AEW Collision Results

AEW Collision was LIVE from Roanoke, Virginia on TNT and HBO Max, and what a special Saturday night it was with three championship showdowns and the return of “Hangman” Adam Page!

Page opened Collision in front of his home state and promised to be a man of his word and never to challenge for the AEW World Championship again. However, he still has a lot of road left to travel and turned his attention to other AEW championships, specifically the TNT Title, AEW National Title, AEW International Title and AEW Continental Championship!

Hikaru Shida successfully defended her TBS Title for the first time against a very game Harley Cameron. When Shida tried to do more damage after the match, Queen Aminata came out to make the save! Bandido kept the ROH World Championship with his victory over Katsuyori Shibata of The Opps. And in the main event, AEW National Champion Mark Davis took everything “Speedball” Mike Bailey could throw at him and still managed to keep his title.

Plus, Willow Nightingale laid out her new plans to get to Wembley Stadium for AEW All In: London and challenged Mercedes Moné and AEW World Tag Team Champions, Divine Dominion, to face her, Maya and Hyan next week on Dynamite in Moné’s hometown of Boston!

All that and so much more went down on a jam-packed night in Roanoke for Collision! Here are your complete results!

AEW Collision Recap Tonight for Roanoke

"Hangman" Adam Page Returns with a New Championship Focus

After looking back at Kenny Omega’s AEW World Championship victory over MJF at Beach Break, Tony Schiavone introduced Virginia’s own "Hangman" Adam Page! For the first time since losing to MJF four months ago at AEW Revolution, Page is back in AEW!

Schiavone asked Hangman how it felt to be back and home in Virginia. Hangman took the microphone and explained his love of gardening, including how much he enjoyed planting a seed and watching it grow. Page said he wishes he didn’t know as much as he does about cervical radiculopathy. Page said tonight in Roanoke, he wants to plant one more seed. He doesn’t know if it’ll blossom into something. Page reminded everyone that he put his ability to ever challenge for the AEW World Championship on the line when he lost to MJF in a Texas Death Match. Page said he knew the stipulation wasn’t signed in ink and that it lives inside him. He wants everyone to know he’s a man of his word.

“I will never challenge for the All Elite Wrestling Men’s World Championship again.”

Page watched when Omega won the AEW World Championship because it was important to him. Page said what was most important is what Omega said after the match: to finish the race. Page said he’s in a strange situation, but what he sees is miles and miles of empty track stretching before him.

“The TNT Championship! Currently held by someone who is a former partner of mine and current dipshit, Kevin Knight!”

“The National Championship! Currently held by Mark Davis, but perhaps by the end of the night, held by another former partner of mine, ‘Speedball’ Mike Bailey.”

“The Continental Championship! Held by a man who I’d never turn down another fight with in Jon Moxley!”

“And the International Championship. Held by your newly crowned champion, Kyle Fletcher.”

Page said for seven years he defined himself by the goal he held above all others: to hold the AEW World Championship. And now Page is faced with the question:

“Who is Hangman Page without the world championship?”

“And the truth is, I don’t know, but we are damn sure going to find out, aren’t we? Because tonight, tonight, I can hear his words after all these years echo back to me, truer now than ever before. I am going to have to find something else to do. And you can bet your ass I will!”

After Page exited, we reviewed the wild events of Beach Break, including multiple title changes!

ROH World Championship Match: Bandido (c) def. Katsuyori Shibata of The Opps

The opening contest was the first of THREE championship bouts tonight in Roanoke. Shibata entered this match with a 19-match win streak in ROH while Bandido entered with over 460 days in his second reign as ROH World Champion.

