TONIGHT, we’re in Las Vegas, Nevada, for AEW Dynamite LIVE at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT on TBS and streaming on HBO Max! And as you might expect, the stakes will be high in Sin City!
The AEW World Championship picture is more competitive than we’ve ever seen, which makes for some outstanding first-time one-on-one matchups. That includes tonight’s AEW World Championship Eliminator. Brody King will finally have his shot at AEW World Champion MJF, and if King wins, he’ll get a shot at the AEW World Title! Plus, two of the top contenders, Kenny Omega and Andrade El Ídolo, will meet with the winner moving on to AEW Grand Slam Australia to vie for an AEW World Title match at AEW Revolution!
And while AEW World Trios Champion “Hangman” Adam Page remains focused on reclaiming the AEW World Championship, the Don Callis Family will try to stand in his way when they send Mark Davis into singles action against Page tonight!
In a rematch from New Year’s Smash, AEW National Champion Ricochet will put his title on the line in his city against “Jungle” Jack Perry, as Perry looks to take everything from Ricochet after The Demand took out Perry’s partner, Luchasaurus!
All that and more will go down tonight in Las Vegas! Here’s your complete AEW Dynamite preview for February 4, 2026.
AEW Dynamite Matches, Preview for Las Vegas
AEW World Championship Eliminator Match: MJF (c) vs. Brody King
Did MJF talk his way into trouble? It was the AEW World Champion who told Brody King that if he wanted a chance at the AEW World Title, he’d need to beat meaningful competition. King agreed, and after a discussion with Tony Khan, they found the right level of competition for King: MJF himself! That brings us to tonight’s AEW World Championship Eliminator, where if King defeats MJF, he’ll earn a shot at the AEW World Title.
While this will be their first one-on-one encounter in AEW, King famously choked MJF out during a 4-Way Match at Dynamite 300. Can MJF protect the Triple B and eliminate King from the crowded group of contenders gunning for the AEW World Championship?
Kenny Omega vs. Don Callis Family’s Andrade El Ídolo
The hype is real, and the stakes are high. For the first time anywhere, Kenny Omega and Andrade El Ídolo go one-on-one tonight in Las Vegas, with a huge opportunity at AEW Grand Slam Australia on February 14 on the line. The winner of tonight’s match will move on to Grand Slam Australia to battle for an AEW World Championship shot at AEW Revolution in Los Angeles on March 15.
The long history between Omega and Don Callis is well-documented, and Andrade became part of that when he attacked Omega and joined the Don Callis Family on the 6th Anniversary of Dynamite back in October of last year. Now, with both men on their own journeys to the AEW World Championship, their paths will cross again tonight in Las Vegas. Can Andrade beat Swerve Strickland and Omega in back-to-back weeks? Will Omega earn a measure of revenge and take another step towards reclaiming the AEW World Title? You do not want to miss this long-awaited, high-stakes showdown between two of the best in the universe!
AEW National Championship Match: Ricochet (c) vs. “Jungle” Jack Perry
What started as a battle over the AEW National Championship has become much more personal between Ricochet and “Jungle” Jack Perry. The two closed out 2025 fighting for the AEW National Championship at New Year’s Smash. While Ricochet retained on that night after some timely distraction from GOA, it was The Demand’s attack that took out Luchasaurus that bothered Perry the most. Ever since then, he’s been on a mission to get back to Ricochet to take “everything” from him, including the AEW National Title.
After defeating Anthony Bowens on Collision last month to earn this AEW National Championship rematch, Perry has been impatiently waiting for revenge. Last week, he found himself the victim of a 3-on-1 attack by The Demand that ended when Bishop Kaun and Toa Liona put Perry through a table as Ricochet berated him. Will Perry be able to overcome The Demand and take the AEW National Championship from Ricochet? Or can Ricochet turn Perry away again to notch his seventh successful defense of the AEW National Title?
AEW World Trios Champion “Hangman” Adam Page vs. Don Callis Family’s Mark Davis
No one said the road to the AEW World Championship would ever be easy or fair. “Hangman” Adam Page is well aware of this after what he went through with the Death Riders to win the AEW World Championship for a second time last year. And now, he finds himself on the hunt once again, but he’s far from alone. On a night where Kenny Omega and Andrade El Ídolo will fight for the right to vie for an AEW World Championship match at Grand Slam Australia, Page will have a much different challenge. Perhaps in an effort to improve Andrade’s chances of becoming AEW World Champion, the Don Callis Family is throwing “a big, pissed off surprise” in Page’s path in the form of Mark Davis tonight on Dynamite!
