AEW Collision Results

Saturday Night AEW Collision was LIVE from Cedar Rapids, Iowa on Saturday, March 28, with one of the best shows of the year. After all, this is where the best wrestle.

In our main event, “The Rainmaker” Kazuchika Okada of the Don Callis Family retained his AEW International Championship in an epic match against AEW World Trios Champion “The Jet” Kevin Knight, thanks in large part to a bit of leverage from the middle rope.

Speaking of championship bouts, we kicked off Collision with Divine Dominion, “Megasus” Megan Bayne and “Colossal” Lena Kross, retaining their AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championship against the Babes of Wrath, Harley Cameron and Willow Nightingale. Later in the night, we heard from the Babes, and it sounds like they might be shifting their respective focus moving forward.

Plus, the Death Riders defeated Private Party before Jon Moxley sent a message to Will Ospreay, The Rascalz’ Myron Reed defeated Johnny TV in Reed’s AEW singles debut, the Brawling Birds had Mina Shirakawa’s back for a fight, the Don Callis Family took out some frustrations on the other members of the Rascalz, and much more.

Here’s everything that went down in Cedar Rapids! Here are your complete Collision results.

AEW Collision Recap Tonight for Cedar Rapids

AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championship Match: Divine Dominion (“Megasus” Megan Bayne and “Colossal” Lena Kross) def. Babes of Wrath (Willow Nightingale and Harley Cameron)

We wasted no time in getting the fighting started on this Saturday night, as first, it was Babes of Wrath making their way to the ring, and the crowd was red hot for the former tag team champions! They were followed, of course, by the statuesque champions.

All four women came to blows before the bell rang, with Nightingale and Bayne starting things off in the ring with an exchange of strength. Nightingale got the upper hand and tagged in Cameron, allowing the Babes of Wrath to hit some combination offense on Bayne and Kross. Nightingale tagged back in but was taken out by Kross when Bayne distracted the referee, followed by Bayne hitting a dive to the outside, as Divine Dominion went to work, absolutely dominating Willow right up until we went to commercial break.

We returned with Kross still working over Nightingale, taking Cameron down off the apron for good measure. Divine Dominion continued to isolate Willow from her partner, but finally, Nightingale was able to adroitly evade Bayne and Kross and tag Cameron in, who came in absolutely on fire to take down Kross. The Babes tried to combine for some more tag-team offense against both members of Divine Dominion, but Bayne and Kross were too strong, catching Nightingale and Cameron and turning the tide.

Divine Dominion taunted Cameron and lifted her for a double vertical suplex, only for Harley to reverse into a double DDT and make the tag to Willow, who started to slug it out with Bayne. Nightingale took out Kross and Bayne with multiple German suplexes and evaded a double team from Divine Dominion to hit a double shotgun dropkick and tag Cameron back in for the Drop Bear backpack senton.

Bayne caught Cameron on the top rope, but Harley fought her off and eventually hit a powerbomb from the turnbuckles, before Babes of Wrath locked in stereo single-leg Boston Crabs! But Bayne, the legal wrestler, got to the ropes to break the submission. Divine Dominion dumped Nightingale to the outside, and while Cameron was game in her attempts to fight both women off, they obliterated her with a combination running big boot/suplex, leading to the Divine Intervention double chokeslam for the pinfall victory. Divine Dominion are still your AEW Women’s World Tag Team Champions!

Brawling Birds Have Mina Shirakawa’s Back For a Fight!

Backstage, Lexy Nair was with Jamie Hayter and Alex Windsor, who said they were here to get violent, but they weren’t alone. They saw a woman who got screwed out of her AEW Women’s World Championship match due to some brass knucks, and if that woman was around, they were game to team with her. That brought in Mina Shirakawa, who was still livid about her loss to Thekla. The Birds said that any three ladies who want a fight are due to get one!

