We’re back in Denver for AEW Collision TONIGHT at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT on TNT and streaming on HBO Max! After the Mile High Madness that was Dynamite, you can expect even more of the best wrestling on the planet on Collision!
We’ll hear from AEW World Champion MJF, who was clearly livid on Dynamite after his rigged coin was discovered and “Hangman” Adam Page got his stipulation, a Texas Death Match, made official for their AEW World Title showdown at AEW Revolution on March 15. What will MJF say tonight, knowing what now awaits him in 15 days?
We’ll also hear from the AEW Women’s World Champion, Thekla, ahead of her first defense next Wednesday on Dynamite in El Paso against former AEW Women’s World Champion Thunder Rosa. Thekla will likely be keeping a close eye on things when Thunder Rosa teams with Kris Statlander to face Sister of Sin, Julia Hart and Skye Blue.
The Don Callis Family will present ProtOkada as a team for the first time, as TNT Champion “The Protostar” Kyle Fletcher and AEW International Champion “The Rainmaker” Kazuchika Okada will bring their friendship to the ring to face Dante and Darius Martin of Top Flight. In fact, it’s a busy night for the Callis Family, with Andrade El Ídolo taking on The Conglomeration’s Tomohiro Ishii, and “Walking Weapon” Josh Alexander, Lance Archer, Rocky Romero and Trent Beretta battling the Death Riders’ PAC, Wheeler Yuta, Claudio Castagnoli and Daniel Garcia in a huge 8-man tag match!
Plus, “Timeless” Toni Storm will grace Denver with her in-ring presence against SkyFlight’s Zayda Steel. The Brawling Birds, Jamie Hayter and Alex Windsor, will be in action. And for a great throwback matchup, “Psycho Killer” Tommaso Ciampa is set for his return to Collision against Jay Lethal in the first meeting between the two since 2015.
It’s all going down tonight in Denver! Here’s your complete AEW Collision preview for February 28, 2026.
AEW Collision Matches, Preview for Saturday, February 28
We’ll Hear from AEW World Champion MJF!
The AEW World Champion was not happy that his plan to use a rigged quarter to get his stipulation was foiled on Dynamite. Now, it will be Maxwell Jacob Friedman versus “Hangman” Adam Page for the AEW World Championship in a Texas Death Match at Revolution on March 15. What will an irate MJF have to say tonight on Collision?
Tomohiro Ishii of The Conglomeration vs. Andrade El Ídolo of the Don Callis Family
This matchup is a perfect example of why AEW is where the best wrestle. Andrade El Ídolo clearly wants a showdown with ROH World Champion Bandido at Revolution after their confrontation on Dynamite. Tonight, though, he’ll face the Conglomeration’s Tomohiro Ishii for the first time ever! Can Andrade stay hot as he tries to work his way into AEW World Championship contention? Or will Ishii derail those plans?
We’ll Hear from AEW Women’s World Champion Thekla!
As she prepares to face Thunder Rosa in her first defense of the AEW Women’s World Championship this coming Wednesday on Dynamite in El Paso, Texas, we will hear from Thekla on Collision tonight! And you can bet she’ll be keeping a close eye on her opponent, who will be in tag team action against Sisters of Sin.
Tag Team Match: Thunder Rosa & Kris Statlander vs. Sisters of Sin (Julia Hart and Skye Blue)
Indeed, before Thunder Rosa gets her chance to regain the AEW Women’s World Championship against Thekla on Dynamite, she will team with former AEW Women’s World Champion Kris Statlander to take on Thekla’s Sisters of Sin from the Triangle of Madness, Julia Hart and Skye Blue! Statlander has continued to preach caution, but Thunder Rosa has no fear. This match is a chance to send one final message to Thekla before their showdown this Wednesday in El Paso!
ProtOkada (TNT Champion “The Protostar” Kyle Fletcher and AEW International Champion “The Rainmaker” Kazuchika Okada) of the Don Callis Family vs. Top Flight (Dante Martin and Darius Martin)
Despite being longtime members of the Don Callis Family, tonight will be the first time that TNT Champion “The Protostar” Kyle Fletcher and AEW International Champion “The Rainmaker” Kazuchika Okada come together as a tag team to form ProtOkada! These two friends get a unique test tonight from Top Flight in this clash of styles!
“Timeless” Toni Storm vs. Zayda Steel of SkyFlight
Denver will have the prestigious honor of hosting “Timeless“ Toni Storm’s return to singles action for the first time in nearly two months and her first match of any kind since House Rules in Brisbane, Australia! She’ll face SkyFlight’s Zayda Steel, who has run afoul of Storm’s rival, Marina Shafir, on multiple occasions, but refuses to back down. You're cordially invited to this Timeless presentation of professional wrestling!
8-Man Tag Match: Death Riders (CMLL World Heavyweight Champion Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta, Daniel Garcia and PAC) vs. Don Callis Family (“Walking Weapon” Josh Alexander, Lance Archer, Rocky Romero and Trent Beretta)
It’s another huge showdown between the Death Riders and Don Callis Family, and this time it comes in the form of an 8-man tag team match! Who will take the latest battle between the two sides?
“Psycho Killer” Tommaso Ciampa vs. Jay Lethal
As Tommaso Ciampa begins his journey back to his “Silvey,” aka the TNT Title, he’ll have to exorcise a ghost from his past. Jay Lethal defeated Ciampa to win the ROH World Television Championship nearly 12 years ago, and tonight will be the first time they’ll battle since Lethal successfully defended the title against Ciampa in April 2015. The beautiful world of professional wrestling history tends to bring rivals back together, which is why Ciampa versus Lethal will be one to watch in Denver!
Brawling Birds in Action!
Last week, the Brawling Birds, Jamie Hayter and Alex Windsor made quick, vicious work of their opponents in their Dynamite debut, but now they want more! The Birds are coming to Collision tonight looking for another fight!
