AEW Collision Matches, Preview for October 4, 2025

Trios Match: Jon Moxley, Daniel Garcia & Claudio Castagnoli of the Death Riders vs. Jay Lethal, Adam Priest & “Dynamite Kid” Tommy Billington

The Death Riders sent a brutal message to Darby Allin on Dynamite, and tonight, they’ll look to continue the violence against ROH legend Jay Lethal and the upstart team of Adam Priest and Tommy Billington.

It's a great test for Lethal, Priest, and Billington in their first time teaming together. Priest and Billington had a couple of impressive outings against FTR over the past month, as they continue to stand out as a team to watch.

Moxley, Garcia and Castagnoli are looking for their third win in as many weeks on Collision, although Moxley must be keeping an eye out for Allin with just two weeks until their I Quit match at WrestleDream on Saturday, October 18, in St. Louis, Missouri.

AEW Women’s World Champion Kris Statlander & “Timeless” Toni Storm Come Face-to-Face

Toni Storm returned to Hollywood … Florida this past Wednesday on Dynamite with a victory over Tay Melo, but Storm didn’t seem like herself.

After the win, she said that when the bell rang at the end of the 4-Way Match for the AEW Women’s World Championship at AEW All Out, she was gobbled up by the deep silence, realizing that she was now looking at a glorious champion in Kris Statlander.

But that was a 4-Way Match, and Storm said she needs to know if Statlander can do it again in a one-on-one match, so she made the request. Statlander was happy to accept, as they haven’t had that singles match during their respective time in AEW – something that will be rectified on October 18 at WrestleDream with the AEW Women’s World Championship on the line.

After Statlander was victorious alongside Darby Allin in the Dynamite main event this week, Storm appeared in the aisle, where she exchanged smiles with Statlander before coming to blows. Tonight, they’ll be face-to-face once again!

Trios Match: Hechicero, Rocky Romero & Lance Archer of the Don Callis Family vs. Orange Cassidy & Paragon (Kyle O’Reilly and Roderick Strong)

On Dynamite, Orange Cassidy might have been on his way to defeating “The Protostar” Kyle Fletcher for the TNT Championship. But we never found out, because someone we originally thought was Hologram knocked Cassidy off the top rope, giving Fletcher the chance to finish the job for the victory.

The Hologram imposter revealed himself as El Clon, becoming the newest member of the Don Callis Family (on the same night Andrade el Idolo joined the impressive group after making a shocking return to attack Kenny Omega earlier in the night, no less).

While O’Reilly and Strong were there to save Cassidy from further harm from El Clon and Fletcher, Callis brought out the entire Family in a clear display of power and intimidation. Three of those Family members will continue the rivalry tonight when Hechicero, Rocky Romero and Lance Archer look to inflict more punishment on behalf of Callis.

Can Cassidy and Paragon get a measure of revenge for the TNT Title robbery? It’s another big-time Trios Match on Collision!

Eddie Kingston vs. Dralístico

Eddie Kingston has been doing what he does best in AEW since his return – fighting and talking trash, especially with HOOK by his side.

Tonight, Kingston turns his attention to La Facción Ingobernable when he faces Dralístico. After some harsh words from Dralístico’s LFI partner and Kingston’s old rival, Sammy Guevara, Kingston warned Dralístico not to let Guevara talk for him, because Kingston is not coming to kick Guevara’s ass – he’s coming for Dralístico.

Will Kingston continue to build on the momentum he’s had since returning? Or is LFI too hot right now for anyone to stop?

“The Jet” Kevin Knight vs. A Member of FTR

Last week on Dynamite, “The Jet” Kevin Knight and “Speedball” Mike Bailey came to the aid of Willow Nightingale when she confronted FTR and Big Stoke about their heinous actions towards Beth Copeland at AEW All Out. And days ago, Knight threw out the challenge for either Dax Harwood or Cash Wheeler to face him on Collision. While FTR agreed to the match, they refused to reveal who would face Knight, meaning he’ll have to wait until tonight to find out.

FTR beat JetSpeed in the AEW World Tag Team Title Eliminator Tournament back in July, so the two teams certainly know each other, although a singles match is a different type of battle.

Who will it be for FTR? Can Knight strike back in this budding rivalry?

ROH World Tag Team Champions Sammy Guevara & RUSH in Action

While Guevara had plenty to say about Kingston, he has his own match to focus on tonight when he and RUSH are in action. Since Guevara joined LFI, they’ve had a renewed sense of direction and intensity, which has been evident during this duo’s past month as ROH World Tag Team Champions. We’ll see Guevara and RUSH team up tonight!

Anna Jay vs. Jamie Hayter

Anna Jay was inspired by her tag partner, Tay Melo, challenging former AEW Women’s World Champion “Timeless” Toni Storm, so she decided to challenge another former AEW Women’s World Champion herself: Jamie Hayter!

It will be their first singles match since Hayter beat Jay in the TBS Title Tournament back in 2021. Four years later, they'll fight again, tonight on Collision!

MxM TV’s Casting Call

For the first time ever, MxM TV will present their Casting Call! According to Mansoor, they acquired the rights to Max Caster’s Open Challenge, so tonight, any three members of MxM TV will face any three members of the AEW locker room. Who will step up to answer the challenge?
