Fairway to Hell Preview

Tonight, we tee it up for AEW Collision: Fairway to Hell, the 1-Hour Special LIVE from SoFi Center in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT on TBS and streaming on HBO Max. And tonight, you’ll get two championship matches in that one hour, including the second AEW World Title match of the week!

Darby Allin's white-knuckle AEW World Championship reign continues as he puts the world title on the line against his long-time foe, PAC, a man who holds a 2-1 singles record over Allin and used that fact to stake his claim to this title opportunity. After beating TNT Champion “The Jet” Kevin Knight on Dynamite, can Allin turn away a second, dangerous challenger in a span of just days in the Death Riders’ PAC tonight?

While the Jurassic Express may not be cart-path friendly, "Jungle" Jack Perry’s National Tour rolls into SoFi Center for his latest AEW National Championship defense in a rematch against Mark Davis of the Don Callis Family. Will Davis make good on his second shot at Perry and the National Title, or will Perry go 2-up on Davis and keep the National Tour rolling on?

And AEW Women's World Tag Team Champions Divine Dominion “Megasus” Megan Bayne and “Colossal” Lena Kross will be in action. Their domination of the AEW women’s division has become par for the course, so who will dare step up to them tonight?

There are plenty of issues to iron out as we continue the long drive to AEW Double or Nothing, just over two weeks away on May 24 in New York! Here's everything you need to know for AEW Collision: Fairway to Hell preview for May 9, 2026.

AEW Collision: Fairway to Hell Matches, Preview for Palm Beach Gardens

AEW World Championship Match: Darby Allin (c) vs. PAC of the Death Riders

On Wednesday's special Dynamite and Collision, Allin turned away the third different challenger to his AEW World Title in as many weeks with a hard-fought victory over “The Jet” Kevin Knight. Later in the night, PAC challenged Allin for the title, citing his 2-1 record over the champion as his reason for deserving a shot.

PAC and Allin first met in AEW way back in the main event of AEW Dynamite Bash at the Beach in January 2020, a victory for PAC. However, their rivalry went to a different level when the two literally went to dangerous heights throughout Allin’s battles with the Death Riders last year. It was PAC who beat Allin at Full Gear 2025, just 10 days after throwing him off the stage through a flaming table during Blood and Guts! Allin earned a measure of revenge when he beat PAC in January of this year on Dynamite Maximum Carnage to complete his mission of beating all the Death Riders. But as PAC noted, he still has the overall advantage with two wins to Allin’s one, which is why he called his shot as the thorn that never leaves Allin’s side.

The challenges continue to add up for Allin, who also verbally accepted AEW International Champion “The Rainmaker” Kazuchika Okada’s challenge for the AEW World Title next week on Dynamite, assuming he’s still champion after tonight. Plus, Allin told MJF a rematch could be his if MJF puts his hair on the line, with a contract waiting for him, also next week on Dynamite.

Can PAC bring the AEW World Title back to the Death Riders? Or will the breakneck pace of Allin roll on with his fourth successful defense of the AEW World Championship, which he won less than a month ago?

AEW National Championship Match: "Jungle" Jack Perry (c) vs. Mark Davis of the Don Callis Family

Perry has taken great pride in being the AEW National Champion, and with Luchasaurus behind the wheel, the Jurassic Express has been rolling right along on Perry’s National Tour. However, Perry now turns back to someone he’s already faced on this journey, Mark Davis of the Don Callis Family.

Perry and Davis previously met at AEW Dynasty Zero Hour, where Perry successfully defended the National Championship for the first time in a physical, hard-hitting battle. Perhaps the loss woke up something far more mean and brutal in Davis, as he’s been on a vicious tear. He earned this rematch thanks to the biggest singles win of his career via doctor’s stoppage over Will Ospreay last month on Dynamite.

Is it Davis’ time to crash the Jurassic Express and win his first AEW singles gold? Perry has no intentions of ending his National Tour anytime soon, so expect this rematch to light up SoFi Center tonight!

AEW Women’s World Tag Team Champions Divine Dominion in Action!

"Megasus" Megan Bayne and "Colossal" Lena Kross have been an unstoppable force since capturing the AEW Women's World Tag Team Championship at AEW Revolution back in March. No one has been able to slow them down, and tonight, they look to keep that standard of dominance up when they are in action at Fairway to Hell!
