AEW Dynamite is LIVE TONIGHT at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT on TBS and streaming on HBO Max from El Paso, Texas!
As the card for AEW Revolution continues to take shape, the AEW World Championship will be on the line to begin Dynamite. AEW World Champion MJF will defend against one-third of the AEW World Trios Champions, “The Jet” Kevin Knight, just 11 days before MJF is scheduled to defend against one of Knight’s partners and MJF’s heated rival, “Hangman” Adam Page, in a Texas Death Match at Revolution. And Page will also be in action tonight, as he prepares for what could be his final shot at the AEW World Title next weekend.
AEW Women’s World Champion Thekla will make her first defense against former AEW Women’s World Champion Thunder Rosa! And another week spells another Don Callis Family member for AEW Continental Champion Jon Moxley to deal with, as tonight, he takes on the masterful Hechicero.
Plus, The Dogs, Gabe Kidd and Clark Connors, will continue their war with Darby Allin and Orange Cassidy, and we’ll see the AEW TV debut of The IInspiration, Cassie Lee and Jessie McKay, against The Brawling Birds, Jamie Hayter and Alex Windsor!
Get ready for a hot night in El Paso! Here’s your complete AEW Dynamite preview for March 4, 2026.
AEW Dynamite Matches, Preview for El Paso
AEW World Championship Match: MJF (c) vs. AEW World Trios Champion “The Jet” Kevin Knight
This past weekend brought us a wonderfully wild turn of events on Collision when a confident Knight confronted a furious MJF as the AEW World Champion was demanding that the Texas Death Match stipulation for his defense against Hangman Page at Revolution be changed. That led to MJF challenging Knight to face him for the AEW World Championship in El Paso!
With just four days' notice, Knight has a chance to prove he’s truly world-championship material if he can take the AEW World Title from MJF tonight!
AEW Women’s World Championship Match: “The Toxic Spider” Thekla (c) vs. Thunder Rosa
The viciousness and disrespect from Thekla know no bounds, but there is no fear in her challenger, Thunder Rosa!
Since recently returning to the ring following a seven-month absence, Thunder has a pair of victories against Triangle of Madness, including this past weekend in tag action alongside Kris Statlander over Sisters of Sin. Statlander has been steadfast in her warnings for Thunder to be careful when it comes to Thekla, but tonight’s challenger hasn’t flinched in her focus on becoming AEW Women’s World Champion once again.
Who will leave El Paso with the AEW Women’s World Title?
AEW Continental Champion Jon Moxley of the Death Riders vs. Hechicero of the Don Callis Family
Hechicero will be the latest member of the Don Callis Family to take a shot at AEW Continental Champion Jon Moxley when the two meet for the first time one-on-one tonight!
Indeed, Callis is using this as another opportunity to try to hurt Moxley as he gets ready to face “The Alpha” Konosuke Takeshita in a no-time limit rematch for the AEW Continental Championship at Revolution. Moxley managed to handle everything the Family’s El Clon could throw at him in last week’s Eliminator Match on Dynamite, but days later, Takeshita and Moxley brawled on Collision!
Can Hechicero get a piece of Mox with Takeshita’s challenge looming at Revolution?
The Dogs (Gabe Kidd and Clark Connors) vs. Darby Allin & Orange Cassidy
Gabe Kidd and Clark Connors have said they won’t stop until Darby Allin is “pushing up daisies,” but Allin has had some backup against Kidd and Connors thanks to Orange Cassidy. Last week, Kidd beat Cassidy, but that wasn’t enough, so Connors came out to further the attack. Luckily, Allin made the save for Cassidy as they ran the Dogs from the ring. The showdown between these two sides goes down tonight on Dynamite!
Brawling Birds (Jamie Hayter and Alex Windsor) vs. The IInspiration (Cassie Lee and Jessie McKay)
At House Rules in Brisbane, Australia, The IInspiration made their successful AEW debut and threw out a challenge that the Brawling Birds answered, leaving Cassie and Jessie feeling like Hayter and Windsor tried to steal their spotlight on their big night. Which team gets the win in The IInspiration’s first match on AEW TV?
AEW World Trios Champion “Hangman” Adam Page in Action!
On a night where Page will watch MJF defend the AEW World Championship against his Jet Set Rodeo partner, “The Jet” Kevin Knight, Page will also be in action on Dynamite, just 11 days before Page is scheduled to face MJF for the AEW World Championship in a Texas Death Match on March 15 in Los Angeles at Revolution!
