Claudio: “This championship represents honor. While the Blackpool Combat Club is the new symbol of excellence. It’s a team. It’s a family. And we make each other better. The best lessons in life you learn when you lose, and I know Wheeler Yuta will get back up and win back his ROH Pure Championship.

“And last Friday I defended my championship against one of the toughest opponents I’ve ever had—Dax Harwood. And this Wednesday it’ll be two members of the Blackpool Combat Club against each other for the AEW World Championship—Jon Moxley and Bryan Danielson.”

Chris Jericho walked down the ramp and interrupted Claudio.

Jericho: “Have you forgotten about the Jericho Appreciation Society? I’ve been watching you week in and week out. And yes, I am a seven-time world champion. And I should be competing for the AEW World Championship this Wednesday, and it’s not because I tapped out.”

Claudio: “Yes, you tapped out.”

Jericho: “I’ve been a world champion in WWF, WWE, WCW, and the first AEW World Champion. But the one place I’ve never been world champion is in Ring of Honor. And seven isn’t enough for me, man. I’m going for the ocho. And that’s why I am challenging you for the Ring of Honor World Championship this Wednesday at Grand Slam. You and me!”

Claudio: “Chris I’ve been waiting for this moment for a long, long time. So Chris, you’re on. But I’m going to beat the hell out of you!”

TBS Champion Jade Cargill was backstage with the Baddies.

Lexy Nair was interviewing Jade when they were interrupted by Diamante!
