AEW Dynamite and Collision Holiday Bash Results: December 17, 2025 — MJF Returns, The Elite Win $1 Million, More

AEW Dynamite Results

AEW Dynamite and Collision Holiday Bash on TBS and HBO Max came your way from Manchester, England, in front of one of the biggest crowds in Dynamite history! And what a night it was, including a return that turned the AEW World Championship picture upside down.


MJF made a shocking return to AEW for the first time since losing to Mark Briscoe at All Out in September and declared he’d be using his Casino Gauntlet contract for a guaranteed AEW World Title match at Worlds End to turn the 3-Way into a 4-Way, as he joins AEW World Champion Samoa Joe, “Hangman” Adam Page and Swerve Strickland in what’s now become a completely different title picture just 10 days before these four will meet for the richest prize in the game.


The Elite proved that friendship does pay, as they beat The Don Callis Family to take home $1 million. Kenny Omega, Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson turned away Kazuchika Okada, Konosuke Takeshita, and Hechicero, as issues with Okada and Takeshita remain at the forefront.


In the Continental Classic, PAC gave Kyle Fletcher his second straight loss and moved to six points in the process, which put him in a four-way tie atop the Gold League with Fletcher, Speedball Bailey and Okada. In the Blue League, Jon Moxley beat Roderick Strong, putting Moxley at six points and mathematically eliminating the scoreless Strong from winning the tournament. Later, Orange Cassidy defeated Máscara Dorada to join Moxley at six points in a very tight race to Worlds End.


Plus, FTR turned away Bang Bang Gang to retain the AEW World Tag Team Titles, and after winning an 8-Woman Tag, TBS Champion Mercedes Moné and ROH Women’s World Champion Athena set their sights on the AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championships.

All that and more went down on this three-hour special!

Continental Classic Blue League Match: Jon Moxley (6 points) def. Roderick Strong (0 points)

While both men desperately needed a win, a loss for Strong would mathematically eliminate him from the Continental Classic. We opened the night with both men already in the ring to jump-start the tournament action!


Strong and Moxley jockeyed for position over the first few minutes, with neither able to take the lead until Strong cornered Moxley and opened up on him with chops and forearms. An ankle breaker by Strong targeted the already injured Moxley, causing him to limp immediately. Moxley got knocked to the outside, so Strong followed and chopped Moxley into the crowd! He chased Moxley around with more chops before throwing Moxley back over the barricade. Strong followed too slowly, so Moxley hit a dive and took out Strong! 


Moxley’s desperate dive completely turned the tide of the match, as Moxley punished Strong on the outside before returning to the ring to grind down Strong with submissions. Strong started his comeback around the 10-minute mark, when he backdropped Moxley over the top to escape a piledriver and immediately followed with a diving double boot and then a clothesline from the apron! Strong dropped Moxley twice and then a third time with a fireman’s carry slam! After a combo in the ropes, Strong slammed Moxley face-first for a near fall. 


Strong went for the Strong Hold, so Moxley escaped to the outside. Moxley gained a brief advantage and tried to piledrive Strong on the steps, but Strong reversed it into a backbreaker on the steel! Moxley got back in the ring first and nailed a charging Strong with a boot, but when Moxley went to the top, Strong caught him with a kick to the side of the head. Strong met Moxley on the top and executed a deep back rake before a superplex, sending both men crashing to the mat! Moxley kicked out at two after Strong couldn’t get to him fast enough. They exchanged strikes in the middle of the ring with Moxley fighting through to drop Strong. 


Strong got out of a Paradigm Shift to try the Strong Hold, but Moxley turned it into a nearfall! Strong blocked a cutter, but couldn’t block a second, and Moxley got another nearfall. Moxley hit a piledriver, but Strong kicked out at two again! Moxley locked in a rear-naked choke, but Strong got to the ropes to break it up. Strong came back with a jumping knee and fully locked in the Strong Hold for the first time! Strong tried to change his grip, which allowed Moxley to kick Strong out of the ring. Strong rushed back in and immediately ate a Paradigm Shift! Strong kicked out after a delayed pinfall attempt. Moxley dropped Strong on his head with a Death Rider to get the victory and move to six points! That loss ends Strong’s chances of winning the C2.

