AEW Collision Preview

We’re back in Las Vegas for AEW Collision tonight at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT on TNT and streaming on HBO Max! What will go down just one week from AEW Grand Slam Australia?

Last week, “Psycho Killer” Tommaso Ciampa debuted on Dynamite and beat Mark Briscoe for the TNT Championship on Collision. He promised to uphold the tradition of the TNT Title with an open challenge, so tonight, he’ll defend against CMLL World Heavyweight Champion Claudio Castagnoli and Roderick Strong in a 3-Way! Another match with championship implications will see the Young Bucks, Matt and Nick Jackson, take on GOA, Bishop Kaun and Toa Liona, for the right to enter the AEW World Tag Team Championship #1 Contenders Match next week on Dynamite against The Rascalz and a wild card team!

For the first time, we’ll see an 8-Man Parking Lot Fight. Grizzled Young Veterans enlisted the services of Big Bill and Bryan Keith last week to attack Eddie Kingston and Ortiz. Later, Kingston and Ortiz found some backup in The Rascalz’ Dezmond Xavier and Zachary Wentz, so tonight, all eight men will meet in the parking lot!

We’ll also hear exclusive post-match comments from AEW World Champion MJF after Brody King trounced him in less than 90 seconds in the AEW World Championship Eliminator on Dynamite. Next Saturday, MJF will put the AEW World Title on the line against King at AEW Grand Slam Australia!

Plus, Thekla will be in action before she gets her rematch against AEW Women’s World Champion Kris Statlander in four days on Dynamite, and Statlander will be in the house to announce the stipulation for that match. Also, SkyFlight’s Zayda Steel and Dante Martin will face the Death Riders’ Marina Shafir and Wheeler Yuta, a week before the latter duo puts hair on the line against “Timeless” Toni Storm and Orange Cassidy at Grand Slam Australia!

All that and so much more is happening tonight in Las Vegas! Here’s your complete AEW Collision preview for February 7, 2026.

AEW Collision Matches, Preview for Saturday, February 7

TNT Championship Match: “Psycho Killer” Tommaso Ciampa (c) vs. CMLL World Heavyweight Champion Claudio Castagnoli vs. Roderick Strong

It’s full steam ahead for one of the newest members of the AEW roster and the NEW TNT Champion, Tommaso Ciampa! A week after taking the TNT Title from Mark Briscoe on Collision, Ciampa will make good on his promise to respect the history of the title with an open challenge against both CMLL World Heavyweight Champion, Claudio Castagnoli and former AEW International Champion Roderick Strong.

Ciampa and Strong have a history that goes back to their first meeting for the ROH World TV Title nearly 14 years ago. And while Castagnoli and Strong have battled for decades, including Castagnoli’s successful CMLL World Heavyweight Championship defense on Collision two weeks ago, Castagnoli has almost no history with Ciampa. This hard-hitting affair is what the TNT Championship is all about, and it goes down tonight in Vegas!

We’ll Hear Exclusive Post Match Comments From AEW World Champion MJF!

What could AEW World Champion MJF possibly have had to say after he was embarrassed by Brody King in less than two minutes in the AEW World Championship Eliminator Match on Dynamite? That win means King gets his coveted AEW World Title match against MJF next Saturday at AEW Grand Slam, after all. And how will MJF address “Hangman” Adam Page’s presence during the Eliminator and Page’s Grand Slam match with Andrade El Ídolo for the AEW World Title shot at AEW Revolution on March 15?

We’ll Hear From AEW Women’s World Champion Kris Statlander!

After agreeing to give Thekla a rematch on Dynamite next week in order to keep Triangle of Madness from interfering in this past Wednesday’s AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championship Eliminator Match, AEW Women’s World Champion Kris Statlander will be on Collision tonight! She decided to make Thekla wait to announce the stipulation for their AEW Women’s World Championship match in four days – so what kind of stipulation does Statlander have in mind?

8-Man Parking Lot Fight: Eddie Kingston, Ortiz & The Rascalz (Dezmond Xavier and Zachary Wentz) vs. Grizzled Young Veterans (Zack Gibson and James Drake), Big Bill & Bryan Keith

This won’t be the normal parking lot hangout for Kingston, Ortiz and the Rascalz. Kingston and Ortiz have ongoing issues with the Grizzled Young Veterans, but last week on Collision, the two sides agreed to no violence as they met face-to-face, only for Big Bill and Bryan Keith to attack Kingston and Ortiz. We learned that GYV paid them for the attack, so later that night, Kingston accepted the offer of Xavier and Wentz to join him and Ortiz to face GYV, Big Bill and Bryan Keith in an 8-man parking lot fight!

Kingston has been dealing with Bill and Keith since returning to AEW and beating Bill at All Out last year. His problems with Grizzled Young Veterans are what prompted Ortiz’s return to even the odds. Not much has been settled, so now, a week after their in-ring debut, the Rascalz will join the fight to back up their “Uncle Eddie.” There will be nothing pretty about this fight, and with eight men going at it, who knows what chaos will go down in a Las Vegas parking lot?

Tag Team Match (Winners Move to AEW World Tag Team Championship #1 Contenders Match on Dynamite): Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson) vs. GOA (Bishop Kaun and Toa Liona)

The Young Bucks promised to bring their Superkick Party back to AEW starting this past week at Dynamite, but instead, they found themselves coming to the aid of “Jungle” Jack Perry when GOA tried to get involved in his AEW National Championship match with Ricochet. While the Bucks were able to subdue GOA, Ricochet still came away victorious.

Now, GOA will have a chance to move closer to even more gold for The Demand, while the Bucks begin their journey to a fourth AEW World Tag Team Championship reign. Of course, neither team is guaranteed anything other than a spot in the 3-Way #1 Contenders Match on next week’s Dynamite, which includes Dezmond Xavier and Myron Reed of the Rascalz and a third wild-card team.

Can the Bucks punch their ticket to a homefield advantage in Ontario, California, on Dynamite? Or will GOA power their way to victory, further establishing The Demand's dominance?

“The Toxic Spider” Thekla Will Be in Action!

Thekla already has a big night ahead of her, as she’ll learn the stipulation for this Wednesday’s AEW Women’s World Championship rematch from Kris Statlander. In addition to that, Thekla will be in action on Collision ahead of that huge matchup. What toxic web will Thekla spin to prepare for one of the biggest matches of her career in four days on Dynamite?

Mixed Tag Team Match: Marina Shafir & Wheeler Yuta of the Death Riders vs. SkyFlight’s Zayda Steel & Dante Martin

Will this be the last time we see Shafir or Yuta with hair on Collision? Next Saturday at Grand Slam Australia, they’ll face “Timeless” Toni Storm and Orange Cassidy in a mixed tag match where the loser of the fall will get their head shaved! Tonight, Shafir and Yuta will try to build some momentum against Zayda Steel and Dante Martin of SkyFlight!

Singles Match: AEW World Trios Champion “The Jet” Kevin Knight vs. Scorpio Sky of SkyFlight

Knight is ready to take off in 2026! The Jet already won the AEW World Trios Championship with his JetSet Rodeo partners, “Speedball” Mike Bailey and “Hangman” Adam Page, but tonight he’ll be in singles action against two-time TNT Champion Scorpio Sky of SkyFlight!

Singles Match: Mina Shirakawa vs. Viva Van

Mina Shirakawa is never one to back down from a fight, so while her Timeless Love Bombs partner, “Timeless” Toni Storm, deals with the Death Riders alongside Orange Cassidy, Shirakawa will be in action tonight when she collides with Viva Van!
