AEW Summer Blockbuster Preview

All Elite Wrestling returns tonight with a can’t-miss AEW Summer Blockbuster special, airing live on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT on TBS and Max from Portland’s Theater of the Clouds at the Moda Center. This four-hour live extravaganza promises a stacked night of high-stakes matches and action. Kenny Omega and Kazuchika Okada will put pen to paper and make their highly-anticipated rematch at All In: Texas official in a contract signing that could turn volatile. Plus, Will Ospreay collides with Swerve Strickland in an emotionally-charged rematch of their own, AEW Women’s World Champion “Timeless” Toni Storm steps into action (with Mercedes Moné watching closely), and much more.

Here’s your full AEW Summer Blockbuster preview for June 11, 2025.

All In: Texas Contract Signing – Kenny Omega and Kazuchika Okada

One week after their physical confrontation in Denver, where Okada emerged to attack the AEW International Champion after Omega defended his title in a 4-Way Match, these two icons will meet face-to-face to sign the contract for their showdown at All In: Texas. This will mark the official confirmation of Omega vs. Okada V, the latest chapter in one of pro wrestling’s most legendary rivalries. That match at All In will also be Winner Takes All for Omega’s AEW International Title and Okada’s AEW Continental TItle.

With the history between the Best Bout Machine and the Rainmaker, tensions will undoubtedly be high – and we’ll all be on the edge of our seats.

Will Ospreay vs. Swerve Strickland II

Last week, Ospreay openly admitted he’s tried and failed to get Swerve on the same page as “Hangman” Adam Page, insisting that aligning together might be the only way to stop Jon Moxley’s reign and restore the AEW World Championship to its rightful glory. And so, worried about what Swerve might do to Hangman, Ospreay has called his friend out for a fight.

Their match tonight marks a rematch of their epic 2024 AEW × NJPW Forbidden Door showdown – still considered one of the best professional wrestling matches in recent memory. Expect fireworks as Ospreay looks to prove Swerve should be part of a united front, and Swerve aims to show he has no interest in teaming up with anyone. Round two is here, and it's personal.

Toni Storm vs. Julia Hart (with Mercedes Moné on Commentary)

At Fyter Fest, Storm teamed with Mina Shirakawa to defeat Julia Hart and Skye Blue, as Mercedes Moné – Storm’s All In: Texas challenger for the AEW Women’s World Championship – sat in on commentary. Well, sort of. She sat near commentary and had herself a steak, but we digress.

Tonight, the relentless Hart would love nothing more than to score one of the biggest wins of her career. However, the “Timeless” champion is determined to keep her momentum going into All In. With Mercedes Moné again joining commentary, all eyes will be on Storm.

The Hurt Syndicate (Bobby Lashley, Shelton Benjamin & MJF) vs. JetSpeedAir (Kevin Knight, “Speedball” Mike Bailey & Komander)

For the first time, the trio of Lashley, Benjamin and MJF will be in action together in the ring, taking on the high-flying, hard-striking trio of Knight, Bailey and Komander. JetSpeedAir tried to challenge The Hurt Syndicate last week in Denver, but MVP told the trio they’d have to earn the group’s respect first. Knight, Bailey and Komander seemed to do just that with a win over LFI – and when The Hurt Syndicate tried to attack JetSpeedAir after the match, the group was able to fend off the ambush.

That has all led to this match tonight. Can JetSpeedAir knock The Hurt Syndicate for a loop? Will the Tag Team Champions and MJF need some time to get on the same page in the ring? Or will they show just how much they enjoy hurting people right out of the gate?

Anna Jay & Tay Melo vs. Megan Bayne & Penelope Ford

A bitter grudge in the women’s division continues as Anna Jay reunites with her best friend, Tay Melo, to take on the duo of the “Megasus” Megan Bayne and Penelope Ford. On last week’s show, Bayne and Ford viciously ambushed Anna Jay, looking to injure her – even attempting to toss Anna off the stage – until Tay Melo made a dramatic return to AEW to even the odds. Melo’s surprise comeback ignited the crowd and saved Anna from serious harm, setting the stage for this tag team showdown.

Now, the popular TayJay pairing is back and looking to get payback for the attack. Bayne is a powerhouse who has been bulldozing through opponents, while Ford has longstanding bad blood with Anna, taunting her during the assault and reveling in the chaos. With pride and revenge on the line, this match could get brutal quickly. Will Anna and Tay’s sister-like bond and combined experience be enough to overcome Bayne’s overwhelming force and Penelope’s tricks?

Anthony Bowens vs. Kyle Fletcher

Bowens is coming off a high-profile singles outing in an AEW Continental Championship Eliminator Match against Kazuchika Okada, where he proved he can hang with the very best. Eager to build on that showing, the self-proclaimed “Five-Tool Player” is brimming with confidence – he even declared that at Summer Blockbuster he plans to “whip Kyle Fletcher… all over Portland.”

Will Bowens back up his bold words and show that he has all the tools to succeed on his own, or will Fletcher seize this moment and show the world what the Don Callis Family is all about?

Thekla vs. Queen Aminata

The devastating “Toxic Spider” Thekla made her AEW in-ring debut at Fyter Fest, and it was an emphatic one. The international star defeated Lady Frost in dominant fashion, using her signature “Death Trap” submission to force a tap-out and win her first AEW match decisively.

Not content with just a victory, Thekla continued to assault her opponent after the bell, viciously mauling Lady Frost, until Queen Aminata arrived to intervene. Aminata’s presence alone was enough to make Thekla skitter away for the moment, but the Queen has clearly become Thekla’s next target. Now, these two will face off one-on-one. Queen Aminata is no stranger to tough fights and won’t back down from the challenge.

Místico Returns

Lucha libre star Místico makes his return to AEW tonight at Summer Blockbuster. The CMLL icon has drawn the attention of MJF, who said last week that Mexico’s collective belief that Místico is the best wrestler in the world can’t be true – because Max is. Therefore, MJF claims he will be watching to see if the returning star is worthy of a match with the former AEW World Champion.
