AEW Grand Slam Mexico Tonight: Preview for June 18 in Mexico City

10-Man Tag Team Match: AEW World Champion Jon Moxley, Wheeler Yuta, The Beast Mortos & Young Bucks vs. Swerve Strickland, Will Ospreay & The Opps

Following an intense clash between Will Ospreay and Swerve Strickland at AEW Summer Blockbuster last week, the Death Riders and Young Bucks stormed the ring, once more igniting the ongoing war they’ve jointly inflicted upon AEW of late. However The Opps emerged to send their rivals retreating. Tonight, these 10 dynamic competitors collide, with LFI's The Beast Mortos joining forces with the Young Bucks and two members of the Death Riders, promising a chaotic and unpredictable battle in Arena México, as battle lines continue to be drawn ahead of AEW All In: Texas on July 12.

MJF vs. Místico

Self-proclaimed "American Hero" MJF has embraced his unique brand of patriotism, and tonight, he'll enter the sacred lucha libre grounds of Arena México to face a legend. Standing across the ring is none other than Místico, the iconic luchador and beloved Mexican hero. With national and individual pride at stake, expect a showdown that blends bravado, tradition, and spectacular in-ring action.

CMLL World Women’s Championship: Mercedes Moné vs. Zeuxis (c)

Mercedes Moné confidently laid down the gauntlet on both social media and Summer Blockbuster, and reigning champion Zeuxis swiftly accepted. Tonight, two of wrestling's premier competitors meet in a match that could change the title landscape of women's wrestling. With the prestigious CMLL World Women’s Championship on the line, will Moné add another world title to her collection, or will Zeuxis cement her legacy on her home turf?

Mark Briscoe vs. AEW Continental Champion Kazuchika Okada

The stakes couldn't be more personal tonight as Mark Briscoe seeks revenge against Kazuchika Okada. Following Okada’s ruthless attack on Kenny Omega, Briscoe—Omega’s longtime friend—steps up, determined to exact vengeance before Okada and Omega face off for the AEW Unified Title at All In: Texas. Arena México will witness a fierce and emotional clash as Briscoe promises to unleash fury upon the Continental Champion.

4 Million Pesos High-Flying 4-Way: Máscara Dorada vs. Ricochet vs. Hologram vs. Lio Rush

Four of professional wrestling’s most exhilarating high-flyers collide tonight with four million pesos up for grabs. Máscara Dorada, Ricochet, Hologram, and Lio Rush will dazzle the Arena México crowd, pushing their athleticism to the absolute limit. Only one competitor will soar highest and claim the lucrative prize.

12-Man Tag Team Match: TNT Champion Adam Cole, Brody King, Daniel Garcia, ROH World Champion Bandido, Templario & Atlantis Jr. vs. FTR, Kyle Fletcher, Konosuke Takeshita, Josh Alexander, Hechicero & Hechicero

Tonight’s colossal tag team showdown brings together some of AEW and CMLL’s finest in a 12-man collision of powerhouse alliances. TNT Champion Adam Cole leads a stacked squad—alongside Brody King, Daniel Garcia, ROH World Champion Bandido, Templario & Atlantis Jr.—as they face off against a fearsome unit featuring FTR (Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler) and the Don Callis Family’s Kyle Fletcher, Konosuke Takeshita, Josh Alexander plus Hechicero.

This match was announced following the Don Callis Family's momentum-building win over Paragon at Summer Blockbuster—a victory that capped a night of mayhem for all parties in Portland, with Cole coming to the aid of Atlantis Jr. and Sr. against FTR, before Cole in turn was saved from FTR and the Don Callis Family by Bandido and Templario. The dynamic mix of champions, luchadores and unbelievable stars promises explosive chaos, hard-hitting sequences, and unforgettable moments tonight in Mexico City!
