We recommend heading over to Sports Illustrated to read their thorough analysis of each of these awards – it'll be a nice trip down a recent memory lane, reliving some of the very best moments and wrestlers from AEW this year.

Indeed, 2025 has been a truly outstanding year for AEW, defined in many ways by Hangman and his allies' attempts to dethrone Jon Moxley and the Death Riders, Mercedes Moné's quest to win every championship belt she can lay her eyes on, Kris Statlander toppling "Timeless" Toni Storm to become the AEW Women's World Champion (and the first wrestler to have won both the Women's World Championship and the TBS Championship), the introduction of the AEW Women's World Tag Team Titles (which were claimed by The Babes of Wrath, Willow Nightingale and Harley Cameron), the 2025 Owen Hart Cup Tournament, the ongoing 2025 AEW Continental Classic, and so much more.

The best part? 2025 still isn't over! This weekend, AEW will be in New York City for Dynamite on 34th Street and Christmas Collision – and with MJF having made his surprise return this week in Manchester, there's no doubt that the heat is only going to escalate from here, even in the cold of winter. Plus, AEW brings the Worlds End pay-per-view to Chicago on Saturday, December 27, including a 4-Way AEW World Championship match featuring MJF, Swerve Strickland, Hangman and the champion, Samoa Joe.
