AEW Grand Slam: France Collision Preview – Young Bucks Put Up AEW World Tag Team Titles Against The Dogs, Andrade El Ídolo Defends National Title, Mixed Fight in Paris, More
The Collision edition of AEW Grand Slam: France hits your screens tonight at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT on TNT and HBO Max, closing out AEW's debut week in Paris from Adidas Arena. Tensions are on the rise with AEW WrestleDream just one week away, and seven matches highlight tonight’s card, including two championship matches, a massive Mixed Fight in Paris, and a Clockwork Carnage Qualifier.
AEW World Tag Team Champions Young Bucks defend against The Dogs, with the winners set to face Don Callis Family's Kyle Fletcher and "The Jet" Kevin Knight at WrestleDream. The Dogs beat the Bucks back at Summer Blockbuster, but can they do it again tonight to snatch the gold?
AEW National Champion Andrade El Ídolo enters the sixth defense of his title against UK standout Michael Oku. And after AEW Grand Slam: France Dynamite saw AEW World Champion Will Ospreay beat AEW International Champion “The Rainmaker” Kazuchika Okada to retain his title and Samoa Joe become the first man to qualify for Clockwork Carnage by beating Jack Perry, United Empire's "Speedball" Mike Bailey takes on ROH Pure Champion Lee Moriarty in the second Clockwork Carnage qualifier.
Plus, The Conglomeration and Death Riders square off in an 8-Person Mixed Fight in Paris. Jericho and Nick Wayne run it back, with Wayne looking for revenge after he lost their first encounter. AEW World Trios Champion Swerve Strickland faces Shane Taylor Promotions' Carlie Bravo after things got heated between STP and The New Level last week on Collision. Divine Dominion, Wrathlander and Sisters of Sin will collide in a 3-Way to determine the #1 contenders for the AEW Women's World Tag Team Titles, with champions The Brawling Birds on commentary.

AEW Collision: Grand Slam France Tonight in Paris
AEW World Tag Team Championship Match: Young Bucks (Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson) (c) vs. The Dogs (Clark Connors and David Finlay)
Matt and Nick Jackson became the first-ever four-time AEW World Tag Team Champions at AEW All Out when they climbed the ladder and pulled down the titles in a chaotic 3-Way Ladder Match against Christian Cage and Adam Copeland and FTR. Now, they face a team that has already beaten them, The Dogs, who defeated the Bucks at Summer Blockbuster back in June. Connors and Finlay have a chance once again to claim gold, and the winners of this match will face Don Callis Family's Kyle Fletcher and "The Jet" Kevin Knight at WrestleDream.
Do the Young Bucks start their fourth reign with a successful defense, or do The Dogs make good on their earlier win and pull it off again to become AEW World Tag Team Champions?
Mixed Fight in Paris: The Conglomeration (Orange Cassidy, Kyle O'Reilly, Roderick Strong and Willow Nightingale) vs. Death Riders (Daniel Garcia, Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta and "The Problem" Marina Shafir)
The Conglomeration and Death Riders came face-to-face on Collision last Saturday between each team’s respective trios victory. There is no shortage of history between the two sides, and they’ll get to add to that tonight in a unique Mixed Fight in Paris. Will The Conglomeration, looking to get back on the path to backpacks full of gold, send a message to the Death Riders with a big win, or will the Death Riders continue to handle their business against most anyone who steps in their way?
AEW National Championship Match: Andrade El Ídolo (c) vs. Michael Oku
AEW National Champion Andrade El Ídolo has proven to be a fighting champion by taking on all comers. His sixth challenger is British star Michael Oku, who gave Kazuchika Okada a run for his money and the AEW Unified Championship on Collision last September and is looking to take his career to a new level with an AEW championship of his own.
Jericho vs. Nick Wayne
Jericho beat Nick Wayne on Dynamite in Norfolk last month, but Wayne couldn't accept it. After that match, Jericho extended a hand, but Wayne refused it and attacked Jericho with a chair. The young prodigy then demanded a rematch to prove there's nothing left that Jericho can teach him. Wayne wants his chance to shut Jericho up once and for all, but will Wayne get the win he's been seeking? Or will Jericho show Wayne that class is always in session?
Clockwork Carnage Qualifier: United Empire's "Speedball" Mike Bailey vs. ROH Pure Champion Shane Taylor Promotions' "TaigaStyle" Lee Moriarty
Samoa Joe is already in Clockwork Carnage after beating "Jungle" Jack Perry on Grand Slam: France Dynamite, and now, Bailey has proclaimed it’s his turn to try to punch his ticket, but it won’t be easy. The newest member of United Empire has to get through Moriarty, the longest-reigning ROH Men's Pure Champion of all time, who was undefeated in singles competition from September 2025 until Kofi beat him on Collision last Saturday. Does Bailey secure his spot in Clockwork Carnage and chase the dream of battling Ospreay for the AEW World Title, or does Moriarty bounce back and take his own place among the eight at WrestleDream?
3-Way AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championship #1 Contenders Match: Artist of STARDOM Champions Sisters of Sin (Julia Hart and Skye Blue) vs. Divine Dominion ("Megasus" Megan Bayne and "Colossal" Lena Kross) vs. Wrathlander (Kris Statlander and Harley Cameron)
These three teams collide in Paris, with the winners becoming the #1 contenders for the AEW Women's World Tag Team Titles, and champions Jamie Hayter and Alex Windsor will be watching from commentary! Divine Dominion ran through their opponents last week on Collision, only to be interrupted by Hart on her way to the ring. Statlander and Cameron, meanwhile, are looking to prove that Wrathlander is back and ready for gold. Which team earns the next shot at The Brawling Birds in this high-stakes 3-way battle?
AEW World Trios Champion Swerve Strickland vs. Shane Taylor Promotions' Carlie Bravo
Things got heated between Shane Taylor Promotions and AEW World Trios Champions The New Level on Collision last Saturday, when Kofi beat ROH Pure Champion Lee Moriarty in a fantastic first-time bout. Now, the two sides meet again with Swerve taking on STP's Carlie Bravo. Swerve has plenty on his mind heading into Paris, as tensions with "Hangman" Adam Page boiled over at ringside during Kofi's ROH World Championship match on Grand Slam: France Dynamite, which led Swerve and The New Level to challenge Page, Bandido and Brody King to a 2-out-of-3 Falls Match for the AEW World Trios Championship at WrestleDream. Will Swerve use Bravo to vent his frustration, or will Bravo score a statement win for STP?
