Tonight, we’re celebrating the 6th Anniversary of AEW Dynamite with a LIVE 2.5-Hour Special at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT on TBS and streaming on HBO Max from Hollywood, Florida at Hard Rock Live at Seminole Hard Rock!
AEW World Champion “Hangman” Adam Page pledged his allegiance to The Opps with Katsuyori Shibata injured, so tonight, he’ll team with two-thirds of the AEW World Trios Champions to face Jon Moxley, Daniel Garcia, and Claudio Castagnoli of the Death Riders.
The Death Riders will have a busy night, as Marina Shafir and Wheeler Yuta will also be in action against AEW Women’s World Champion Kris Statlander and Darby Allin in a Mixed Tornado Tag Match. Orange Cassidy will step in for his injured fellow Conglomeration member, Hologram, to challenge “The Protostar” Kyle Fletcher for the TNT Championship.
Kenny Omega will be back in action for the first time in a month when he joins the AEW World Tag Team Champions, Brodido’s Brody King and ROH World Champion Bandido, against Josh Alexander of the Don Callis Family and the Young Bucks. Jurassic Express will make their official return to Dynamite after reuniting at AEW All Out. Plus, “Timeless” Toni Storm returns to Hollywood … Florida, and so much more!
Here’s your complete AEW Dynamite preview for October 1, 2025.
AEW Dynamite Matches, Preview for Wednesday, October 1
Trios Match: AEW World Champion “Hangman” Adam Page & AEW World Trios Champions Samoa Joe and Powerhouse Hobbs of The Opps vs. Jon Moxley, Daniel Garcia & Claudio Castagnoli of the Death Riders
When you have Hangman’s back, he will have yours, even if that means reopening an old wound that’s still somewhat fresh. After coming to the aid of Samoa Joe and Powerhouse Hobbs last week against the Death Riders, the AEW World Champion promised The Opps he’d be there for them with Katsuyori Shibata out of action, just like they were there for him in his battles with the Death Riders.
This rivalry has a new wrinkle, though, with Daniel Garcia aligning with Death Riders three weeks ago on Dynamite. It was Garcia who defeated Shibata at AEW Tailgate Brawl to take him out, making quick enemies of Joe and Hobbs.
Can the Opps gain a measure of revenge? Will the Death Riders continue their run of violence? This huge trios match comes your way tonight!
Mixed Tornado Tag Match: Darby Allin & AEW Women’s World Champion Kris Statlander vs. Wheeler Yuta & Marina Shafir of the Death Riders
Last week, AEW Women’s World Champion Kris Statlander defied the Death Riders by blowing off their invitation to join the group, capping her decision with a shot to Wheeler Yuta and a double-finger salute to Jon Moxley. Immediately after, Darby Allin arrived on the scene with a flamethrower and challenged Moxley to an I Quit Match at WrestleDream on October 18, which was accepted and made official.
Then, Yuta and Shafir quickly dispatched of their opponents on Collision over the weekend, and after the match, Yuta took aim at Statlander, saying she turned her back on the people who cared for her like she always does, so now they’ll have to punish her for rebuffing them. Yuta even went so far as to take credit for Statlander’s championship victory, citing her use of the Seatbelt pin that he suggested to her.
This should be an epic fight on a Wednesday night!
Trios Match: Josh Alexander of the Don Callis Family & the Young Bucks (Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson) vs. Kenny Omega & AEW World Tag Team Champions Brodido (Brody King and ROH World Champion Bandido)
Kenny Omega is back!
On Collision, Brody King reminded the Don Callis Family that if you try to take someone out and don’t get the job done, they’ll come back to settle the score. In fact, he let them know that on Dynamite, Brodido would be tagging with the returning Omega to face Josh Alexander and the Young Bucks!
It was four weeks ago when Alexander put a target on Omega before they met in an 8-Man Tag Match – and after picking up the win, Alexander, along with Kyle Fletcher, followed through on his intentions of putting Omega on the shelf with a devastating post-match attack that involved spiking Omega through a chair.
It’s only appropriate to have Omega, as one of the men who helped build AEW, back for the 6th Anniversary of Dynamite, especially with such great partners in Brodido, although the mood between these two sides will be anything but celebratory. Still, this should be an epic match tonight on Dynamite!
TNT Championship: “The Protostar” Kyle Fletcher (c) vs. Orange Cassidy
We were supposed to see Kyle Fletcher put his TNT Championship on the line against Hologram’s undefeated streak on the 6th Anniversary of Dynamite, but Fletcher messed with those plans just days ago on Collision, when he attacked Hologram at the beginning of the night, putting him out of action.
After Fletcher successfully defended the TNT Title against Komander that same night, he asked for someone to get on his level and step up to face him for the title on Dynamite, and so Orange Cassidy will look to avenge fellow Conglomeration member Hologram and win his first TNT Championship.
OC, of course, made a victorious return to action last week in trios action against the Don Callis Family and ruined Don’s newest masterpiece. Will Fletcher make his fourth successful defense of the TNT Championship? Or will OC, the former two-time AEW International Champion, add some new gold to his backpack?
“Timeless” Toni Storm Returns to Hollywood (Florida)!
We have not seen “Timeless” Toni Storm since she lost her AEW Women’s World Championship to Kris Statlander at AEW All Out, but Hollywood, Florida, will be graced by the presence of The Timeless One tonight!
What will she have to say to her adoring fans after losing her beloved AEW Women’s World Championship?
Jurassic Express Returns
At All Out, Jack Perry made a shocking reappearance, and Luchasaurus was subsequently reborn, as we saw on Collision how Perry brought Luchasaurus back from what we assumed was extinction. Tonight, Jurassic Express make their official return to AEW Dynamite!
