AEW Collision Tonight: Preview for May 8

We'll Hear From Toni Storm!

According to Tony Khan, the AEW Women's World Champion will start things off on a very special Thursday edition of AEW Dynamite, live on TBS. Fresh off of her win in a 4-Way Title Eliminator match, the Timeless champion should have plenty to say, as always.

Willow Nightingale vs. Kris Statlander

The complex and tumultuous history between Willow Nightingale and Kris Statlander is on the verge of another chapter tonight. Former friends and tag team partners, their relationship fractured after Statlander's betrayal at Double or Nothing 2024, where she attacked Nightingale post-match, aligning herself with Stokely. Their last singles encounter was a brutal Chicago Street Fight at All Out 2024, where Statlander emerged victorious. Now, with unresolved tensions still simmering and Nightingale not quite ready to be friends again, Nightingale and Statlander face off once more in Detroit.

Daniel Garcia vs. A Member of FTR

Daniel Garcia is on a mission for answers and has issued a challenge to either Dax Harwood or Cash Wheeler of FTR. Garcia's grievances stem from a deeply personal betrayal. At AEW Dynasty 2025, FTR turned on their longtime ally, Cope, attacking him after their match. Garcia was also assaulted by the duo just a couple of weeks later. This double-cross has fueled Garcia's desire for retribution, leading to his challenge of either Dax Harwood or Cash Wheeler. Whether it's Harwood, Wheeler, or both, Garcia is prepared to confront FTR head-on tonight.

8-Man Tag Team Match: The Outrunners, AR Fox and Bandido vs. the Don Callis Family

On Wednesday's Dynamite, Callis called out Truth Magnum and Turbo Floyd, just days after the Don Callis Family put a beating on the Outrunners for being, in their eyes, a nuisance backstage. Things have escalated, as we'll see both Outrunners teaming up with AR Fox and ROH World Champion Bandido to take on Kyle Fletcher, Trent Beretta, Rocky Romero and Lance Archer.

Ricochet vs. Angelico

After a huge win on Dynamite, the increasingly notorious Ricochet collides with internationally renowned grappler Angelico. Will these two put on the master class we know they can? Or will shenanigans be involved?

Anthony Bowens vs. Lee Johnson

After a confrontation last week on Collision when both Lee Johnson and Blake Christian interrupted Anthony Bowens, "The Pride of Professional Wrestling" goes one-on-one with Johnson.

"Speedball" Mike Bailey vs. Dralistico 2

In what should be an absolutely electric rematch, "Speedball" Mike Bailey faces Dralistico once again. Their previous encounter showcased their incredible athleticism and competitive fire, setting the stage for tonight's sequel.

And more!