Eddie Kingston Learned from His Loss to Samoa Joe

Kingston said he learned from losing to Samoa Joe, and that’s bad news for anyone who has to face him in the future. He’ll never stop and never quit because pro wrestling is his everything. One loss won’t bother him. He’ll see everyone again real soon…maybe Collision?

$1 Million (£750,000) Winner-Takes-All Trios Match: The Elite (Kenny Omega, Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson) def. Don Callis Family (AEW Unified Champion “The Rainmaker” Kazuchika Okada, IWGP World Heavyweight Champion “The Alpha” Konosuke Takeshita and Hechicero)

Don Callis introduced Takeshita and Hechicero and led them to the ring, which left Okada to have his own entrance. The Young Bucks came out to their old The Elite music, which earned a significant response from Manchester, although Kenny Omega’s music may have gotten an even bigger one. 


Omega and Takeshita opened this big-Monéy match with Omega getting the better of Takeshita in a brief exchange. Omega made a tag out to Matt, who quickly tagged Nick, as the Bucks were putting on a tag team clinic to take control. Omega got back in the match, and the Elite hit a triple team kick in the corner to Takeshita! Nick took too long celebrating and wound up in the wrong corner, which allowed Hechicero to enter the match and ground Nick. 


The Family stayed in control with quick tags until Nick rolled away from Hechicero to tag Omega! However, Hechicero cut off an Omega flurry with an eye rake and tagged in Okada. Okada grabbed Omega for a suplex and called Hechicero in to join him, but Takeshita took the spot instead, which caused Okada to stop. Takeshita responded by pushing Okada and completing the double suplex with Hechicero. Okada decided to show his strength with a suplex, but Omega reversed it and hit one of his own! Omega fought out of the Family corner multiple times and finally made it back to his corner by rolling Takeshita to his corner. He hit a moonsault and tagged Nick, who hit a swanton bomb, as Matt tagged in and finished off the triple team with an elbow on Takeshita. With the Callis Family knocked to the outside, Omega pounded the mat, which meant dives from all three members of The Elite!


Matt threw Hechicero back in, but Okada grabbed Matt on the apron, which allowed Hechicero to hit a spinning backbreaker to take the advantage back for the Family yet again. As we returned from commercial, Okada was working over Matt until Matt hit Hechicero with a superkick and then a diving cutter to Takeshita on the floor! Matt escaped Okada with a bulldog and finally tagged in Nick! Nick went after all three Family members, knocking Hechicero off the apron and escaping an Okada-Takeshita double-team to take them out with an armdrag/headscissors combo! Nick jumped to the apron and nailed a kick on Okada before running down the apron with a flying headscissors to Hechicero. He ran into the ring to nail Takeshita with a cutter, so Matt came in, and the two hit a splash/moonsault combo that nearly beat the IWGP World Heavyweight Champion!


Takeshita blocked a superkick and nailed a massive elbow strike, so Hechicero tagged in and nailed a backbreaker followed by a running knee strike. He went for the spinning hammerlock, but Nick escaped and countered into a Canadian Destroyer! Okada tagged in and asked for Omega, and he got him! Manchester went wild for that tag! The two went head-to-head and exchanged strikes with neither man getting an advantage until Omega backed Okada into the corner with a pair of nasty chops. Okada reversed a charge by Omega and put him on the top rope, so Omega kicked free and tried the One-Winged Angel, but Okada escaped and tried a Rainmaker, which Omega ducked just in time for Matt to nail Okada with a superkick! All six men took each other out in rapid succession until Nick and Takeshita tagged in. Takeshita avoided a superkick and tried a powerbomb, but Nick turned it into a facebuster. Nick escaped a Blue Thunder Bomb, so Matt made a blind tag. Takeshita didn’t see it and ate a superkick! After all three men exchanged standing switches, the Bucks finally got Takeshita with a German suplex. 


Okada tagged in and missed a dropkick, but the Bucks didn’t miss their superkicks on Okada and then Hechicero! Matt picked up Takeshita for a flipping spike piledriver, but Okada dropkicked Nick out of midair! Takeshita reversed Matt and dropped him on his neck before pulling him into a wheelbarrow German suplex. Hechicero slammed Matt so that Takeshita could hit the Power Drive knee! Omega came in just in time to break up the pin! Okada threw Omega to the outside, which left Matt alone with all three of his opponents. Takeshita directed Hechicero to one corner, then stood in the corner opposite Okada for what looked like a doomsday triple-team on Matt. When Hechicero and Takeshita charged, Okada picked up Matt for a Rainmaker, which he ducked, and Okada nearly took out Takeshita! Hechicero tried to calm them down, so Matt hit him with a superkick and tried another on Takeshita, but he caught it and threw it into Okada’s face! He seemed kind of apologetic.