Bandido and Shibata had an extended feeling-out process to open the match, and then the two shook hands to a big ovation. Shibata worked Bandido down to the mat, but the two put each other in heel hooks at the same time until they reached the ropes. Shibata offered another handshake, but this time, he pulled Bandido in for a cheap shot to the gut. The crowd hated that, and Shibata egged them on. Shibata and Bandido exchanged running boots in the corner until Shibata put Bandido down and kicked him between the shoulder blades for a near-fall. Shibata sent Bandido to the corner, but Bandido kicked his way free and hit a standing frog splash on Shibata from the top! Shibata tried to send Bandido to the ropes, but the referee was in the way, so Bandido stopped short. That gave Shibata the chance to low blow Bandido! He crotched Bandido on the top rope and booted him to the floor! The crowd was letting Shibata have it!

Shibata continued the punishment around the ringside area and returned Bandido to the ring to continue the beatdown. Bandido battled his way back to his feet, and the two traded strikes until they took each other out with spinning back fists. They both wound up on the apron and reversed each other’s suplex attempts until Shibata DDTed Bandido on the apron and held on for a vertical suplex on the floor. Shibata threw Bandido back in and covered him for a two-count. They both got back to their feet and exchanged huge chops until Bandido hit two thrust kicks followed by a gorilla press slam! Bandido dragged Shibata to the corner and went up top for a shooting star press that connected! 1-2-Shibata kicked out! Bandido was shocked!

Bandido put Shibata on his back and tried to flip him for the X-Knee, but Shibata landed on his feet and brought an elbow down on the top of Bandido’s thigh. Bandido collapsed into the corner, so Shibata followed with a hesitation dropkick. Shibata floated Bandido over with a butterfly suplex and covered, but Bandido kicked out, keeping his reign alive! Bandido avoided a PK and grabbed Shibata to chop him in the chest. Bandido hit an X-Knee on the second attempt and followed with a 21 Plex, but Shibata reversed it with a standing switch, allowing him to roll up Bandido for a near-fall. Shibata came off the ropes and connected with a PK to Bandido’s chest, but couldn’t capitalize on the damage. Bandido flipped Shibata head over heels with a hurricanrana for a near-fall. Bandido and Shibata traded heavy strikes, but Shibata dropped Bandido with a clothesline from the corner. Bandido came back with a Pele Kick, but Shibata fought back with shots to the back. Shibata tried for another low blow, but Bandido caught it and rolled Shibata into a pinning predicament for the three-count! Bandido retains the ROH World Title!

Hikaru Shida & Harley Cameron Have Words Before Their TBS Title Match

Earlier today, Renee Paquette caught up with Hikaru Shida and Harley Cameron before they faced off tonight. Cameron gives Shida credit for becoming TBS Champion, and Shida said she told everyone she’d win and that she did it alone. And Cameron isn’t on her level. Cameron cut her off and said she went through a lot while Shida was gone, and that she can also say she’s been a champion. Shida reminded Cameron that TBS stands for “The Best is Shida!”

“Speedball” Mike Bailey Has Big Plans for the AEW National Championship

Lexy Nair asked Bailey if tonight’s AEW National Championship match with Mark Davis was a chance to prove something. Bailey said he let Don Callis get inside his head and that was a mistake. Now, he’s focused. He’s going to beat Mark Davis to win the National Championship tonight and then beat the winner of Andrade vs. Jake Doyle on Dynamite. And he will show people like Kevin Knight that you don’t need shortcuts. Bailey will walk into his hometown of Montreal for AEW Redemption as AEW National Champion!

TBS Championship Match: Hikaru Shida (c) def. Harley Cameron

As referee Paul Turner was presenting the TBS Championship, Shida ran across the ring to attack Cameron before the bell. Cameron said she was good enough to continue, so when the bell rang, Shida immediately dropped her with a brainbuster! 1-2-Cameron kicked out! Shida slammed Cameron’s head into the mat repeatedly as the crowd chanted for both women. Shida swung Cameron around and dropped her face-first on the mat. Cameron came off the ropes and got Shida down with a single-leg, but Shida nailed some upkicks. Shida and Cameron traded shots near the apron, then exchanged positions until Cameron hit a variation of Sole Food on Shida, sending her to the floor. Cameron came through the ropes with double boots to Shida! Cameron DDTed Shida on the floor, breaking the count. Cameron chased Shida up the ramp, but Shida raked Cameron in the eyes. Shida hit Cameron with a backbreaker and then dragged Cameron to the side of the ramp. With Cameron hanging over the side, Shida hit a devastating running knee!

