We’re bringing AEW Collision to Tucson, Arizona, for the first time tonight LIVE at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT on TNT and streaming on HBO Max!
We’re just eight days away from AEW Revolution in Los Angeles, but tonight’s Collision might put a detour in the road to Revolution! That’s because the AEW World Tag Team Titles will be on the line when FTR defend against The Rascalz! While Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler are scheduled to face the Young Bucks for the AEW World Tag Team Championship on March 15 at Revolution, Zachary Wentz and Dezmond Xavier get their shot tonight after beating FTR in an Eliminator Match just two weeks ago on Collision. Who will walk out of Tucson with the AEW World Tag Team Titles?
In a rematch from their 2025 Continental Classic draw, CMLL World Heavyweight Champion Claudio Castagnoli and NJPW World TV Champion “The Alpha” Konosuke Takeshita will step back in the ring tonight in the latest battle between the Death Riders and Don Callis Family. How will Takeshita handle such a stiff challenge with his AEW Continental Championship no time limit rematch against Jon Moxley looming next Sunday at Revolution?
And with his Revolution match with Brody King now official, Swerve Strickland has a chance to send a message to King in tonight’s match with Gravity, the brother of King’s tag team partner, ROH World Champion Bandido. Will Swerve take another opportunity to show why he’s “The Most Dangerous Man in AEW?”
Plus, we’ll see four teams battle for big money! The Outrunners, Private Party, LFI and The Swirl will fight it out in a $200K 4-Way! Who will cash in big with a lucrative win?
All that and more is coming your way tonight in Tucson! Here’s your complete AEW Collision preview for March 7, 2026.
AEW Collision Matches, Preview for Saturday, March 7
AEW World Tag Team Championship: FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) with Big Stoke (c) vs. The Rascalz (Zachary Wentz and Dezmond Xavier)
Can lightning strike twice for The Rascalz? After defeating FTR two weeks ago in an AEW World Tag Team Championship Eliminator, Zachary Wentz and Dezmond Xavier earned their shot at the AEW World Tag Team Titles.
While Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler have been embroiled in what’s become a very personal chapter in their rivalry with the Young Bucks ahead of their AEW World Tag Team Championship match at Revolution, they’ll have to focus on defending the titles against Wentz and Xavier tonight! The Rascalz had a wild first month in AEW, and now they have a chance to get to the top of a highly competitive tag team division. On X, Wentz said, “I’ve never needed something more. Time to win these titles!”
Can The Rascalz beat FTR for the second time in three weeks? Or will FTR reign supreme heading into Revolution next Sunday in Los Angeles?
CMLL World Heavyweight Champion Claudio Castagnoli of the Death Riders vs. NJPW World TV Champion “The Alpha” Konosuke Takeshita of the Don Callis Family
Konosuke Takeshita beat all but one wrestler in the Blue League of the 2025 Continental Classic en route to a record-setting 13 points. That man was Claudio Castagnoli, who wrestled Takeshita to a 20-minute draw on the Winter is Coming Collision back in December. Tonight, Castagnoli and Takeshita get another chance to mix it up with the intent of finding a definitive winner.
Takeshita won the NJPW World TV Title from El Phantasmo last week in New Jersey and is just eight days away from his no-time limit rematch with AEW Continental Champion Jon Moxley for the Continental Title at Revolution, which also stemmed from a 20-minute draw between the two at Grand Slam Australia.
Can Takeshita avenge the first of two draws against the Death Riders tonight, or will Castagnoli halt Takeshita’s momentum before he faces Moxley?
Swerve Strickland vs. Gravity
On Dynamite, Swerve Strickland sent a violent message to his Revolution opponent, Brody King, when he choked King out with a chain in an effort to prove he’s “The Most Dangerous Man in AEW.” Strickland will try to send another message tonight in Tucson when he faces Gravity, the brother of King’s partner, ROH World Champion Bandido!
$200K 4-Way Tag Match: The Outrunners (Turbo Floyd and Truth Magnum) vs. Private Party (Isiah Kassidy and Marq Quen) vs. LFI (RUSH and Dralístico) vs. The Swirl (Blake Christian and Lee Johnson)
Four of AEW’s hungriest teams will vie for a lucrative trip to the pay window tonight on Collision! On a night where the AEW World Tag Team Titles are also on the line, these four duos are out to steal the spotlight and bring home $200K! Who will come away with the win and a hefty payday?