That allowed Omega to tag back in! He put Takeshita down with a dragon suplex and did the same to Hechicero. Okada grabbed him for a Rainmaker, but Omega escaped and hit a third dragon suplex! The Bucks were back in, and Hechicero caught a triple superkick! Omega followed with a V-Trigger and got Hechicero up for One-Winged Angel with a leaping assist from the Bucks to get the victory and win ONE MILLION DOLLARS! 


Don Callis grabbed the money on the outside, allowing Okada and Takeshita to attack from behind. Okada took out Omega with a Rainmaker and then seemed to get on the same page with Takeshita, as they turned their attention towards the Bucks. As Okada hit a Rainmaker on Matt, Takeshita hit Raging Fire on Nick, and then they switched Jacksons and did it again! Okada taunted Takeshita and shoved him, so Takeshita shoved him right back as Callis left the Monéy and got on the apron to break it up. Omega literally cleared the ring with a giant broom, and The Elite got their bag!

MJF Returns, Will Use Casino Gauntlet Shot at Worlds End!

Tony Schiavone was in the ring to conduct the contract signing for the AEW World Championship match at Worlds End. We learned that if any of these men engaged in physicality, they would forfeit their spot in the match. Samoa Joe came to the ring with Powerhouse Hobbs and HOOK in tow. He said he brought them out because he didn’t want to take any chances with Page and Swerve, both of whom had massive chains around their respective necks. Joe signed and said he’ll see both of them at Worlds End, and he will walk out as World Champion. Swerve told Joe he'd come back at Full Gear for the AEW World Title, and if circumstances were different, he’d be coming after Hangman. And with all their history, Swerve still has mutual respect for Page in some weird way. They also have a mutual hatred of Joe. Swerve remembers the last time he had a contract signing with Joe, he was left to sign in a pool of his own blood. And you know how he paid Joe back? He took his championship away from him. Now he has to jump through hoops and face obstacles. And you know how he’s going to pay Joe back? He’s going to take his championship away from him. Swerve said he’ll leave Joe with a boot print uglier than the face tattoo he had back in 2007. Swerve said Page better bring his big guns to Worlds End, and Joe better bring his army and his big guns to Worlds End.


“Because you cannot kill a god with bullets!”


The crowd erupted with “WHOSE HOUSE? SWERVE’S HOUSE!”


Schiavone noted we had two signatures, and Hangman spoke.


“I want to remind both of you where we were in July—not fighting each other, but fighting together to free the All Elite Men’s World Championship from a briefcase and to end the tyranny and bullshit of Jon Moxley and the Death Riders. That’s where we were. And Joe, had we figured that out before you challenged Jon Moxley for the World Championship, it could have as easily been you as World Champion. And Swerve, if we had figured out that we needed to fight together. If we had figured this out before you challenged Jon Moxley, it could just as easily have been you. But at All In, when we figured it out, when we fought together, it was neither of you; it was me, it was left to me to get the job done. And I did it and became the World Champion! And I knew that, as World Champion, that one by one, each of you would find your way across the ring from me. And I would allow you to compete for the championship you fought for alongside me. And Joe, I gave you that opportunity. I gave it to you at WrestleDream, and you failed against me. So instead of accepting defeat, you turned to Hobbs, you turned to Shibata, you turned to HOOK. Joe, you turned into what you fought against. Joe, you are worse than the Death Riders on their worst day. And Joe, you might stand here with the World Championship, Joe, but it is all that you have because you have no self-respect left. You have no sense of dignity. And admittedly, in the twilight years of your career, I would hate for the legend of Samoa Joe to be remembered as the piece of shit you are today.”


As the crowd chanted “COWBOY SHIT!” Joe said, “If anyone would know about that, it’s this godforsaken town!”