Shida dragged Cameron back to the ring and continued to grind her down until Cameron hit a desperation neckbreaker. Cameron hit a couple of kicks in the corner and mounted Shida for a barrage of punches. Cameron came off the ropes with a running neckbreaker, then followed up with a Shining Wizard! Shida kicked out just in time! Cameron went to the top rope, but Shida met her with a shot to the head. Cameron tried to sunset flip powerbomb Shida out of the corner, but Shida held on and bit Cameron in the head! Shida put Cameron down with an enzuigiri. Cameron caught Shida’s leg and bit it! Shida slapped Cameron, so Cameron chopped back. Cameron hit a Falcon Arrow for a near-fall! That’s Shida’s move! Cameron locked on a half crab, but Shida grabbed the referee’s leg, allowing her to reach the ropes and break the hold.

Cameron pulled Shida up for a reverse suplex, but Shida rolled it into a near-fall. Shida caught Cameron in an ankle lock, but Cameron kicked her way free. Cameron hit a kick to the back of Shida’s head, but ran right into a Tamashii! Cameron kicked out! Shida dumped Cameron on her head, but Cameron still managed to kick out at two. Shida locked Cameron in a devastating arm-and-leg stretch to get the submission victory! Shida continued to beat down Cameron until Queen Aminata arrived on the scene to a huge reaction and made the save!

Matt Sydal Warns The Lethal Twist About The Demand

Lexy Nair asked The Lethal Twist what was going on with them and The Demand, but before they could answer, Matt Sydal ran up to Jay Lethal and said that, as someone who’s known him for 20 years, joining The Demand would be a mistake. Ricochet, Bishop Kaun and Toa Liona arrived and reminded everyone that he used to tag with Sydal and they were even the NJPW Jr. Heavyweight Tag Team Champions, but Sydal has kinda fallen off since then. Sydal said sarcastically, "You’ve won a lot of tag team championships since then.” Liona warned Sydal to watch his mouth, but Ricochet calmed Liona down. Ricochet said that the next time he and Sydal meet in the ring, he’ll show Sydal why he moved on from Sydal’s “musty ass.” Ricochet counted that Sydal was outnumbered 6-1 and asked him if he had anything else to say.

“Yeah, you’re bald!” Sydal took off, but Ricochet was held back. Ricochet and Lethal let cooler heads prevail.

Kyle Fletcher Lays Out Tonight’s Don Callis Family Business

With Brian Cage, Trent Beretta and Jake Doyle clapping backstage, AEW National Champion Mark Davis introduced the new AEW International Champion, Kyle Fletcher! Fletcher said it feels great to be standing here as champion again and to put that “prick” Takeshita in his rearview mirror. Fletcher talked up Davis before his National Title defense against Bailey in the main event and Doyle’s match with Andrade next week on Dynamite, but he said his ears were burning because he heard Hangman was talking about him. He said the Callis Family has three championships, including the TNT Title, which Kevin Knight holds. But that’s also the title that Fletcher never lost, but had to give up because of an injury suffered against The Rascalz. So tonight, Brian Cage is going to take care of Zachary Wentz. Beretta asked if he could go and addressed Darby Allin. He asked if something was wrong with Allin for using explosives on “this beautiful muscle man," pointing to Cage. Beretta said he’d face Allin tonight, but surprise, Allin is off doing motorcycle tricks.

“Guys, I think it’s pretty safe to say, Darby Allin fears Trent Beretta.”

Fletcher said even though Don Callis isn’t here tonight, everything they do is for him. And they will forever run AEW.

After that, we took a special look at last night’s first AEW Brawl in the Ballpark event at Target Field in Minnesota!

