AEW Collision Holiday Bash Matches, Preview for Saturday, December 20
Continental Classic Gold League: AEW Unified Champion “The Rainmaker” Kazuchika Okada (6 points) vs. “The Jet” Kevin Knight (3 points)
As Okada looks to repeat as AEW Continental Champion, he’ll have a chance to separate from the crowded pack at the top with six points. Meanwhile, Knight wants to join that pack, and a win over Okada would put him there.
Okada enters with the lone win between the two in an AEW Continental Championship Eliminator Match back in May. Who might shake up the standings with a win?
Continental Classic Gold League: “Speedball” Mike Bailey (6 points) vs. “Jungle” Jack Perry (0 points)
As his JetSpeed partner looks to join the group at the top, Bailey wants to keep his momentum going after beating Kyle Fletcher and Knight in successive matches. His attempt to break from the logjam in first place will come against the dangerous “Jungle” Jack Perry, who’s playing catch-up after replacing Allin.
Bailey and Perry have never met one-on-one, so this will be quite the stage to see that finally happen. Who will earn these coveted points? We’ll find out in Manchester!
Mercedes Moné Rev Pro Undisputed British Women’s Champion Open Challenge
In one week, Moné and ROH Women’s World Champion Athena will challenge the AEW Women’s World Tag Team Champions, The Babes of Wrath. First, today, she’ll hold an open challenge as the Rev Pro Undisputed British Women’s Champion against a local British wrestler. Who will step up and try to live forever against Moné?
Eddie Kingston vs. Nathan Cruz
As Kingston said on Dynamite, he’s disappointed he lost to AEW World Champion Samoa Joe, but he wants to learn from that loss and get back on the winning track. He’ll try to do that against the UK’s own Nathan Cruz today on Holiday Bash.
