in your life do you speak to me like that. You want a shot at the champs? All right, you guys versus The Opps, and we'll kick your ass for the Trios Championship!”
Tony Khan has made it official! The main event for the AEW World Trios Championships will be The Opps vs. Page, Kingston, and HOOK!
Blood & Guts Advantage Battle Match 1: Claudio Castagnoli def. Orange Cassidy
Cassidy didn’t wait for Castagnoli to get in the ring, instead, flying through the ropes with a tope suicida to send Castagnoli crashing into the announce desk. He immediately hit another dive and mounted Castagnoli near the timekeeper’s area to unload with punches. Castagnoli gorilla pressed his way out of it and chucked Cassidy into the ropes, which, as Bryan Danielson pointed out on commentary, are actually made of steel cables, so the damage is worse.
While Cassidy tried to recover in the ring, Castagnoli took his time taking off his entrance attire, so Cassidy bounced back with a couple of slams to the turnbuckle until Castagnoli cut it off to ground Cassidy. The bell finally rang when Castagnoli got in the ring, and he went for a pop-up uppercut, but Cassidy turned it into an armdrag to send Castagnoli under the bottom rope. Cassidy went for another tope, but Castagnoli was ready for it and took him halfway around the ring in a stalled vertical suplex before throwing him across the guardrail. But Castagnoli wasn’t done! He snatched Cassidy back in a vertical suplex position and walked him up the ring steps before slamming him on the mat! What power!
Cassidy tried a slingshot DDT, but Castagnoli once again caught him in a vertical suplex position. However, this time, Cassidy maneuvered his way onto Castagnoli’s back in a rear choke. Castagnoli tried to spin around to fling Cassidy from his grasp, but OC hung on, and Castagnoli went down to a knee. Castagnoli broke free by snapping Cassidy’s fingers and turned that right into a giant swing, which sent OC to the outside.
Castagnoli followed and punished Cassidy around the ringside area, back into the ring, and back outside again. Once they were back in the ring, Cassidy defiantly put his hands in his pockets from his knees, so Castagnoli deadlifted him into a suplex. Cassidy went back to the pockets from the ground, so Castagnoli gutwrench suplexed him from the mat. Once again, Cassidy went back to the pockets while face-down on the canvas, so Castagnoli violently snatched him by the waistband and threw him in the corner to unload with uppercuts and body blows. Castagnoli sat Cassidy on the top rope and nailed another vicious uppercut, but Cassidy sat up and went to the pockets once again! With his hands firmly in place, OC hit a hurricanrana from the top and followed with a dropkick and sprung to his feet. Cassidy countered an uppercut with a backslide for a two count and then smashed Castagnoli with a PK to the face.
Cassidy chased Castagnoli to the outside and dove under the turnbuckles feet first, but was caught by Castagnoli, only for Cassidy to reverse it into a DDT on the floor!
“FRESHLY SQUEEZED!” “FRESHLY SQUEEZED!” “FRESHLY SQUEEZED!”
Cassidy hit another DDT from the top for another two count, although it was clear that the damage was done. Castagnoli rolled to the outside, so Cassidy went after him with the Orange Punch. Castagnoli ducked it and caught Cassidy with a Liger Bomb for a two count! Castagnoli quickly switched to a crossface, and OC escaped by rolling into a pinning predicament for another nearfall. The two traded reversals until OC got a roll-up for two. Castagnoli grabbed Cassidy by the midsection and just chucked him to the mat. He picked him back up for a low-flying uppercut, but Cassidy still found a way to kick out! Castagnoli took a few moments to gather himself, so Cassidy rolled to the apron. When Castagnoli followed, he locked Cassidy’s arms in the ropes and unloaded with unprotected uppercuts.