Willow Nightingale Pivoted to Keep Her Wembley Dream Alive

AEW World Trios Champions Orange Cassidy, Kyle Fletcher and Roderick Strong of The Conglomeration made their way to the ring, as we saw highlights of Cassidy’s win over Wheeler Yuta last night at Brawl in the Ballpark. Cassidy asked if everyone saw Brawl in the Ballpark because it was pretty cool. He said the three of them are champions, but there’s someone else in The Conglomeration who wants to be champion. Willow Nightingale made her way to the ring! The crowd was thrilled to see Willow just days after she returned and won the Casino Gauntlet at Beach Break, earning an AEW Women’s World Championship match with Thekla at Redemption.

Willow thanked the fans and told them how much she missed them. Willow said two months ago, she hurt her shoulder and had to give up the TBS Championship and drop out of the Owen. She congratulated Shida and Mercedes Moné because the opportunities were there and they both stepped up. Willow said sitting at home for the amazing Double or Nothing in her hometown was tough, but she wasn’t sitting at home crying about it. She wasn’t going to let her Wembley dreams go up in smoke, so she was home getting stronger, more motivated, and more focused. When she heard about the Casino Gauntlet, she knew it was her chance, so she took a gamble, and now the “Babe with the Power” has one more shot. One more chance at redemption. But before she could celebrate, she was attacked by Thekla and then Moné. She knows they are trying to send messages about who runs the division. Willow said they mistook her smile as a weakness. For Willow, Redemption means the worst day of her career doesn’t have to define the rest of her career. Willow said Thekla has been a great champion, but two months ago her shoulder couldn’t carry the weight of the world, so she pivoted. And at Redemption she can carry it around her waist. Nothing is stopping her at Redemption.

“Thekla, I’m walking in the #1 contender, but I’m walking out the AEW Women’s World Champion!”

Willow had a rainbow backpack ready for some gold.

“And Mercedes, I’m the one you’ll be facing at All In. YEAAAAAAAHHHHHH!”

The Conglomeration hugged and left with their backpacks.

Skye Blue Sends a Message to Divine Dominion

As we saw highlights from Julia Hart’s win over Hyan at Brawl at the Ballpark, Blue said Hart made it her own personal playground. And Blue added that Willow will be hearing from Thekla herself, but Triangle of Madness operates in their own ways. Blue had a message for Divine Dominion: “Whatever your little problem with us is, keep it coming. We don’t tolerate pain; we live on it. So you may be tall Amazons, but that doesn’t hold a torch to being a violent little thing.”

Death Riders (Wheeler Yuta, Claudio Castagnoli, Daniel Garcia and AEW Continental Champion Jon Moxley) def. Komander, Top Flight (Dante and Darius Martin) & AR Fox

Darius and Garcia started this one off, and both took each other down to the mat, with Darius adding Garcia’s old dance at the end to taunt him. Darius hit a dropkick and tagged Dante, who threw Garcia into Darius for a Manhattan Drop and then followed with a bulldog into Darius’ knee. Dante hit a standing shooting star press for a near-fall. Fox tagged in and hit a spinning suplex on Garcia for a one-count. Garcia struck Fox in the neck and tagged Moxley! Moxley wrenched Fox’s arm and brought him down to the mat. Fox escaped with a snapmere and tagged Komander, so Moxley tagged Castagnoli. Komander took his time entering, demonstrating his rope skills, so Castagnoli just kicked him in the gut.

Komander flipped over Castagnoli and tried a springboard crossbody, but Castagnoli caught it and hit a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker. Yuta tagged in, but neither he nor Komander could corral Komander. Komander hit a step-up enzuigiri to knock Castagnoli to the floor, but Yuta immediately pounced on Komander with punches. Yuta whipped Komander to the corner, so he ran up the ropes and took Castagnoli down with a hurricanrana to the floor! Komander took Yuta down with a flying crossbody and a tilt-a-whirl slam. Everyone came in to break it up, and it turned into a brawl, with the Death Riders coming out on top.

