AEW Dynamite is LIVE TONIGHT at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT on TBS and streaming on HBO Max from Roy Wilkins Auditorium in St. Paul, Minnesota! Power and opportunity are both up for grabs in a high-stakes rematch of two former AEW World Champions!
Swerve Strickland agreed to face Kenny Omega once again, but the stakes had to be much higher. So tonight, Strickland puts up his AEW World Title #1 Contendership vs. Omega’s EVP Status! Who walks away with it all on Dynamite?! And AEW World Champion MJF, who will certainly be interested in Swerve vs. Kenny 2, makes his return to Dynamite for the first time since his successful championship defense against “Hangman” Adam Page in a Texas Death Match at AEW Revolution.
AEW Women’s World Champion “The Toxic Spider” Thekla had quite the theory on what happened to “Timeless” Toni Storm when she was found taken out backstage on Dynamite, positing that perhaps Storm faked her own demise to avoid having to fight The Toxic Spider. Storm’s partner, Mina Shirakawa, will fight for love AND the AEW Women’s World Title when she faces Thekla tonight in St. Paul!
Plus, Darby Allin has his eyes on the AEW World Championship after beating Gabe Kidd in a Coffin Match last week on Dynamite. However, before he gets there, Allin finds himself in the path of a raging bull, RUSH, as these two meet for the first time tonight!
And on Slam Dunk Sunday Collision, The Dogs’ David Finlay and Clark Connors laid out a challenge to Orange Cassidy and the newest member of the Conglomeration, Roderick Strong, to face them on Dynamite!
We’ll have all that and so much more coming your way from St. Paul! Here’s your complete AEW Dynamite preview for March 25, 2026.
AEW Dynamite Matches, Preview for St. Paul
AEW World Championship #1 Contendership vs. EVP Status: Swerve Strickland vs. Kenny Omega
It was just over a month ago that Strickland and Omega had their first match, but that dream matchup turned into a nightmare for Omega. After beating Omega with some questionable tactics, Swerve took things to an unnecessarily violent level when he hanged Omega over the ropes by a chain before delivering a devastating Vertebreaker through the announce desk!
That kept Omega out of action until Revolution, when he returned to save Brody King from a Swerve Stomp through a cinder block after Strickland beat King in a singles match. Last week, Omega laid out the challenge for Swerve to put up his #1 Contendership for the AEW World Championship. Swerve wasn't content with the idea of beating Omega again with nothing to show for it, so he demanded Omega’s power, his EVP status, also be on the line.
Can Omega get revenge and secure the AEW World Title shot he's been after since the beginning of the year? Or will Swerve take the next step on his dangerous path back to the AEW World Champion – all with executive power?
AEW World Champion MJF Returns to Dynamite!
MJF will have plenty to say when he returns to Dynamite for the first time since Revolution! Coming off his emotional, blood-soaked victory against “Hangman” Adam Page in a Texas Death Match, MJF still has a litany of contenders for the Triple B. But what are his plans for the AEW World Championship?
AEW Women’s World Championship Match: “The Toxic Spider” Thekla (c) vs. Mina Shirakawa
Mina Shirakawa earned a huge win last week over Marina Shafir in a NO HOLDS BARRED match after stepping in to replace her lover, the incapacitated “Timeless” Toni Storm. Now, Shirakawa has a chance to fight for the AEW Women's World Title against Thekla!
On Collision, Thekla said Storm faked her demise to avoid the AEW Women's World Champion, so Shirakawa will have some extra motivation to defend the honor of Storm and win the AEW Women's World Title tonight!
Darby Allin vs. RUSH
No one said becoming the AEW World Champion was easy. A week after defeating Gabe Kidd in a Coffin Match and declaring his intentions to come after the AEW World Title, Allin takes on the unpredictable RUSH of LFI.
After impressive showings in the Blackjack Battle Royale at Revolution Zero Hour and this past weekend in Trios action, RUSH faces Allin for the first time. Will RUSH give Allin the horns, or can Darby handle another violent heavy-hitter like he did last week? There's no telling what these two will do to each other, so you won't want to miss this first-time clash!
The Conglomeration (Orange Cassidy and Roderick Strong) vs. The Dogs (David Finlay and Clark Connors)
The Conglomeration officially and finally gained a new member over the weekend when Roderick Strong announced he has in fact joined the beloved group, following a tag team victory over Lethal Twist with his new partner, Orange Cassidy, on Slam Dunk Sunday. The Dogs immediately killed the vibes by challenging Strong and Cassidy to face them on Dynamite. Tonight, Finlay and Connors take on Cassidy and Strong in tag team action!