Castangoli went to the second rope to suplex Cassidy from the apron to the ring, but on the way down, OC hit a Stundog Millionaire from the top! A fired-up Cassidy threw down his elbow pad and went for the Orange Punch, but Castagnoli countered with an uppercut. He held onto Cassidy’s arm and tried a pop-up uppercut, only for Cassidy to come down with an Orange Punch in mid-air! Cassidy called for another, but Castagnoli popped him up for another uppercut and connected! That was finally enough for Castagnoli to get the win. The Death Riders take a 1-0 lead in the Blood & Guts Advantage Battle!
Kyle Fletcher vs. Mark Briscoe Has Major Stipulations
Renee Paquette was with Mark Briscoe and TNT Champion “The Protostar” Kyle Fletcher alongside Don Callis. Paquette thanked everyone for agreeing to no physicality, but said Briscoe asked for the time, so what is going on?
Briscoe said, “So two weeks ago, I challenged you, Kyle Fletcher, to another match for your TNT Title. Now I received a response from Don Callis, but I want a response from you, Kyle.”
When Kyle went to respond, Briscoe cut him off, “I’m sorry, I wasn’t quite finished. Now, here’s my thought process, Kyle. At WrestleDream, it took a swift kick to the family jewels for you to secure that victory and man, that can’t feel good, man. That’s not a fulfilling victory. That’s like, I don’t know, making out with your sister, or something like that. So basically, what I’m trying to do here is help you become a real man, Kyle Fletcher. Let’s take the kick the balls and make that null and void. Let’s make that meaningless. At Full Gear, Mark Briscoe, Kyle Fletcher, TNT Title, no disqualification!”
Fletcher sarcastically responded, “I mean, Don. I think I might actually like that. I think that would be a lot of fun.”
Callis said he liked making Fletcher happy, so he addressed Briscoe, “There’s something in it for you too, because if you win, you get that TNT Title. That’s what you want, right? Here’s the deal, though. Papi needs a little something. So I’m gonna need something from you.”
Briscoe jumped in, “OK, Don. I guess you gonna ask for my career? Title versus career? Is that what you want Don?”
Callis stopped him, “Whoa, whoa, whoa. I’d never want to end your career. I love Mark Briscoe as a wrestler. I got something much better for both of us in mind. If you lose, or when you lose, to Kyle at Full Gear, you will join the Don Callis Family, and you will leave those losers in The Conglomeration forever. Just to be clear, I know this is blowing your mind here, but make it about you for once. Not the hungry mouths back in Delaware that you have to feed and send all your money to. What about the Conglomeration sucking the life out of you?”
Briscoe was fed up. “Shut up, Don, you done talked enough, you silver-tongued snake. You trying to get me to make a deal with the devil, but you know what? It’s only a deal with the devil on my end, if I lose. But dammit, I ain’t losing. At Full Gear, it’s you that has made a deal with the devil. You got it, buddy!”
Million Dollar Trios Match is Official for Full Gear!
At Full Gear, Kenny Omega will team with Jurassic Express to face Josh Alexander and the Young Bucks with one million dollars on the line! Renee Paquette caught up with Matt and Nick Jackson, Alexander, and Don Callis. Paquette asked if it was safe to say that because they agreed to the match, the Young Bucks have joined the Don Callis Family?
Matt said, “That’s a difficult question.”
Callis interrupted and said, “Renee, come on. Don’t put these guys on the spot. They’re top talent.”
Callis switched his attention to the Bucks, “And how was the Escalade from the airport? Nick, you get the care package under the seat? Listen, when I saw what was going on with this company, treating these generational, once-in-a-millennium tag team like they’re a couple of marks, a couple of jobbers, I said to the guys, if it takes every last penny in my bank account, I am going to make sure they get the treatment that they deserve. Because when you’re with me, guys, you’re with a family.”
Then, the rest of the Don Callis Family walked in to encourage the Bucks.
Callis continued, “Don’t take our word for it. Let me bring in a good friend of yours to give a testimonial. Ladies and gentlemen, THE RAINMAKER!”
AEW Unified Champion Kazuchika Okada walked up to the Bucks and calmly said, “Hi guys.”
A befuddled Matt jumped back in, “This is a lot. We just need a little bit more time. Thank you so much, guys. The million dollar match sounds awesome.””