Yuta controlled Dante by keeping him on the mat and out of the air. Dante punched his way free, and then leaped into the air for a beautiful escape as Yuta went to the floor. Castagnoli threw Dante to the floor, so Garcia and Yuta put the boots to him. Darius came flying through the ropes to take out Garcia and Yuta! Darius celebrated, then got hit with a big boot from Castagnoli. While he and Moxley celebrated, Komander ran across ropes from one side of the ring to the other and took out Castagnoli and Moxley with a twisting body press!

“HOLY SHIT!” rang out from the Roanoke crowd!

Fox took out Yuta and Garcia with a somersault from the top rope! Fox was evasive with them, as he struck and moved with a pair of cutters, then dove to both sides of the ring! Fox came off the top with a senton, but Garcia got his knees up! Castagnoli swung Fox for an extended time, but Top Flight hit a double-team DDT on Castagnoli. They took Moxley to the floor and Dante nailed a dive through the ropes! Yuta and Garcia stomped Dante in their corner until Komander tried to take them on by himself. They hit a double flapjack followed by a double dropkick, but didn’t see Fox come off the top with a double senton! Fox covered Garcia for a near-fall! Fox went back up top and tried a 450, but Garcia moved, so Fox rolled through. He got clobbered in the corner over and over by the Death Riders until Garcia locked in a Dragontamer and Moxley stomped Fox so that Garcia could cover for the win.

Moxley got the mic and said that was a little too easy for them. They love the heat and this humidity. Castagnoli just got back from Mexico City and the high altitude there, but Moxley said that’s something people who are out of shape made up. Who is going to beat the Death Riders? Those flippy guys? Is Kenny Omega going to beat Will Ospreay? It’s the Death Riders vs. the world!

AEW Women’s World Tag Team Champions Divine Dominion Respond to Sisters of Sin

“Megasus” Megan Bayne said just like any good CEO knows, sometimes you just have to take business into your own hands. “Colossal” Lena Kross said just like Mercedes Moné is with the World Title scene, Kross and Bayne are disgusted with the tag team division. Kross said they have people like “Sisters of Stupid” running around swinging weapons because they’re “hardcore,” like that’s something to brag about. Kross said they aren’t violent little things, they are desperate little things, who are nothing more than the dirt beneath their mountain.

“Just keep holding Thekla’s bag, because you’ll never be holding these.”

Thekla Has Threats for Mercedes Moné and Willow Nightingale

“There are only three people that I trust: Skye, Julia and myself. Everybody else is an enemy now.”

Thekla said everybody knows what I do to presidents, so she doesn’t have to say what she does to CEOs. And Willow, she finally figured it out. She got hurt so she could skip the Owen and jump right to the front of the line. Maybe Willow is too busy being a baby, while Thekla is a real woman. Thekla said Willow can keep making her videos and hugging her mom because, “The only thing that’s funnier than a dumb bitch is a happy one.”

Bang Bang Gang Visit An Adoption Center In Honor of The Dogs

Jay White and Bang Bang Gang visited Angels of Assísi and decided to adopt two dogs. The first was “Finlay,” who Colten Gunn described as a “nepo baby bitch.” And Austin Gunn had “Clark,” who was filthy and humps a lot. Ace Austin said they like to mess around, but these dogs are actually up for adoption and could be yours. White said, "Take it from someone who knows," and Juice Robinson appeared wild-eyed!

“Dogs, we’re gonna euthanize you, scrutinize you, circumcise you, and then we’re gonna stick your noses in a pile of your own feces!”

White pleaded for people to give the canine dogs a new life because they were gonna end the other (human) ones.

Don Callis Family's Brian Cage (w/ Trent Beretta) def. The Rascalz's Zachary Wentz

With his head still wrapped from Darby Allin’s exploding skateboard, Cage made his way to the ring with Beretta, while Wentz had Myron Reed come out to the ramp, but Reed returned to the locker room, as Wentz continued to the ring.