The Rascalz’ Myron Reed def. MxM TV’s Johnny TV

It was time to go back to the ring, as Reed entered first, followed by Johnny TV, accompanied by MxM.

This was Reed’s first ever singles match in AEW, and MxM TV gave him a rude welcome, as MxM pulled Reed to the outside and put the boots to him while the ref was distracted to start. Zachary Wentz and Dezmond Xavier chased off MxM, and this one got back between the ropes, where Reed and Johnny exchanged counters and strikes.

Reed seized the advantage with a slingshot legdrop onto Johnny TV as he was draped over the ropes, followed by a thrust kick by Reed right to Johnny’s chin. Johnny reversed the momentum shortly thereafter and caught Reed in a massive Alabama Slam, but he took too long in taunting the crowd and allowed Reed to dodge a split-legged moonsault before hitting a cutter and a No Cap Splash springboard 450 for the win!

Death Riders Have a Question for Private Party; Private Party Responds

Flanked by Jon Moxley and Claudio Castagnoli, Daniel Garcia addressed his former friends, Private Party, saying that things have to change in this life. Garcia has changed. A lot. Have they changed? Garcia has become the version of himself he’s meant to be, forged in fire.

Moxley weighed in, saying that they’re all the same. But have Private Party learned how to work hard, which separates the greats from the rest? They won $200,000? Congratulations. What are they going to use it to buy? A clue? They can’t use it to buy the heart they need to go toe-to-toe with the Death Riders. That kind of steel comes with a price that Moxley doesn’t think Private Party is willing to pay. They’re swimming with the real sharks tonight.

Back from the commercial break, Private Party spoke backstage, saying that they do have a lot of history with Moxley, and they’re more than ready to swim with sharks. And while Garcia might have been their boy, now, he’s just in the way.

Death Riders (Jon Moxley and Daniel Garcia) def. Private Party (Isiah Kassidy and Marq Quen)

As the Death Riders made their way through the ring, we were treated to a package recapping the history between Jon Moxley’s crew and Private Party, including the early days of the Death Riders running roughshod over AEW. Then, while Private Party made their typical high-energy entrance, the Death Riders did pushups by the announce desk!

With the crowd chanting “Moxley!”, we got Garcia and Kassidy to start things off at the bell, grappling and testing one another on the mat and while standing. Both men also showed off their agility, leap frogging one another and exchanging arm drags before Garcia slapped Kassidy across the face. That fired up Zay, who backed Garcia into the corner and laid in shots. But when referee Bryce Remsburg backed Kassidy off, Garcia took advantage, then tagged in Moxley.

While Mox had warned Private Party about swimming with sharks, it was the AEW Continental Champion who found himself in deep waters after the tag. Private Party showed off their tag team chemistry, double teaming Mox and fending off Garcia until the leader of the Death Riders was finally able to find enough daylight to tag in Garcia, who took out Marq Quen on the outside as we went to break.

Back from commercial, Mox and Garcia double-teamed Quen in their corner before Garcia tagged Mox in as the legal man and stepped out to the apron. Quen held Mox off with a big boot from the corner then hit a spinning kick right to Mox’s temple. Quen tagged in Kassidy and Mox tagged in Garcia, and the former best friends went back to war. Mox tried to interfere with Kassidy on the apron, only for Zay to hit a springboard moonsault to Mox on the outside and then a senton from the top to Garcia back in the ring for a two-count!

With the upper hand, Kassidy started to talk trash to Garcia, which fired up the Death Rider for a moment – but Kassidy fired back with a massive Destroyer, then a DDT on Moxley when Mox came into the ring! Private Party hit a double-team cutter on Garcia, and Quen cleared out Mox on the outside! Kassidy with the 450 splash on Garcia, but Garcia kicked out! What a match!