Callis understood, “Take your time. Guys, let’s give them a little space. Come on, let’s go.”
Okada left them with some interesting final words, “Don’t take too much time.”
AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championship Tournament Quarterfinal: Babes of Wrath (Willow Nightingale and Harley Cameron) def. ROH Women’s World Champion Athena & TBS Champion Mercedes Moné
Athena attacked Nightingale from behind and followed her to the outside while Moné went to work on Cameron in the ring to get this match started. Moné and Athena worked over Cameron in their corner with quick tags. Moné hit a big knee lift from the apron, which earned her a near-fall. Athena tagged back in and continued the assault with repeated strikes to the head. Moné tagged back in but immediately ran across to knock Nightingale off the apron.
Cameron finally showed some signs of life by avoiding a kick to hit a backdrop driver, which allowed her to make the tag to Nightingale for the first time in this match. Nightingale unloaded with clotheslines and then stacked Moné and Athena in the corner for a running splash. She threw them both from the corner and hit a second-rope dropkick to put Moné and Athena on the mat. Cameron tagged back in so she and Nightingale could hit stereo kicks! Nightingale hit a sidewalk slam on Moné and then assisted Cameron with a splash onto the TBS Champion! But Athena made the save!
Athena sent Nightingale to the outside with a dropkick, but when Cameron tried to grab Athena from behind, Moné stopped her with a lungblower. Moné directed traffic and sent Athena running while she held the ropes open for a big dive to Nightingale on the outside. Back in the ring, Moné hit Cameron with a meteora, followed by Athena picking up Moné in a Gory Special to slam her onto Cameron! Moné thought she had it, but Cameron kicked out!
Cameron couldn’t get anywhere near her corner for minutes, and she looked like she was in dire straits when Moné went into her Three Amigos suplexes. Moné decided to tag Athena in for a double-team on the third suplex, but Cameron escaped and took both down! Nightingale made the blind tag and followed with a massive double clothesline! Nightingale unloaded on Athena in the corner and followed with a cannonball and a spinebuster, but Athena managed to kick out!
Nightingale pulled Athena up to her feet, but she responded with a forearm and tagged Moné. Nightingale grabbed Athena in a fireman’s carry, but she slipped off the back as Moné put Nightingale down with a crossbody for a two count. Moné went for a head scissors, but Nightingale reversed it into a sidewalk slam. She tagged Cameron back in and put Moné on her shoulders. Moné escaped with a backstabber, but walked right into Sole Food from Cameron! Athena hit a face-first slam to Camer, only to be taken down by a Nightingale lariat. Nightingale and Cameron sent Athena to the corner, but she jumped up and countered with knees to both from the top turnbuckle. Cameron got caught in the Statement Maker, but Nightingale broke it up by pouncing Athena onto Moné!
Athena and Nightingale traded shots in the middle, with the more powerful Nightingale getting the best of the exchange. Moné tried to cut her off, so Nightingale dropped her with a Death Valley driver. Willow turned her attention back to Athena and missed a cannonball in the corner. Athena showed her own power by lifting Nightingale and dropping her across a rising knee, but Nightingale stumbled backwards into a tag from Cameron. Athena didn’t see the tag, but still managed to catch Cameron across her body while still carrying Nightingale on her back! She threw both of them off with a fallaway slam, but only got a two!
Billie Starkz came down to ringside, and Athena asked for her ROH Women’s World Championship. As Starkz put it on the apron, AEW Women’s World Champion Kris Statlander ran down to stop Starkz and even the playing field. Statlander then chased Moné around the ring, while back inside, Nightingale stopped Athena from using the title by dropping her with a Babe with the Powerbomb! Cameron hit Her Finishing Move on Athena to get the win for the Babes of Wrath! They move on to the semifinals to face the Sisters of Sin, Skye Blue and Julia Hart!
The AEW National Champion Will Be Crowned in a Casino Gauntlet Match!