Wentz did his best to avoid Cage at the get-go before pushing Cage to the outside. Cage got on the apron, so Wentz hit a handspring kick that knocked Cage to the floor. Wentz dove outside, but Cage caught him. Wentz wound up back on the apron, taking a big kick to Cage’s arm, followed by a moonsault! Cage came back with a backdrop on the apron and threw Wentz into the steel steps. Cage rolled in to break the count and pulled Wentz back to the apron. Cage got back in the ring and climbed to the second rope for a deadlift superplex!

Cage’s power was too much for Wentz until they both fought on the top rope and Wentz kicked Cage to the mat. Wentz came off the top with a dropkick that took Cage down again! Wentz hit a strike/kick combo to put Cage on his knees. Wentz followed with a double stomp to Cage’s back, then a corkscrew kick for a near-fall. Wentz hit four kicks out of the corner and a twisting cutter to get another near-fall. Cage floored Wentz with a discus lariat and pulled Wentz up from the apron for a deadlift German Suplex! Cage called for the end and hit the Drill Claw for the impressive victory!

Beretta got on the mic after the match and continued to run down Allin, who he said wasn’t even in the state. Beretta wanted a victory by forfeit, so he asked the referee to raise his hand. Allin’s music hit, and he rushed to the ring!

Darby Allin def. Don Callis Family's Trent Beretta

With his music still playing, Allin hit Beretta with a shotgun dropkick to the corner! The crowd had become unglued! Allin took off his jacket and clobbered Beretta with a torpedo dive to the floor. Allin threw Beretta into the barricade and added a shoulder tackle for good measure. Allin faced off with Cage, allowing Beretta to attack Allin from behind and throw him into the barricade. Beretta tried to charge into Allin, but missed and flipped into the barricade!

Allin threw Beretta back in and went up top for a Coffin Drop, so Cage walked up the steps to distract him. That allowed Beretta to trip Allin off the top rope,e and Allin hit his head on the apron before spilling to the floor. That was a dangerous landing! Beretta covered for a two-count. Beretta picked up Allin, who locked in a headlock before hauling off on Beretta with strikes. Allin got a head of steam, but Beretta stopped him with a huge back body drop. Beretta hit a big running knee, but Allin kicked out!

“LET’S GO DARBY!”

Beretta put Allin on the top turnbuckle and went for a superplex, but Allin knocked him to the mat. Allin feigned like he was lining up Beretta, but instead hit a Coffin Drop to Cage on the floor! Allin got back in the ring and ran into a huge stomp from Beretta in the corner. The crowd continued to chant for Darby as Beretta hit him with Crunchie on the apron, compressing Allin’s neck against the corner of the ring! Beretta covered, but Allin kicked out! Beretta was stunned and slapped himself back into it. Beretta put Allin back on the top turnbuckle, but Allin tried to float over and broke free with a back rake. He finally floated over with an Avalanche Code Red, but Beretta kicked out! Allin quickly went back up top and hit a Coffin Drop to get the pinfall victory! Cage immediately hit the ring for a Triple Power Bomb on Allin! AEW National Champion Mark Davis came out to get himself some of Allin, but “Speedball” Mike Bailey came out to save Allin with a chair! Bailey vs. Davis in the main event is next!

Willow Nightingale, Maya World and Hyan Challenge Mercedes Moné and Divine Dominion Next Week for Dynamite in Boston!

After she got to the back earlier, Willow wondered why she and Mercedes needed to wait until All In. Moné aligned herself with a couple of Amazons, and she wanted to fight them, too. She called Maya World over and said she’s a huge fan, especially after World was so close to beating Moné at Forbidden Door. Willow thinks World deserves another shot at Moné, so why doesn’t World bring her besties, Hyan, and the three of them can face Moné and Divine Dominion. And World wondered what could be better than facing her idol in Moné’s hometown next week! World said after Willow beats Thekla for the AEW Women’s World Championship at Redemption, World wants the first shot. Willow said that was the best idea she heard all day.

Andrade El Ídolo Needed to Be on His Own

Andrade explained why he was in AEW: to become AEW World Champion. Don Callis said he would make that happen, but Andrade needed to leave Callis to be who he was destined to be.

We heard Andrade explain all of this, as he enjoyed his time on a speedboat in the ocean.