Page continued, “As World Champion, I knew Joe, and I planned on defeating you. I planned on defending the championship against everyone who helped me. I planned on defending the championship against Darby Allin. I planned on defending the championship against Will Ospreay. And I knew, I knew there would come a time as World Champion, when once again I would stand across the ring from you, Swerve. You said that you came back to AEW to challenge the World Champion, and had it not been Joe, it would have been me you stepped up to, and I would have expected nothing less from you. I would have given you the championship match that you deserved, Swerve. And if you defeated me, I would have accepted that and handed the championship over to you. But that is not the world we live in. At Worlds End, this will be a 3-way match. At Worlds End, Joe, I cannot guarantee who will leave as champion, but I can damn sure tell you this: it will not be you! Joe, you have messed up worse than you know in making an enemy of the two of us.”

Schiavone said, “Ladies and gentlemen, we have three signatures. In 10 days at Worlds End, it will be a 3-way match for AEW World Championsh….”


The lights went out.


MJF IS BACK!


And Manchester is singing his song as he comes down the aisle!


After getting in the ring, MJF reached through the ropes and was handed his Casino Gauntlet contract for a guaranteed AEW World Title shot by Smark Mark Sterling. MJF signed the contract and handed it to Schiavone! 


“Ladies and gentlemen, MJF has just cashed in his guaranteed world title shot that he won in the Casino Gauntlet at All In! It is now a 4-way match for the AE-...”


MJF grabbed the mic, “They get the point, Schiavone. Now get out of my ring, you tub of goo.”


MJF continued, “Now I’m sure you’re wondering why a guy like me would willingly execute his contract knowing I’d have to face three men instead of one.”


He looked at Page, “Hi, Seabiscuit! From the inception of this company, you’ve called me a coward, and while I had time off getting my stuff together and filming a movie, because, unlike you, I’m actually a star. I was festering over this, and eventually I realized it, Hangy. Maybe you were right. The old me would have taken every shortcut in the book just to get what I want, but that wouldn’t cut you deep now, would it? See, I need to hurt you, Cowboy. And I can’t think of a better way to do it by not just taking that title far away from you, but by beating you and two of your biggest rivals in one fell swoop. That way, you and your fans have absolutely zero excuses.”


Joe tried to cut in, “Well, that was a wonderful…”


MJF got right in his face, “SHUT YOUR MOUTH!”


“What’s going on, Joe, you mad? You upset? You gonna quote me a big superhero soliloquy? I ain’t afraid of you anymore, but I do still hate. See, when you took that title away from me, these people turned on me. Let’s be honest. They did. They did. And as much as it pains me to say this about these schmucks, they get to dictate who goes down as an all-time great. And I don’t want to go down as an all-time great. I need to. And these people made me question my abilities. Mine! Mine! Well, guess what, your luck, it’s run out, Sloppy Joe. See, Joe, I’m about to make you fall back. I’m talking, I’m about to make you fall back harder than your hairline. Worlds End, look at me, Worlds End, the same place where you ended my title reign? I’ll end yours.”


Swerve spoke up, “Gluteus Maximus, if there’s anybody you need to be afraid of in this ring, it’s me.”


MJF responded, “Wow, fire bars, Shane. You really remind me a lot of this famous musician. You have a lot in common. You both call yourself moguls. You both rock chains. You both used too much baby oil. And you’re both dogshit rappers. Oh, that’s right, P. Diddy! Pop quiz, class. Whose house? See, you people know him as Swerve, since I was 18 years old and we were both grinding it out on the indies trying to make a name for ourselves, I’ve known you as Shane.”


MJF directed himself at Page, “And I went to AEW, where I became the biggest homegrown star in the history of this company.”


He went back to Swerve, “And you went over to WWE.” The crowd booed this. “Hey, Hey, it’s a perfectly good company.”


He continued, “And you run there, however, ehhhhhhh, not great, not great. However, I must say I thoroughly enjoyed you twerking for top dollar. And then you came across the street, you came knocking at my door. I let you in graciously, and you went on to achieve some great things. You got jacked, bro. You beat Sloppy Joe over there for the World Title, and you held it for a whopping 126 days. Not bad, huh, folks? 406 (as he pointed to himself), but who’s counting?”