Earlier in the night, we learned that Tony Khan decided to bring back the National Title to TBS for the first time in nearly 40 years. Tony Schiavone was back in the ring to explain that the first AEW National Champion will be determined by a Casino Gauntlet at Full Gear! And with so many wrestlers trying to get in the match, it was time to find out two who have already entered the fray. Schiavone introduced Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin, who MVP accompanied, as Houston serenaded The Hurt Syndicate.
Schiavone said that with both Benjamin and Lashley in the match, it brings up an interesting situation for The Hurt Syndicate. MVP spoke about the history of the National Championship, including some of the greats to hold it, but asked who is more iconic than Lashley? Who is better than Benjamin?
But what happens if those two face off? MVP made it clear. “You see, we are businessmen and we always do what’s best for business. But I’ll tell you who wins. The Hurt Syndicate wins, but more importantly, the AEW viewing audience wins.”
The Demand arrived on the ramp with Ricochet prepared to speak alongside Toa Liona and Bishop Kaun.
Ricochet said, “Listen, guys, I promise, I will make this as quick as possible. Because as a Philadelphia Eagles fan, I don’t wanna be in this trash-ass state any longer than I need to be. I just came out here because if anybody knows Ricochet, I give credit where credit is due. And the three of us wanted to come out here and give The Hurt Syndicate the credit that they deserve. Seriously, it doesn’t matter how decrepitly old you guys are. Each and every week, you hobble your old asses out to my ring, and now you’re talking about championship gold? Honestly, that’s amazing. At your age, I admire you guys. I admire you. But look, every single time that I open my mouth, I’m spitting nothing but facts. Every single time I have a microphone, it seems like I’m saying I told you so. Because I told every single one of you morons watching in the audience and watching at home, that I was going to do everything to make sure that you three morons never win gold again. And that’s what happened, isn’t it, Bob? How’s your back? Haha!”
Ricochet tried to say more, but Houston told him to shut up. Still, he continued, “I’m out here for you three. Because you’re really starting to piss me off. You’re starting to make me a little mad.”
MVP heard enough, “Hey man, nobody cares about anything you gotta say. The only thing you’ve ever done well is get your asses kicked by us. You like to get hurt! Shut your mouth before we come down there and beat that ass right now!”
Ricochet went back at MVP, “Look, the only thing you need to know is at Full Gear, the demand will be met, and Ricochet will be walking out as your inaugural AEW National Champion!”
MVP got the final words, “You talk shit, we hurt people. Run it.”
The Hurt Syndicate invited The Demand to the ring, but they remained on the ramp and posed instead.
Jurassic Express Show Some Charity to the Young Bucks
“Jungle” Jack Perry told Luchasaurus that certain things are more important than money, like friendship.
“And Bucks, I know you guys are going through a real rough patch, so this should help.”
Perry stuck a large knife in a $100 bill outside of the Don Callis Family locker room and walked away. Luchasaurus went back to get it, but Perry scolded him and told him to leave it.
Blood & Guts Advantage Battle Match 2: Darby Allin def. Daniel Garcia
Allin stared Garcia down from the second turnbuckle as he entered from the crowd without any of the other Death Riders. Off the top, Allin controlled Garcia with a side headlock until Garcia broke it by pulling at Allin’s ear. He followed up with a shot to the windpipe that left Allin gasping for air. As Allin tried to regain his breath on the apron, Garcia choked him with the turnbuckle padding. Allin fought back by capturing Garcia’s arm in the ringpost and then wailing away on it before biting him! Garcia tried to get away, so Allin followed him with a flip dive through the ropes!
Allin slammed Garcia into the guardrail and kept up the pace with a dropkick. He threw Garcia back in, so Garcia rolled back out. When Allin chased after him, Garcia trapped Allin on the ring apron and struck him unblocked multiple times before throwing Allin into the steel steps. Garcia worked over Allin for the next few minutes, but he made a mistake and Allin grabbed a submission. Garcia reversed it and got a rear choke, but Allin rolled back into a nearfall! Garcia got the choke back on and hung Allin while he sat on the top turnbuckle. Garcia put Allin back on the top and hit a beautiful superplex. He hung on for another suplex, but Allin reversed it into a Scorpion Death Drop!