Quen tried to lift Garcia into an electric chair, but Garcia sent Quen to the outside, where he was clobbered by a European uppercut from Claudio! Garcia tried to lock Kassidy in the DragonTamer, but Kassidy rolled through for a two-count. Moxley sneaked in for a cutter on Kassidy to set Garcia up to piledrive Zay into the mat, but Kassidy kicked out at two again! Garcia didn’t relent, hammering elbows and fists to the side of Kassidy’s head before locking in the DragonTamer. Moxley and Claudio ran interference to keep Quen from making the save, and Kassidy was forced to tap, as the Death Riders won.

The Demand Are Ready For Kenny Omega & Co.

We saw comments from Ricochet, Toa Liona and Bishop Kaun from last night at ROH x MLP Global Wars, where Ricochet defeated Rich Swann and GOA competed in a 4-Way Tag Match to crown the inaugural MLP Tag Team Champions. Ricochet said he knew Kenny would respond to Ricochet’s comments, but he didn’t think Omega would respond that quickly. After all, didn’t Kenny say that the past didn’t matter? Because it sounds to Ricochet that it mattered enough to Kenny for Omega to challenge the former AEW National Champion to a match and bring “those two goofs,” Brody King and Jack Perry, along with him.

GOA yelled about how much they’ve beaten down Brody King, and how The Demand has taken down Perry over and over. That reminded Ricochet that Perry wouldn’t even be holding the National Championship if it weren’t for Omega’s help, since Kenny must have been the one to keep GOA out of the Blackjack Battle Royale. So now, on April Fool’s Day, Ricochet promises that the joke will be on Omega and his friends.

Mina Shirakawa & Brawling Birds (Jamie Hayter and Alex Windsor) def. Nixi XS, Aminah Belmont & Haven Harris

Windsor started things off for her team against Nixi XS, beating her right back into her team’s corner, as Hayter and Shirakawa took out the other two opponents with massive big boots! Shirakawa and the Brawling Birds stacked up all three of their opponents in the corner and took turns taking them out, before the Birds set Belmont and Harris up for a double missile dropkick by Shirakawa. Hayter and Windsor then leveled Nixi XS with Two Birds With One Stone, allowing Shirakawa to lock in the figure-four leglock for the quick submission victory!

After the match, Hayter grabbed a mic and asked if Cedar Rapids cared for a couple of words with the Birds. Hayter told Shirakawa they loved brawling with her, and that they wanted to tell Mina that neither of them had anything to do with what happened to “Timeless” Toni Storm. Moreover, Windsor said that what happened to Shirakawa against Thekla was nothing short of a “piss take.” Thekla wants to start using brass knuckles?

Enter the Toxic Spider, alongside the Sisters of Sin, up among the crowd. Thekla said that they weren’t going to do this. She is the AEW Women’s World Champion, and the rest of them are nothing. None of them can handle Thekla. None of them can handle Sisters of Sin. And none of them can handle Triangle of Madness. And Thekla swears on the cold, dead body of “Timeless” Toni Storm – “Rest in peace, b*tch!” – that if any of them want to try Triangle of Madness again, they’ll end up just like Storm.

That was too much for Shirakawa, who challenged Triangle of Madness to a Trios Match against herself and Brawling Birds!

The Don Callis Family Are Out For Revenge (And ProtOkada!)

Backstage, Lexy Nair was with TNT Champion Kyle Fletcher, AEW International Champion Kazuchika Okada and Mark Davis. Nair acknowledged that all three men had big matches tonight. She then tried to ask about the Family’s business relationship with MJF, but Fletcher made it clear that he’s not a fan of that arrangement, no matter how much he enjoyed watching Davis piledrive Darby Allin, and that he doesn’t want to talk about it, because the focus should be on bringing the AEW World Championship to the Don Callis Family. What he does want to talk about is how the AEW World Trios Titles were taken away from the Don Callis Family by JetSpeed and Místico, who also took Josh Alexander away from the Family with his injury. So tonight is now about revenge.

