AEW Collision Preview

Tonight, AEW Collision comes your way from the Marshall Health Network Arena in Huntington, West Virginia, LIVE at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT on TNT and streaming on HBO Max!

The TNT Championship will be on the line when “The Protostar” Kyle Fletcher hosts an open challenge against the returning Komander. We saw Eddie Kingston and HOOK come together at AEW All Out after Kingston defeated Big Bill, and tonight, they tag for the first time against Bill and Bryan Keith in Kingston’s first Collision match since April 20, 2024.

Daniel Garcia won’t talk to Daddy Magic, so they’ll fight instead as part of a huge trios match! Garcia, Jon Moxley, and Claudio Castagnoli of the Death Riders will face Daddy Magic, Kyle O’Reilly, and Roderick Strong with Garcia and Daddy Magic on opposite sides for the first time ever!

Jamie Hayter threw out a challenge for Triangle of Madness to face her on Collision, and she’ll fight Julia Hart in the rubber match of a rivalry that began back in January. It’s Hayter vs. Hart 3! And thanks to AEW Coach Jerry Lynn, Max Caster and Anthony Bowens will begrudgingly team up to face Blake Christian and Lee Johnson of The Swirl. All that and more is coming your way tonight LIVE on Collision!

Here’s your complete AEW Collision preview for September 27, 2025.

AEW Collision Matches, Preview for Saturday, September 27

TNT Championship Open Challenge: “The Protostar” Kyle Fletcher (c) vs. Komander

After taking “Hangman” Adam Page to the brink last weekend at All Out in a match for the AEW World Championship, “The Protostar” Kyle Fletcher had no interest in waiting for his next opportunity. That’s why Fletcher called out the undefeated Hologram this past Wednesday on Dynamite, challenging him to a TNT Title vs. Streak match at the 6th Anniversary AEW Dynamite next week.

Before that, Fletcher will put his TNT Championship on the line against Hologram’s Titanes Del Aire teammate, Komander, tonight on Collision! And if Komander defeats Fletcher for the TNT Title, he will instead be the one to defend against Hologram next week on Dynamite.

Fletcher and Komander had a memorable one-on-one match last November in Philadelphia on Collision, although their rivalry goes back even further. It was Fletcher who pinned Komander to win the vacant ROH World TV Title in the 2023 Survival of the Fittest Final Six-Way Elimination Match at Final Battle 2023.

So who will defend the TNT Title against Hologram next week on Dynamite: The Protostar or the returning Komander? This championship showdown goes down tonight on Collision!

Trios Match: Death Riders (Jon Moxley, Daniel Garcia and Claudio Castagnoli) vs. Kyle O’Reilly, Roderick Strong & Daddy Magic

Ever since Daniel Garcia joined the Death Riders, he’s ignored all of Daddy Magic’s attempts to communicate with him. Now, they’ll be opponents for the first time ever when Garcia tags with Jon Moxley and Claudio Castagnoli to face Daddy Magic, Kyle O’Reilly and Roderick Strong in trios action.

When the match was announced, Daddy Magic responded with, “I have no words at the moment. I will see you all tomorrow [Saturday] night.”

Two weeks ago on Collision, Garcia and Moxley defeated Paragon, as they were the first former friends to step to Garcia. That continued this last weekend when Garcia beat a former mentor, Katsuyori Shibata, at AEW Tailgate Brawl. After both matches, Garcia completely blew off Daddy Magic’s face-to-face pleas.

Can Daddy Magic get through to Garcia or is he a lost cause? Will Moxley need to be on alert for Darby Allin? This trios match will be a hot one!

Tag Team Match: Eddie Kingston & HOOK vs. Big Bill & Bryan Keith

Following a 16-month absence from the ring, Eddie Kingston returned to AEW last weekend with a hard-fought victory against Big Bill at All Out. The big man didn’t take the loss lightly and went on the attack with Bryan Keith, until HOOK made the save for Kingston. Now, Kingston and HOOK will put their new partnership on display when they face Bill and Keith tonight in West Virginia!

After All Out, Kingston revealed that HOOK reached out to him last month and that the phone call lit a fire under him, bringing the two closer. Recently, HOOK alluded to possibly having new backup after parting ways with The Opps. Now, two of New York’s finest are on the same side, with Yonkers and Brooklyn coming together to form a real borough of violence.

Can Big Bill and Bryan Keith get some in-ring revenge after the result at All Out? How will Eddie Kingston and HOOK operate as a team? Lots of history will intersect in a tag team match that is sure to get low-down and violent.

Jamie Hayter vs. Julia Hart 3

Jamie Hayter wasn’t happy with Thekla’s efforts to keep her from the AEW Women’s World Championship during the 4-Way Title Match at All Out, so she threw out a challenge to the Triangle of Madness to face her on Collision. She’ll get her wish when she revisits an old rivalry with Julia Hart.

This will be the third meeting between Hayter and Hart, as they split a pair of physical singles matches back in January. However, with Thekla targeting Hayter from her debut, Hart’s been mixing it up with Hayter even more often as of late.

Tonight, we’ll see the rubber match!

Tag Team Match: Max Caster & Anthony Bowens vs. The Swirl (Blake Christian and Lee Johnson)

Two weeks ago on AEW Collision, Bowens and Caster wound up in a brawl following singles losses for both men earlier in the night. AEW Coach Jerry Lynn stopped the fight, and told both guys they were better together than apart.

The Swirl interrupted and said Lynn should have been paying closer attention to them. Then, Blake Christian and Lee Johnson hit the ring to attack Lynn and Caster – and after a brief moment of hesitation, Bowens ran back in to make the save, ultimately taking out The Swirl alongside Caster!

Lynn would then set up tonight’s match, much to the chagrin of Bowens and Caster, who have a chance to reunite for payback against the upstart Christian and Johnson despite their reservations.

Is Lynn right? Can Bowens and Caster find their old magic against a motivated pair in The Swirl? We’ll find out in this tag team matchup on Collision!