It looked like Allin was primed for a Coffin Drop from the top, but Garcia saw it and took out Allin’s legs, which sent him crashing to the floor. Garcia went after him and trapped Allin between the steep steps and ring post, which he made even worse with a dropkick to the stairs! Garcia stopped the referee’s count at five, and as Allin came up, he was bloodied, but immediately clotheslined by PAC out of nowhere! He hid in the timekeeper’s area and Allin looked down and out. Somehow, Allin found enough energy to get back in the ring to beat the count, only to collapse immediately. Garcia chopped Allin back to the ground and took his time cinching in a Scorpion Deathlock with a Sting-like howl to add insult to injury! Allin fought to the ropes, but Garcia pulled him back. Allin reversed the hold into a Scorpion Deathlock of his own, and Garcia tapped out! Each side has one win, with the deciding Match 3 between Jon Moxley and Roderick Strong set to take place this Saturday night on AEW Collision.
PAC hit the ring to attack Allin after the bell, so Orange Cassidy ran out to make the save! Wheeler Yuta came out to take down OC, and Garcia recovered as Claudio Castagnoli arrived to give the Death Riders a bigger advantage. Roderick Strong entered the fray, but was quickly outnumbered. On the floor, Jon Moxley took down Kyle O’Reilly before they could get in the ring. PAC hit a piledriver on Cassidy as Castagnoli hit a Neutralizer on Allin. Moxley tossed O’Reilly in the ring and had Castagnoli hold him, but Strong returned with a flying knee to Moxley, and the Death Riders scattered!
FTR Gets Personal with Brodido
Surprisingly, Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood came to the ring without Big Stoke. Wheeler reminded everyone how they became No. 1 contenders to the AEW World Tag Team Championships at AEW Full Gear. He said they should be happy, but they were mad because they should already be three-time AEW World Tag Team Champions if not for Brodido winning at AEW Forbidden Door. Wheeler called out Brodido to talk to them face-to-face.
Brodido’s music played, but they didn’t come out. We went to the back, where Renee Paquette was in front of Brodido’s locked locker room, as they banged on the door to get out. Big Stoke just happened to be standing nearby on his phone, so Paquette asked what was going on. Stoke played dumb and said he’s been trying to get them out all night. He asked Paquette if she wanted to watch The Wire because it’s on HBO Max! Big Stoke Synergy!
Back in the ring, Harwood mocked what happened to Brodido and was upset he couldn’t shake their hands before Full Gear. He said they have the second-best thing and introduced Bandido’s family, who were sitting at ringside. FTR went out to them, including Bandido’s abuela as well as his brother, Gravity. Every time Harwood asked her a question, he would pull the microphone away and insult her.
“If we’re talking Day of the Dead, sister, you take the cake.”
He even offered to adopt her as their abuela because she must be so embarrassed by Bandido and Gravity. He tried to get her to kiss him on the cheek, so she swatted him away. Gravity had had enough and tried to fight them both, but FTR were too much.
We heard more banging on a door and saw Big Stoke still watching The Wire outside Brodido’s locker room. All of a sudden, a giant fist came crashing through the door and grabbed Stoke! He escaped what appeared to be Brody King and ran towards the ring. FTR had Gravity set up for the stuff piledriver, but they stopped when Stoke came out. King and Bandido hit the ring to save Gravity and chase FTR from the ring!
Blood & Guts Advantage Battle Match 1: Megan Bayne def. Mina Shirakawa
Before the match got underway, “Timeless” Toni Storm made her way to the announce table to do commentary for her partner’s match. This was Storm’s first appearance since losing to AEW Women’s World Champion Kris Statlander at AEW WrestleDream.
