AEW Dynamite Preview

AEW Dynamite is LIVE TONIGHT at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT on TBS and streaming on HBO Max! Ontario, California is the final stop before AEW Grand Slam Australia this Saturday on a night with golden opportunities up for grabs!

The AEW Women’s World Championship will be decided in a strap match, as AEW Women's World Champion “The Cosmic Killer” Kris Statlander named the stipulation on Collision after Thekla whipped her with a belt. Can Thekla handle “Straplander” in this championship rematch?

TNT Champion “Psycho Killer” Tommaso Ciampa will defend against former TNT Champion “The Protostar” Kyle Fletcher. Fletcher’s plan of getting a hero’s welcome at Grand Slam Australia means needing to win the TNT Title tonight, but Ciampa has no intentions of giving up “Silvey” anytime soon!

Plus, former AEW World Champions, Kenny Omega and Swerve Strickland, will have a face-to-face interview in the midst of rising tensions between the two. And the #1 contenders for FTR’s AEW World Tag Team Titles will be determined in a 3-Way Match between the Young Bucks, Matt and Nick Jackson, the Rascalz’s Dezmond Xavier and Myron Reed and a wild card team!

That’s just some of what will go down tonight in Ontario! Here’s your complete AEW Dynamite preview for February 11, 2026.

AEW Dynamite Matches, Preview for Ontario

AEW Women’s World Championship Strap Match: “The Cosmic Killer” Kris Statlander (c) vs. “The Toxic Spider” Thekla

Ever since Statlander successfully defended the AEW Women’s World Championship against Thekla on Dynamite two weeks ago, Triangle of Madness have continued to harass Statlander and her friends, AEW Women’s World Tag Team Champions The Babes of Wrath, Harley Cameron and TBS Champion Willow Nightingale.

Statlander agreed to give Thekla a championship rematch as long as no one got involved in the Babes’ tag team championship eliminator. However, Statlander made Thekla wait until this past Saturday’s Collision to name the stipulation for said match. An impatient Thekla attacked Statlander as she was about to reveal the stipulation and proceeded to whip her with a belt, as Julia Hart and Skye Blue held Statlander on the mat. An incensed Statlander recovered enough to inform Thekla that she has to deal with “Straplander” in a strap match! Who walks out of Dynamite as the AEW Women’s World Champion?

TNT Championship Match: “Psycho Killer” Tommaso Ciampa (c) vs. “The Protostar” Kyle Fletcher

It's been only two weeks since Ciampa debuted in AEW. Yet in that time, he has beaten Mark Briscoe for the TNT Title and successfully defended against Roderick Strong and the CMLL World Heavyweight Champion, Claudio Castagnoli, in a 3-Way Match. Now, he walks into another defense tonight against a former TNT Champion in Fletcher.

With the Don Callis Family hunting for gold, Fletcher’s sights have been directed back toward the TNT Title, whether it be with guidance from Callis himself or the pep talk he got from AEW International Champion “The Rainmaker” Kazuchika Okada on Collision. After Ciampa beat Strong and Castagnoli in the Collision main event, Fletcher appeared and told Ciampa he wanted to walk into his hometown of Sydney at Grand Slam Australia as the TNT Champion so he could get the hero’s welcome he deserves. Ciampa wasted no time accepting the match, so he’ll face his third challenger in a week for the TNT Title tonight on Dynamite. Can Fletcher make good on his homecoming plans, or will Ciampa’s TNT Title reign continue?

AEW World Tag Team Championship #1 Contenders Match: The Rascalz (Dezmond Xavier and Myron Reed) vs. Young Bucks (Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson) vs. Wild Card Team

As AEW World Tag Team Champions FTR impatiently wait for their next contenders, all eyes will be on Dynamite tonight! On Collision, the Young Bucks beat GOA, Bishop Kaun and Toa Liona, to get into this 3-Way that already featured the in-ring debut of The Rascalz’s Reed, as well as the unknown of the wild card team.

Can the Rascalz build on the momentum of winning the parking lot fight on Collision? Are the Bucks set to capitalize on being at home with plenty of motivation? Or will the wild card team walk into Dynamite as an unknown and walk out with a future shot at the AEW World Tag Team Titles? There’s a lot at stake with plenty of intriguing factors in this #1 contenders’ match!

Trios Match: Don Callis Family (Konosuke Takeshita, Josh Alexander and Mark Davis) vs. Death Riders (AEW Continental Champion Jon Moxley, CMLL World Heavyweight Champion Claudio Castagnoli and PAC)

We’re just four days away from AEW Continental Champion Jon Moxley versus “The Alpha” Konosuke Takeshita at Grand Slam Australia. Still, tonight, they’ll be on opposite sides of a Trios Match in the latest battle between the Death Riders and the Don Callis Family. Last week, Takeshita was victorious for his side when he pinned Daniel Garcia, so tonight will be another chance to build momentum before he challenges Moxley on Saturday. And how will Moxley try to send a final message in this trios showdown? The war between the Don Callis Family and Death Riders continues on Dynamite!

Kenny Omega and Swerve Strickland Face-to-Face Interview

Ever since they both declared their intentions to win back the AEW World Championship, there have been growing tensions between Omega and Swerve. Those came to a head last week when Swerve appeared during Omega’s match with Andrade El Ídolo. While it appeared Strickland was trying to help Omega, it backfired, and Andrade came out victorious to move on to the AEW World Title #1 Contender Match with “Hangman” Adam Page at Grand Slam Australia.

After losing to Andrade in back-to-back weeks, both Swerve and Omega were knocked out of AEW World Title contention – but will professional frustrations turn personal? We’ll find out tonight!

Tag Team Match: Orange Cassidy & Roderick Strong vs. Daniel Garcia & Clark Connors

On Saturday at Grand Slam Australia, Orange Cassidy will team with “Timeless” Toni Storm in a mixed tag hair match against the Death Riders’ Wheeler Yuta and Marina Shafir, where the loser of the fall will have their head shaved. Tonight, Cassidy takes up a different cause, as he looks for revenge on behalf of Darby Allin after Allin was left in the Las Vegas desert by Clark Connors and Gabe Kidd. Cassidy teams with Roderick Strong to face Connors and Daniel Garcia tonight in Ontario!