“But now we have a problem. You’re in my way. You’re biting the hand that feeds you. You’re swerving around <he stops to do Swerve’s dance> like you own the damn place. You’ve been a very messy tenant, so no, this isn’t your house; it’s my house. The rent is due, and the devil’s come to collect. Ladies and gentlemen, you can call me Michael Corleone because in one night, I’m about to handle all my family business. December 27th, Chicago, Illinois, Worlds End, I get back what is rightfully mine. My Triple B. My AEW World Championship. And do you all folks happen to know why? It’s because my name is Maxwell Jacob Friedman and I’m better than you…”


And he let the crowd finish the rest.

JetSpeed is Ready to Keep it Going in the Continental Classic

“Speedball” Mike Bailey and “The Jet” Kevin Knight spoke about keeping their eyes on the finals of the Continental Classic, with Knight mentioning he’s still a little sore after losing to Speedball. Bailey said he’s coming off two of the most significant victories of his career against Kyle Fletcher and one of the best wrestlers in the world, Kevin Knight. This Saturday, he has “Jungle” Jack Perry. And Knight said he needs to remind people who beat Darby Allin, and he needs to bring that same energy when he faces Okada on Saturday.

8-Woman Tag Match: TBS Champion Mercedes Moné, ROH Women’s World Champion Athena & MegaProblems (Megan Bayne and Marina Shafir) def. AEW Women’s World Tag Team Champions The Babes of Wrath (Harley Cameron and Willow Nightingale) & Timeless Love Bombs (“Timeless” Toni Storm and Mina Shirakawa) 

Moné and Nightingale started, but Cameron tagged in almost immediately to get an assist on a body splash for a quick pin attempt. Athena tagged in and decked Cameron, but Cameron came right back with a pair of kicks and then Sole Food. Shafir tagged in and took Cameron out with a sweep. Shirakawa made a blind tag and hit a springboard splash onto Shafir. Shirakawa caught Shafir in an STF and took Bayne down with a DDT at the same time! Storm tagged in and slammed Shirakawa onto Shafir, but was immediately attacked, and the match broke down quickly.


As Cameron tried to fight her way to the corner, all of her opponents pulled her teammates off the corner. Storm recovered and tagged in! She snapmared Shafir and then nailed a DDT before a hip attack in the corner. She tried for Storm Zero, but Athena stopped it with a thrust kick. Shirakawa hit a dropkick from the top to take out Athena, but Moné immediately put Shirakawa down with a backstabber. Cameron and Moné took each other out. Storm Zero, but Shafir escaped, and then Nightingale and Bayne tagged in! They traded shots until Nightingale hit a big spinebuster for a two-count. Bayne escaped a Dr. Bomb and met Willow on the top rope with a hurricanrana! Cameron clotheslined Cameron over the top, but Shafir sent her to the outside! Storm nailed a hip attack to knock Shafir off the apron, and Shirakawa took everyone out with a crossbody from the top! Athena took down Storm from behind, and Moné tagged in, but Athena still hit a dive to the outside. As Moné started to charge across the ring, Nightingale hit her with a POUNCE! Nightingale followed with a cannonball off the apron to Bayne.


When she got back in the ring, Athena hit Nightingale with an O-Face, and Moné quickly covered her to win the match for her team!

Continental Classic Gold League: PAC (6 points) def. “The ProtoStar” Kyle Fletcher (6 points)

PAC outwrestled the taller Fletcher and made a point of keeping him on the mat. PAC remained a step ahead of Fletcher with an elbow to the corner and a head scissor to send Fletcher to the outside. PAC missed a baseball slide, so Fletcher turned him inside out with a clothesline. PAC hit a jawbreaker over the rope, and Fletcher charged, but PAC sent him over the top and followed with a diving hurricanrana. 


PAC ran into a Fletcher boot in the corner, but then met Fletcher on the top rope and threw him with an overhead suplex! The two fought on the outside, with Fletcher hitting a half-and-half suplex on the floor, only for both men to return to the ring, where they took each other out with running clotheslines. As they fought back up, Fletcher reversed PAC’s momentum into a Michinoku Driver for a two count!


Both men struggled to their feet, but PAC hit a short-range kick in the corner. Fletcher bailed to the outside to avoid PAC coming from the top, but PAC changed his path and nailed Fletcher with a moonsault to the floor! PAC grabbed Fletcher in a Tiger Suplex that nearly won him the match at the 10-minute warning.