Okada agreed, saying that tonight, he gets revenge for himself and his Continental Classic loss to The Jet, and for his Family – but he also said to Fletcher that he saw The Protostar making peace with Takeshita, and he wanted to remind Fletcher about the greatness of ProtOkada, and how they are the leaders of the Don Callis Family. Fletcher agreed, saying that they were going to take out Kevin Knight and The Rascalz first tonight, then Fletcher’s focus would be right back on the AEW World Championship.

“Psycho Killer” Tommaso Ciampa def. Ace Austin of the Bang Bang Gang

An exchange of holds off the bell led to an initial advantage for Ciampa, but Austin recovered to send Ciampa to the outside on two different sides of the ring, frustrating the former TNT Champion! Ciampa looked to take control back in the ring, but Austin threw him over the top rope to a third side of the ring, then evaded Ciampa’s charges from atop the apron!

Once Ciampa caught Austin, though, things took a turn, as Tommaso draped Austin over the middle rope and planted him with a DDT. A dazed Austin rolled to the outside, and Ciampa gave chase, chopping the Bang Bang Gang member across the chest. But Austin fought back, only to get caught by Ciampa when Austin tried to roll him back into the ring, as the Psycho Killer brought The Ace crashing down for a backbreaker off the top turnbuckle and applauded his own efforts as we went to break!

Back from commercial, Austin seemed slightly dazed, but he was able to fend off Ciampa and find a second wind, taking the Psycho Killer to the mat with a Russian leg sweep and flying into the corner with an elbow to take out Ciampa when he got to his feet. Austin evaded Ciampa and hit a spinning kick to the temple, then gutwrenched Ciampa up into a powerbomb in an impressive display of strength for a two count!

Ciampa was able to turn the tables, however, scouting a basement dropkick from Austin then hitting Ace with a Project Ciampa for a two count of his own! Austin tried to escape to the outside to catch his breath, and Ciampa gave chase. But Austin caught Ciampa with a Heatseeker-variant that left Ciampa stunned on the outside, allowing Austin to come diving over the top to take out Ciampa!

Austin threw Ciampa back into the ring, but the Psycho Killer was waiting with a big knee to the chin! Ciampa hoisted Austin onto the turnbuckle for an Avalanche Air Raid Crash, but Austin kicked out! Both men got to their feet and wailed away at one another, leading to Austin catching Ciampa on the chin with another kick. Austin then deadlifted Ciampa on his shoulders and tossed him into the corner. But when Austin lined up Ciampa, the Psycho Killer reversed Austin’s momentum, throwing him into the corner, then lowering the big running knee for the three count! Ciampa wins!

After the match, Juice Robinson came out to check on his Bang Bang Gang brethren. For a moment, it seemed as if Ciampa was going to lay out Robinson from behind with that very same knee, but Juice turned around and stared Ciampa down as the former TNT Champion left the ring and made his way up the ramp.

The Rascalz Know The Math That Matters

Lexy Nair was backstage with all three members of The Rascalz. First, she congratulated Myron Reed on his first ever singles win in AEW, then asked how The Rascalz are feeling. Zachary Wentz and Dezmond Xavier said that they were ready to take out the Don Callis Family, and since the Family is former AEW World Trios Champions, beating them would place The Rascalz one step closer to title contention! Smoke ‘em if you got ‘em!

Babes of Wrath Look to The Future

Backstage, Harley Cameron said she let Willow and everyone down, but Nightingale said they gave it everything they could. When she first heard about the AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championship tournament, she didn’t even have a partner, but she wouldn’t have wanted to have done it with anyone other than Harley. So, Cameron asked, does this mean they’ll never talk to each other again?

Of course not, Willow said. It’s just time for them to focus on their own things. But they’ll always be best friends. And they’ll always be Babes of Wrath.