“How you know?”

AEW National Championship Match: Mark Davis (c) of the Don Callis Family def. "Speedball" Mike Bailey

AEW International Champion “The Protostar” Kyle Fletcher joined commentary for our main event. Bailey ran at Davis at the bell but didn’t budge him, so he shifted to strikes only, and Davis ran Bailey over. Davis ate some more chops and was taken down by a leg trip. Bailey lit Davis up with kicks, but Davis pushed Bailey away and dropped him on the top rope. Bailey stumbled into a big body slam, and Davis followed with a senton splash. Davis continued to overpower Bailey and chopped him to the mat with one strike. Davis kneeled on Bailey for a two-count and switched to a Texas Cloverleaf while biting Bailey’s toes!

Davis hit Bailey with an Oklahoma Stampede, but missed another senton splash. Bailey hit a step-up kick from the apron followed by a top-rope dropkick. Bailey stayed on Davis with heavy kicks, yet Davis wouldn’t go down. Bailey avoided a charge in the corner and hit rapid-fire kicks followed by a short-range pump kick. With Davis on the top turnbuckle, Bailey went up to meet him, so Davis shoved him down on his head. Bailey shook it off and took Davis down with a super hurricanrana! Bailey hit a triangle moonsault from the second rope to the outside! Fletcher tried to encourage Davis, so Bailey hit Davis with a thrust kick that put Davis on the commentary desk. Davis fought back to his feet and spiked Bailey on the table with Close Your Eyes and Count to Three! Fletcher was beside himself with excitement!

Bailey tried to get up, but kept getting knocked down as Davis threw him around with his immense power. Bailey rolled out of another piledriver attempt, then hit a hurricanrana, followed by a PK! Bailey missed Shooting Star Knees, but landed on his feet! Davis missed an enzigiri, and Bailey missed a moonsault. Davis hit a big strike, so Bailey threw a roundhouse kick and connected, taking both men down to the mat! As they struggled back to their feet, the crowd chanted, “AEW!”

Bailey got up first and hit a pair of kicks to Davis’s chest, but Davis caught the third. Bailey floated over, and Davis connected with an enzigiri. Davis forearmed Bailey down in the corner, but missed a running forearm. Bailey landed on Davis’ back with shooting star knees! Bailey went up top and connected with Ultima Weapon! 1-2-Davis grabbed the bottom rope! Even Fletcher said that was too close! Bailey lined up Davis, but was distracted by Jake Doyle, who appeared at ringside. That gave Davis enough time to recover and run through Bailey with a lariat. Davis tried to lift Bailey for another piledriver, so Bailey floated over and hung onto Davis’ waist. Davis just sat down, driving Bailey headfirst into the mat! That was nasty!

Somehow Bailey pulled himself back to his feet and ducked a clothesline. Davis got a hold of Bailey, so Bailey rolled through and captured Davis’ legs for a very-close near-fall! Bailey hit a pair of big kicks and pinned Davis in a straightjacket, but somehow Davis escaped in the nick of time! Bailey connected with the Time Adventure Kick! 1-2-Davis kicks out again! How did he do that? Bailey nailed Davis with a Corner Cyclone Kick! He’s back on the second turnbuckle for another Ultima Weapon, but Davis moved! He crushed Bailey with a running forearm, knocking him to the apron. Davis picked up Bailey for a suplex, but Bailey kicked free until Davis lariated him back into the ring, only for Bailey to sweep Davis’ legs! Bailey grabbed Davis’ left leg and attempted another shooting star knee drop, but missed again! OUCH! Davis folded Bailey with a release suplex on the apron that could have broken Bailey’s neck! Davis bounced Bailey off the ropes for a lariat, but Bailey turned it into a crucifix pin for a near-fall! Davis grabbed Bailey and hit Close Your Eyes and Count to Three for the pinfall victory and successful AEW National Title defense! What a tremendous match!

Fletcher and Doyle joined Davis in the ring to celebrate as Collision came to a close in Virginia!