Shirakawa tried to start fast, but the much bigger Bayne thwarted every attempt. Shirakawa didn’t let up, instead choosing to chop down Bayne by the legs. Shirakawa knocked Bayne to the outside with a dropkick and scaled the top rope to hit a crossbody onto Bayne! Back in the ring, Bayne met Shirakawa on the top rope and threw her with a fallaway slam!
Bayne remained in control until Shirakawa was able to get a trip and a tornillo for a nearfall. Bayne ducked a spinning backfist and caught Shirakawa with a couple of big throws. On the apron, Bayne tried for a suplex, but Shirakawa blocked it and nailed Bayne with a big kick to the head. She followed with a suplex of her own on the apron! Once again, Shirakawa scaled the ropes, but Bayne was there to meet her and nailed a superplex. Bayne tried a powerbomb, so Mina reversed it into a hurricanrana into the corner. Shirakawa went to the top yet again and hit a slingblade, but Bayne kicked out!
Shirakawa called for the Glamorous Driver, but all of a sudden Marina Shafir choked Storm from the crowd! Shirakawa was distracted by the commotion and walked right into a flying clothesline from Bayne. While Storm fought off Shafir on the outside, Bayne hit a running Liger Bomb to get the win and take a 1-0 advantage for her side.
After the match, Shafir threw Storm into the steel steps and then went into the ring to double-team Shirakawa. Before they could do much, Storm cleared them out with a chair. However, Triangle of Madness came out to swing the odds in their favor, so Jamie Hayter, Willow Nightingale and Harley Cameron hit the ring to make it even! Mercedes Moné ran out, but had second thoughts and stopped at the apron. Statlander was behind her and took her down. She got in the ring to join her team and clear out their Blood & Guts opponents for next week!
AEW World Trios Championship Match: The Opps (Samoa Joe, Powerhouse Hobbs and Katsuyori Shibata) (c) def. AEW World Champion “Hangman” Adam Page, HOOK & Eddie Kingston
Page and Shibata began our main event, throwing absolute bombs at each other, with each having some success until Page got control to tag in HOOK. Shibata quickly handled HOOK and brought in Hobbs. HOOK tried to go toe-to-toe with Hobbs, but a pair of backbreakers put him down. HOOK somehow bounced back with an overhead throw, although his back was clearly in bad shape. Kingston got in, as HOOK was checked out on the outside by the medical staff. Kingston was isolated for some time by Joe until he moved out of the way of a running senton. Joe tagged Hobbs, but Kingston tagged Page!
Page went after all three members of The Opps and had them on the outside, so he went to the top for a moonsault. Hobbs got back in the ring, so Hangman adjusted and still hit the moonsault for a near-fall! Page was sent to the ropes, so Kingston made a blind tag and Page dove out the opposite side onto Shibata.
Kingston floored Hobbs, but walked into a big shot from Joe. HOOK knocked Joe from the ring, so Shibata put HOOK down with a leg trip. Page and Kingston had Shibata set up for a Buckshot/Uraken combo until Hobbs pulled Page from the apron and slammed him back-first into the corner of the ring! Kingston tried to dive at Hobbs, but Hobbs nailed him on the way down, and Shibata suplexed Kingston back into the ring.
Hobbs shoulder-tackled Page up the ramp, and the two fought on the ramp until Hobbs hit a front slam from the stage through a table on the floor! Hobbs had decimated the AEW World Champion!
Back in the ring, Shibata and Joe had Kingston in deep trouble, until Kingston ducked a Shibata kick that landed on Joe instead! Kingston hit a throw on Shibata, who rolled to the outside. Hobbs returned to the ring and pushed Kingston into the corner, which gave HOOK the chance to make a tag, although he didn’t appear to be in much better shape.
He tried to get Hobbs in REDRUM, but Hobbs powered him up into a torture rack, and HOOK quickly tapped out. The Opps walked away from the main event STILL AEW World Tag Team Champions.
However, before Dynamite came to a close, we found out Page and Hobbs will battle it out next week in a Falls Count Anywhere match from Greensboro, North Carolina!