PAC went to the top, so Fletcher rolled away. They exchanged reversals until PAC hit a poisonrana. Fletcher cut off PAC’s momentum with a leg lariat and then a Liger Bomb for a two count. Fletcher nailed PAC with a running boot to the corner. PAC got out of the brainbuster, but Fletcher caught him off the top, so PAC tried to and eventually turned it into the Brutalizer. Fletcher got the bottom rope to break the hold. PAC hit his momentum clothesline for a nearfall! Fletcher is still in it. PAC went to the top, but Fletcher tripped him and hit the brainbuster on the second attempt. PAC kicked out at two!


Fletcher tried a brainbuster from the second rope, but PAC escaped with strikes and then an AVALANCHE POISONRANA! As the crowd came to their feet for their countryman, PAC hit the Black Arrow to get the pinfall and move into a 4-way tie in the Gold League!

AEW National Champion Ricochet and ROH World Champion Bandido Win the Dynamite Diamond Battle Royale

The participants for this match were: Luchasaurus, Mark Davis, Ace Austin, Max Caster, Anthony Bowens, Josh Alexander, Shelton Benjamin, and as Brodido made their way to the ring, they were attacked by The Demand, with Ricochet, Toa Liona and Bishop Kaun all in the match, as well!


Austin dove onto Ricochet on the outside as the bell rang to begin the battle royale. Max Caster tried to get Anthony Bowens to work with him, and they hit Scissor Me Timbers on Kaun! They were about to scissor, but Ricochet clotheslined Caster over the top, eliminating him!


Austin tried to take on Alexander and Davis, but the success didn’t last, and Davis backdropped him over the top. Davis threw Bowens to the ropes, so Ricochet lowered the top rope, and Bowens was eliminated. 


King and Davis exchanged blows until Luchasaurus tried to chokeslam them both! That didn’t work, so Benjamin came in and helped take out King and Davis. Then he caught Ricochet from the top and threw him to Luchasaurus, who slammed Ricochet to the mat. Benjamin charged Davis in the corner, but Davis ducked and sent Benjamin onto the apron. Alexander knocked Benjamin to the floor for the elimination. Luchasaurus eliminated Davis, but Alexander immediately eliminated Luchasaurus.


We’re down to King, Bandido, Alexander, Ricochet, Liona, and Kaun. The Demand worked over Bandido in a triple team, but King broke things up with a cannonball in the corner. Bandido ducked a charging Alexander to send him over the top, and he’s eliminated! King squashed Ricochet with a running crossbody on the barricade, only to be immediately sent into the crowd by Liona! Liona was about to chokeslam Bandido from the apron, but King made the save and eliminated himself and Liona! He sacrificed himself to save his partner! 


Bandido reversed a powerbomb attempt into a poisionrana to send Kaun over the top rope, and that means Bandido and Ricochet are the winners of the Dynamite Diamond Ring Battle Royale and will meet next week in the final on Christmas Eve!

Jon Moxley Knows He’s Alive

Moxley says he likes the Continental Classic. It’s simple. There’s nowhere to hide. It’s all about effort. He antagonized people. He pushes their buttons. He made Kyle O’Reilly try to pull his foot right off his body. Roderick Strong was at his best tonight, and Moxley knew he was 30 seconds away from being SOL in this tournament. He knows it’s an uphill climb to win against the elite of the elite, but he just wants to know that he didn’t leave any bullets in the chamber. He left all of them out there—all of them.

Continental Classic Blue League: Orange Cassidy (6 points) def Máscara Dorada (3 points)

This should be a tremendous mix of styles. Cassidy played smart early by tying up Dorada on the ground, but Dorada fought back with a similar strategy, surprising Cassidy. The speed picked up with Cassidy outpacing Dorada with some Lucha-esque offense. 


Cassidy could not solve Dorada for the next few minutes, as Dorada continued to strike and evade. Cassidy slowed things down with some light slaps, but got to the top carefully, only to be yanked down. With his hands in his pockets, Cassidy worked Dorada to the outside, but Dorada came back with a backbreaker and a shooting star press to the outside. Dorada came back in with a body press from the top to get a two count. Cassidy was too hurt to hit a Beach Break, so Dorada nailed a power slam for a nearfall. Cassidy tried to hit a tornado DDT, but Dorada stood up to save the impact, so Cassidy relaunched himself and hit the DDT on the second attempt! 


