AEW Dynamite Preview

AEW Dynamite is LIVE TONIGHT at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT on TBS and streaming on HBO Max from San Jose, California! It’s the final Dynamite before AEW Revolution this Sunday at 8 p.m. ET/5 pm. PT on HBO Max PPV  in Los Angeles, as tensions hit a fever pitch!

The animosity between AEW World Champion MJF and “Hangman” Adam Page seems to grow in leaps and bounds anytime the two are in the same place. Tonight, we’ll hear from both men in a press conference before they go one-on-one in a Texas Death Match for the AEW World Championship this Sunday at Revolution!

We’ll see the first of two championship matches this week between TNT and AEW World Trios Champion “The Protostar” Kyle Fletcher and “Speedball” Mike Bailey, as on Dynamite, Fletcher will defend the TNT Title against Bailey ahead of their AEW World Trios Title match at Revolution.

TBS and AEW Women’s World Tag Team Champion Willow Nightingale continues to juggle the responsibility of holding two titles, and tonight will be no different. After a successful defense in the UK over the weekend, she’ll put the TBS Title on the line against the new CMLL Women’s World Champion, Persephone, who took that championship from Mercedes Moné this past Friday in Arena México.

The Death Riders and Don Callis Family ended Collision in a brawl, so tonight, AEW Continental Champion Jon Moxley and CMLL World Heavyweight Champion Claudio Castagnoli will battle NJPW World TV Champion “The Alpha” Konosuke Takeshita and Hechicero in tag team action before Moxley and Takeshita fight for the AEW Continental Championship at Revolution.

After Tommaso Ciampa shockingly attacked Mark Briscoe on Collision to align with FTR, Briscoe challenged Ciampa, Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler to face him and the Young Bucks, Matt and Nick Jackson, tonight on Dynamite. And that all goes down before the Bucks challenge FTR for the AEW World Tag Team Championship at Revolution this Sunday.

Plus, Orange Cassidy and Darby Allin continue their war with The Dogs, as they’ll face the pairing of David Finlay and “War Ready” Gabe Kidd.

All that and more is coming your way from San Jose! Here’s your complete AEW Dynamite preview for March 11, 2026.

AEW Dynamite Matches, Preview for San Jose

AEW World Champion MJF & “Hangman” Adam Page Press Conference

We’re just four days away from an AEW World Championship match with higher stakes than usual. MJF will defend against “Hangman” Adam Page in a Texas Death Match, but if Page loses, he can never challenge for the AEW World Title again!

Tonight, the two will be in the same place for a press conference ahead of this massive clash of opponents who will stop at nothing to walk out of Revolution as the AEW World Champion!

TNT Championship Match: AEW World Trios Champion and TNT Champion “The Protostar” Kyle Fletcher (c) vs. “Speedball” Mike Bailey

The start of Revolution week means the first of two championship showdowns between Fletcher and Bailey. The TNT Title will be up for grabs tonight in San Jose, as Bailey looks to repeat the success he had against Fletcher in the Continental Classic with another win tonight to take the TNT Championship.

Fletcher and Bailey will also be on opposite sides of the AEW World Trios Championship match at Revolution, with Fletcher, AEW International Champion “The Rainmaker” Kazuchika Okada and Mark Davis defending against Bailey, “The Jet” Kevin Knight and Místico after the Don Callis Family took the titles from Jet Set Rodeo last week on Dynamite!

But first, it’s Fletcher and Bailey one-on-one for the TNT Title tonight! Who will walk into Revolution as the TNT Champion?

TBS Championship Match: AEW Women’s World Tag Team Champion and TBS Champion Willow Nightingale (c) vs. CMLL World Women’s Champion Persephone

There’s been no doubt about Willow Nightingale’s embrace of the double-champion grind. Over the weekend, “Megasus” Megan Bayne and “Colossal” Lena Kross attacked Nightingale, along with her Babes of Wrath partner, Harley Cameron. Nightingale still managed to defend her TBS Title in England successfully, but now she has to make the long trip to San Jose for another huge title match.

Persephone also had a successful weekend thanks to her victory over Mercedes Moné to win the CMLL World Women’s Championship this past Friday in Arena México.

Can Nightingale remain a double champion with such a breakneck schedule? Or will Persephone become a double champion instead?

Tag Team Match: AEW Continental Champion Jon Moxley & CMLL World Heavyweight Champion Claudio Castagnoli of the Death Riders vs. NJPW World TV Champion “The Alpha” Konosuke Takeshita & Hechicero of the Don Callis Family

We were treated to a 2025 Continental Classic rematch on Collision when Castagnoli and Takeshita battled in the main event for the first time since their time-limit draw in last year’s tournament. Takeshita earned the victory on Saturday night, but after the match, he started verbally sparring with Moxley until Hechicero nailed Moxley from behind, seemingly without Takeshita’s request. That sparked a brawl between all four men that referees couldn’t break apart as Collision came to a close.

There was no choice but to let these four men battle it out in tag team action tonight, as Moxley and Takeshita count the days until their no-time limit rematch for the AEW Continental Championship at Revolution!

Trios Match: “Psycho Killer” Tommaso Ciampa & AEW World Tag Team Champions FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) with Big Stoke vs. Dem Bucks (Matt Jackson, Nick Jackson and Mark Briscoe)

On Collision, Tommaso Ciampa suffered a setback in his fight to get back the TNT Title when he lost to Daniel Garcia after some inadvertent interference from Mark Briscoe, who was at ringside for guest commentary. Ciampa and Briscoe had words, but Briscoe came back to the ring to stand beside Ciampa across from FTR when the latter seemed to confront the Psycho Killer.

Cooler heads prevailed until Ciampa shockingly attacked Briscoe at the top of the ramp with applause from FTR! Briscoe threw out the challenge to FTR and Ciampa later in the night, and the match was made official for Dynamite,

There’s already plenty of anger and animosity between the Bucks and FTR before their AEW World Tag Team Title match at Revolution, but now that Ciampa has revealed his true colors, his issues with Briscoe will only escalate the combustible elements in this Trios Match!

Tag Team Match: Darby Allin & Orange Cassidy vs. The Dogs (“War Ready” Gabe Kidd and David Finlay)

Darby Allin and Orange Cassidy didn’t get much time to celebrate their recent victory over Gabe Kidd and Clark Connors on last week’s Dynamite, because David Finlay made a surprise debut to attack Allin and Cassidy with a shillelagh alongside The Dogs! On Collision, the dangerous trio tore through their opponents in a dominant victory, sending a clear message to Allin and Cassidy. With the scales tipped in their favor, The Dogs go back to war against Allin and Cassidy tonight in San Jose!
