AEW Dynamite Preview

We begin the second week of our residency at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, PA, tonight when AEW Dynamite comes to you live at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT on TBS and streaming on HBO Max! If the intensity and atmosphere we felt last week is any indication, you can expect the excitement to be off the charts.

The TBS Championship will be on the line when Mercedes Moné defends against the woman who tapped her out two weeks ago (although Moné wasn’t legal!), Alex Windsor. The AEW World Champion “Hangman” Adam Page teams with Kenny Omega and JetSpeed to take on TNT Champion “The Protostar” Kyle Fletcher, Josh Alexander, and the Young Bucks in what should be a wild All Star 8-Man Tag! Plus, so much more.

Here’s your complete AEW Dynamite preview for September 3, 2025.

AEW Dynamite Matches, Preview for Wednesday, September 3

TBS Championship Match: Mercedes Moné vs. Alex Windsor

Whether it was legal or not, Alex Windsor got the TBS Champion, Mercedes Moné, to tap out two weeks ago in a tag match on AEW Dynamite. While Moné made excuses for why it happened, she also got personal with Windsor by bringing up her injured husband, Will Ospreay, and his unclear future.

Windsor has made it clear that she won’t stand for any jokes about a very serious situation, and she has vowed to tap out “Nine Belts Moné” again to take the TBS Championship when they meet for the first time in one-on-one action!

Can Windsor win her first AEW title less than two months after becoming All Elite? Or will the TBS Champion send Windsor on the Moné Train right to a hospital bed next to Ospreay like she promised?

All Star 8-Man Tag: AEW World Champion “Hangman” Adam Page, Kenny Omega & JetSpeed (Kevin Knight and “Speedball” Mike Bailey) vs. TNT Champion “The Protostar” Kyle Fletcher, Josh Alexander & the Young Bucks

The Don Callis Family made it clear they want the AEW World Championship, and last week on AEW Dynamite, they took aim at “Hangman” Adam Page by surrounding the ring with their impressive roster. Initially, Page got some help from Kevin Knight and “Speedball” Mike Bailey of JetSpeed, but a baton and the numbers game was too much – until Kenny Omega arrived on the scene! After clearing the ring, the former AEW World Tag Team Champions, Page and Omega, embraced to the delight of those in attendance at the 2300 Arena.

“The Walking Weapon” Josh Alexander won the falls in last week’s All Star 8-Man Tag on Dynamite, when the Don Callis Family took on JetSpeed and AEW World Tag Team Champions Brodido, and on AEW Collision, when he teamed with Fletcher to beat Kyle O’Reilly and Tomohiro Ishii. Alexander made it clear that he came to AEW to get his chance at Omega, and tonight, he has it.

Now, the battle lines have been drawn once again with Omega and Page tagging together for the first time since AEW All In London in 2023! Rivalries and championship aspirations all come together in this star-studded 8-Man Tag on Dynamite!