At the 10-minute warning, Cassidy got caught with a backbreaker, but Dorada couldn’t connect from the top and the two traded nearfalls. Dorada draped Cassidy over the top by his arm. Dorada went to the top, but Cassidy was ready and blocked him. Dorada tried to turn it into a pin, but Cassidy reversed that and trapped him for a three-count! Cassidy has two straight wins and is at six points!

Mercedes Moné and Athena Want the AEW Women’s World Tag Team Titles

Lexy Nair asked Moné and Athena if their win tonight avenged their loss in the AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championship Tournament. Moné wondered why she wasn’t asking about Moné pinning one-half of the AEW Women’s World Tag Team Champions tonight. Athena said she had a good idea. Since Worlds End is coming up, how about Athena and Moné challenge Babes of Wrath for the AEW Women’s World Tag Team Titles! And Moné wanted to throw out another challenge, so this Saturday on Collision, she’s going to put her British championships on the line against a local! 

Jamie Hayter def. Isla Dawn

Hayter had plenty of support from the home country fans, but Dawn came out strong by sending Hayter over the top and followed with a dropkick and then a kick from the apron. That put Dawn in control for the next few minutes until the two collided in the middle of the ring, thinking the same thing. Hayter fought back with a clothesline in the corner and a suplex for a two count. Dawn recovered with a side kick and a side suplex, which got a two count. 


Hayter elbowed her way out of trouble, put Dawn down, and then hit Hayterade to win it! The two shook hands after the match until Triangle of Madness attacked! They were in charge until AEW Women’s World Champion Kris Statlander hit the ring to make the save! She was clearing house until Hayter hit her with Hayterade by mistake! She didn’t seem to worry and posed with the AEW Women’s World Championship.

AEW World Tag Team Championship Match: FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) (c) def. Bang Bang Gang (Juice Robison and Austin Gunn)

Our main event is for the AEW World Tag Team Championships! Gunn played with the Bang Bang Gang-friendly crowd and knocked Wheeler down with a shoulder block to bring in Juice. Harwood distracted the ref, so Wheeler gouged Robinson's eyes, and Harwood tagged in.


FTR kept using diversions and Stokely to get the advantage until Robinson got help from Gunn to escape a suplex. Robinson catapulted Wheeler over the top, and Bang Bang Gang was in charge! FTR didn’t stay down for long and wound up isolating Gunn in their corner for multiple minutes. The referee missed Robinson capturing Harwood in a small package because Wheeler was distracting him. Gunn turned things around, but Wheeler tagged in and got help from Harwood with a clothesline to finish a sunset flip, yet Gunn was able to escape!


Gunn finally escaped FTR long enough to tag Juice, and he unloaded on Harwood and Wheeler with jabs as the crowd was with him on every shot! Robinson nailed a spinebuster on Wheeler and then another on Harwood to get a nearfall on the same move that beat FTR last month. FTR almost got a double suplex, but Gunn broke it up, and Robinson cradled Harwood into a nearfall. Robinson went to the top, but Stokely got on the apron with something in his hand. Wheeler came over to help, so Robinson ran him into Stoke, and the powder flew out of his hand! Harwood tried to attack, so Robinson moved, and Wheeler was knocked to the floor. Robinson rolled up Harwood for a two-count! That was close!


Gunn superplexed Harwood, and Robinson nailed a splash for their own version of Power and Glory, but Wheeler came off the top with a splash of his own to break it up. Gunn got Harwood with a Famouser, and Robinson covered, but Harwood kicked out in the nick of time. On the outside, Gunn charged at Wheeler, who sent Gunn into the timekeeper’s area. Back in the ring, Robinson had no one to tag, so FTR looked primed to hit the Shatter Machine, but Gunn pulled Wheeler into the ringpost! Robinson hit the Left Hand of God, followed by a Famouser, and the referee counted to three as Harwood had his foot on the ropes. The referee waved it off as Bang Bang Gang celebrated with the titles. Harwood chop-blocked Robinson, and Wheeler came off the top with a stomp to the knee! Harwood locked in an inverted figure four as Wheeler held off Gunn, so Robinson had no choice but to tap out.