The Don Callis Family (TNT Champion Kyle Fletcher and Mark Davis) def. The Rascalz (Zachary Wentz and Dezmond Xavier)

We got things started with Zachary Wentz and Kyle Fletcher locking up in the middle. Fletcher established early wrist control, as Wentz tried to work his way out of the hold. Wentz used the ropes to his advantage, taking Fletcher down with a hurricanrana then hitting a tornillo out of the other corner for a one count. Wentz took Fletcher into The Rascalz’ corner and tagged in Dezmond Xavier, who got a two count of his own after taking down Fletcher. But The Protostar might have been playing opossum, as he nailed Xavier with a big scoop slam and tagged in Davis. The big man leveled Xavier, but The Rascalz combined to get Davis into their corner, where Wentz hit a bronco buster and got a one count!

Wentz tagged Xavier in as The Rascalz attempted to double-team Davis, but he cartwheeled out of harm’s way and kicked both Rascalz square in the head. Davis then hoisted Xavier on top of his shoulders and tossed him right into the boot of Fletcher, as The Protostar got a two count! The Rascalz recovered very briefly, only for Davis and Fletcher to slam both Rascalz into each other then toss them for stereo suplexes. Davis and Fletcher were in complete control as we went to commercial!

Back from the break, Wentz had managed to pull things back even, as he nailed Fletcher with a blockbuster from the middle turnbuckle and tagged Xavier back in! Xavier ducked under Fletcher and knocked Davis off the apron in the opposite corner, then he took out Fletcher with a kick to the back of the head! Davis came in to try to take out Xavier, but he fought off the big man and followed it up with a cutter on Fletcher when the TNT Champion got to his feet! Xavier went for the pin and got a two count!

Wentz tagged back in but dropped to the floor, where he hit a cutter on Fletcher over the middle rope, setting up some combination offense from The Rascalz that got Wentz a two count on Fletcher! The Rascalz set up for Hot Fire Flame, but Davis caught Xavier and tossed him to the mat. Wentz tried to fight off Davis and Fletcher, but Davis took him out as well – but that gave Xavier enough time to recover and take out Davis! Fletcher went for a kick in the corner but missed. Davis caught Wentz once more and tossed him to Fletcher for another boot, but Wentz blocked the kick and sent it into Davis’ chin instead! Wentz took out Fletcher! Davis took out Wentz! Xavier took out Davis! The fans were on their feet, as Davis and Xavier tried to get to theirs!

Davis nailed Xavier with an enzuigiri in The Rascalz’ corner and floored Wentz for good measure. Davis then ran Xavier into the corner and made sure he was the legal man, using that big brain of his. Davis then hoisted Xavier up for “Close Your Eyes and Count to Nothing” and a pinfall victory for the Don Callis Family!

Ricochet and Don Callis Share Their Kenny Omega Hatred

We saw comments from Ricochet and Don Callis from last night at ROH x MLP Global Wars, as the two reveled in their shared hatred of Kenny Omega after Ricochet’s win on the Global Wars card. Callis couldn’t hide how excited he was for Ricochet and GOA to take out Omega (along with Brody King and “Jungle” Jack Perry) in their Trios Match this Wednesday on AEW Dynamite, LIVE from Winnipeg!

Kevin Knight Proclaims This The Year of The Jet

Lexy Nair was backstage with The Jet just moments before his AEW International Title Match against Kazuchika Okada. Knight said that 2026 is going to be The Year of The Jet, as he ran through the list of his accomplishments and near-misses so far this year. With a little bit of hustle and a whole lot of swag, The Jet can turn any dream into a reality. As for Okada, Knight is going to turn his dream of getting a little revenge on Knight into a nightmare.

Jon Moxley Has No Sympathy for Private Party – Or Will Ospreay

Backstage, Mox reflected on Private Party being “pretty banged up,” saying we won’t see them again any time soon. But Moxley has no sympathy for them. Why should he? People keep asking him about Will Ospreay, too, as if there’s something Mox is supposed to feel bad about? He will never stand between someone and the consequences of their actions. Will Ospreay? He got exactly what he asked for. He found himself in an unsanctioned cage match, because no doctor would clear him. Because he had a broken neck. What did he think was going to happen?

