AEW Collision Preview

We’re back in Houston for AEW Collision LIVE tonight at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT on TNT and streaming on HBO Max! With just four days until Blood & Guts and two weeks until AEW Full Gear presented by DC, tensions are on the rise with lots to settle tonight!

The Blood & Guts Advantage Battles for both the men and women will conclude tonight on Collision. On the men’s side, Jon Moxley and Roderick Strong will fight to break the 1-1 tie and determine which team takes the advantage into the men’s Blood & Guts this Wednesday. These two know each other well, so this should be an intense battle with high stakes.

On the women’s side, Jamie Hayter will try to keep hope alive for her team when she takes on Skye Blue in Match 2 of the women’s Advantage Battle. Megan Bayne defeated Mina Shirakawa on Dynamite to take a 1-0 lead for Bayne’s side, so if Blue wins, the team of Bayne, Blue, Julia Hart, Thekla, Marina Shafir and Mercedes Moné will have the advantage. If Hayter wins, we’ll see the decisive Match 3 between Harley Cameron and Thekla.

All that and much more comes to you live tonight from Houston for Collision! Here’s your complete AEW Collision preview for November 8, 2025.

AEW Collision Matches, Preview for Saturday, November 8

Men’s Blood & Guts Advantage Battle Match 3: Jon Moxley vs. Roderick Strong

This will be the final match of the Blood & Guts Advantage Battle for the men, giving Moxley and Strong the chance to earn the decisive victory for their team and the advantage heading into Wednesday’s Blood & Guts match. On Dynamite, Claudio Castagnoli beat Orange Cassidy in Match 1. Later in the night, Darby Allin defeated Daniel Garcia to tie things up and force the deciding Match 3 between Moxley and Strong tonight!

Strong has been laser-focused on the Death Riders, and especially Moxley, for the last two months. In their lone meeting at September to Remember, Moxley came away victorious, although he got plenty of help from Wheeler Yuta, Marina Shafir and Daniel Garcia. Obviously, Strong will always have to worry about the other members of the Death Riders. However, Moxley hasn’t won a match in a month and hasn’t seemed the same since saying, “I quit,” to Allin at WrestleDream.

Who will break the tie to earn the advantage for their team in Blood & Guts?

Women’s Blood & Guts Advantage Battle Match 2: Jamie Hayter vs. Skye Blue

Jamie Hayter walks into Collision in a must-win situation with her team down 1-0 in the Advantage Battle after Megan Bayne beat Mina Shirakawa on Dynamite. She’ll also come in with a lot of revenge on her mind after Blue and Julia Hart beat her and Queen Aminta (with help from Thekla) in the AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championship Tournament. To make matters worse, Aminata was injured in the match, which is why Shirakawa replaced her on their Blood & Guts team.

For Blue, this is a chance to earn the advantage for her team and make Match 3 unnecessary. However, Blue needs to overcome her past with Hayter, as she’s winless against Hayter in singles matches, including a loss on Dynamite last month.

Can Hayter avenge Aminata and last week’s loss to force the third and final match, or will Blue make it a sweep to win the advantage for her side?

Women’s Blood & Guts Advantage Battle Match 3 (if necessary): Harley Cameron vs. “The Toxic Spider” Thekla

If Hayter defeats Blue, it’ll be Cameron battling Thekla in the rubber match of the women’s Advantage Battle. Thekla remains undefeated in singles competition on Collision since her debut in June, with her only singles loss coming to Hayter at WrestleDream. As the anchor of her team, Thekla poses a tough challenge for Cameron, although with the way this week has gone, the stars might be aligning for Cameron.

On Dynamite, Cameron and Willow Nightingale upset ROH Women’s World Champion Athena and TBS Champion Mercedes Moné when Cameron pinned Athena to advance to the semifinals of the AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championship Tournament.

The fearless Cameron has battled against Thekla before, although this would be their first singles match. Will this match be necessary, and if so, will Thekla remain undefeated on Collision, or will Cameron’s momentum score her another upset to win the Advantage Battle?

Tag Team Match: FTR (Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood) vs. Bang Bang Gang (Austin Gunn and Juice Robinson)

Cash Wheeler & Dax Harwood are two weeks away from challenging Brodido for the AEW World Tag Team Championships at AEW Full Gear, but tonight, they’ll have their hands full with Austin Gunn and Juice Robinson of the Bang Bang Gang. This is a rematch of the AEW World Tag Team Championship Eliminator Tournament Semifinal, which FTR won back in July.

Last week, Gunn, Robinson, and Ace Austin had an impressive victory over MxM TV in their casting call. The addition of Ace Austin has undoubtedly given the Bang Bang Gang renewed confidence. FTR will have their hands full with Gunn and Robinson, and they may need to watch their backs for Bandido and Brody King after FTR and Big Stoke terrorized Bandido’s family while Brodido was trapped in their locker room.

Can the Bang Bang Gang continue their winning ways? Or will FTR continue to build momentum en route to Full Gear?

“The Protostar” Kyle Fletcher TNT Championship Open Challenge vs. Ace Austin

At Full Gear, Fletcher will put his TNT Championship on the line once again against Mark Briscoe in a No DQ Match – but if Fletcher wins, Briscoe has to join the Don Callis Family.

However, before we get there, Fletcher has decided to defend the TNT Championship tonight in an open challenge, something he announced when he interrupted AEW GM & CEO Tony Khan during a live stream shortly before Collision, and Khan named Ace Austin as Fletcher's opponent!

TayJay Will be in Action!

Ahead of their upcoming quarterfinal match against Megan Bayne and Marina Shafir in the AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championship Tournament, Tay Melo and Anna Jay will be in action tonight! Are they primed to make a run at the championships they’ve been dreaming of for years? What kind of message will they send to Bayne and Shafir?