On Wednesday, Mox said, Ospreay faces PAC. The best. The elite of the elite. Top of the food chain. And The Bastard has even less tolerance for Ospreay’s emotional response than Mox does to this cold, cold game.

AEW International Championship Match: “The Rainmaker” Kazuchika Okada of the Don Callis Family def. AEW World Trios Champion “The Jet” Kevin Knight

It was time for our main event! When the bell rang, both men lingered in their respective corners before coming to the center of the ring for a collar-and-elbow tie up. Knight gained the early advantage, wrenching on Okada’s left arm and wrist as The Rainmaker made his way to his feet. Okada backed Knight into the ropes and made him flinch, but when Okada went for a dropkick after throwing Knight into the ropes on the other side of the ring, Knight held on and evaded the move. Knight then sent Okada to the outside, then tauntingly held the ropes open for The Rainmaker if he wanted to make his way back in!

Once Okada was back in the ring, he and Knight exchanged a flurry of counters and arm drags, only for Okada to duck on the outside when Knight went for a baseball slide, as The Rainmaker countered with a DDT on the floor! As referee Bryce Remsburg counted toward 10, Okada tossed Knight back into the ring, mockingly putting the boot to Knight’s face and staring down at him, which only fired up The Jet! He sent Okada to the mat twice with big shoulder tackles, then nailed a leaping lariat and a standing UFO Splash for a two count! Knight was feeling it! Okada went to the outside, but Knight took him out with a splash over the corner as we went to commercial!

Back from the break, Okada had regained the upper hand, as he leveled Knight with a neckbreaker over his knee. After a scoop slam, Okada went to the top and hit his patented elbow drop, then flipped the bird to the entire crowd from the middle of the ring. Okada lifted Knight and looked to go for a ripcord, but Knight fought back, eventually sending The Rainmaker crashing to the mat with a sky-high dropkick. Both men struggled back to their feet, as Knight dodged a running elbow from Okada in the corner, then floored the International Champion with consecutive lariats.

Okada went for The Rainmaker, but Knight reversed it into a leaping pendulum DDT for a two count. Knight went to the top looking for the UFO Splash, but Okada got to his feet and nailed Knight with a picture-perfect dropkick of his own! Okada lifted Knight up and hit a ripcord lariat (although not the full “Rainmaker”), maintaining wrist control and hitting another. That gave Okada a window to look for The Rainmaker, but Knight dodged, sending Okada to the outside. Knight immediately followed with an absolutely incredible springboard forearm flying an astonishing 20 feet to take out Okada!

Knight threw Okada back into the ring to break the ref’s count, then hit Okada with a springboard lariat for another two count! Knight seemed slightly frustrated, but he followed up with a splashing lariat in the corner on Okada. The Jet lifted the champ up onto the top turnbuckle, but Okada shrugged him off. Knight recovered and leaped up onto the top turnbuckle, perhaps looking for a hurricanrana, but Okada blocked, throwing Knight off. The Jet wasn’t deterred, as he charged Okada and leaped up to take him off the top rope head over heels! The crowd chanted, “This is awesome!”

Okada tried to climb to his feet in the corner, but with little energy left, he was a prime victim for Knight’s coast-to-coast dropkick! Knight climbed the top turnbuckle for a UFO Splash, but Okada slowly rolled out of the way, which seemed to frustrate Knight. After a moment’s hesitation, he went for the splash anyway, even with Okada three-quarters of the way across the ring, but the champion got his knees up! Okada went for The Rainmaker, but Knight reversed into an inside cradle for a two count, then another pin attempt for a two count again! Okada grabbed Knight in a waistlock and sat down for a pin, grabbing the middle rope for leverage to get the three count! Okada cheats to win and is still the AEW International Champion!
