CONTAINS SPOILERS

Tonight’s AEW COLLISION was broadcast on TNT from the Alliant Energy PowerHouse in Cedar Rapids, IA!

Tony Schiavone and Nigel McGuinness were the broadcast team for tonight’s event.

It’s Saturday night and you know what that means! This is for the Sickos!

Bang Bang Gang’s “Switchblade” Jay White (with Juice Robinson)

vs.

Shane Taylor Promotions’ Shane Taylor (with ROH Pure Wrestling Champion Lee Moriarty)!

Lee Moriarty grabbed White’s ankle as the ref was distracted. Taylor seized the opportunity to take down Jay White. Taylor stomped on the sternum on Jay White. Shane Taylor hit a leg drop on Switchblade.

“Shane Taylor knows how to use his size and bulk,” said Tony Schiavone.

Jay White rallied back with a flurry of offense. Jay White tried for a sunset flip; Taylor sat down for a splash, but Jay White tumbled out of the way in the nick of time. Jay White jabbed and chopped at Taylor in the corner. Jay White followed up with a dragon screw leg whip.

“Nasty!” said Nigel.

Jay White spiked Taylor with a DDT for a near fall. Taylor cracked White with a headbutt, followed up by a uranage for a near fall.

“So close but there’s a lot left in Jay White,” said Tony Schiavone.

Jay White planted Taylor with a flatliner. Jay White nailed Shane with a side suplex, finding his second wind. Moriarty jumped on the apron again, but this time Juice pulled him down! Taylor stunned Jay with a running knee strike. Taylor tweaked his knee in the process. Jay White scored with a Blade Runner and pinned Shane Taylor!

“He earned that one!” said Tony Schiavone.

Jay White: “I’ve known Shane Taylor for years and he hits a hell of a lot harder than I do. Hangman also hits a lot harder than I do but maybe that’s why I get under his skin so easily. Despite the year that you’ve had, Hangman, you’re still hellbent on coming after me. Is that because despite how tough and good Hangman is supposed to be, at every little bend of our careers, I’ve always been ahead of you, Hangman.

“You don’t have a leg to stand on, quite literally, Hangman. I hope you’re rehabbing that knee. Hangman, you best not miss, because one missed step with me will cost you just like you know oh so well. But this is the year of redemption. So I’m going to give you the change for redemption. Hangman versus Switchblade at Full Gear!”

Lexy Nair was backstage with Ricochet, asking him about the business card he received from MVP.

Lio Rush interrupted and said he received a business card too, so Lio doesn’t want Ricochet to think he’s special. Rush: “Don’t overlook me!”

Lexy Nair interviewed the Don Callis Family’s Kyle Fletcher after a commercial break!

Fletcher: “I’m here to talk about this Wednesday! I called out Will Ospreay and if he doesn’t show up, it’s because he’s scared of me because I’m the protostar. And I want to face someone so I can prove I’m not only the future, I’m the now.”

Penelope Ford vs. Robyn Renegade!

Penelope stomped a mudhole into Robyn in the corner turnbuckles. Penelope followed up with a handspring elbow strike. Penelope splashed Robyn with a standing moonsault for a near fall. Robyn rocked Ford with a face plant. Ford fired back with a stunner for a two-count!

Penelope knocked down Robyn with a running lariat and then grounded and pounded Renegade. Ford dropkicked Robyn in the back. Penelope applied the Muta lock and forced Robyn to tap out!

Jamie Hayter appeared on the big screen above the ramp!

Hayter: “Oy! November 6th, Dynamite, that’s your chance to step across the ring from me! The ball is in your court, baby. Will you be there, because you know I will be!”

Turbo body slammed Mansoor. Truth tagged in and the Outrunners body slammed Mason!

“It took two men!” said Nigel.

MxM fired back with a double team neck breaker on Truth, but Truth kicked out at the two-count. The Outrunners came back with Total Recall, their powerslam-neck breaker combo, and won the match!

AEW World Trios Champion Wheeler Yuta had a sit-down interview with Nigel McGuinness!

Wheeler: “I thought you of all people would understand. What’s the matter, Joker? Are you mad that we killed the Batman before you did? I gave him a warrior’s death. We took him out because he doesn’t have the stomach for this. The American Dragon you knew was long dead by the time I got into the ring at WrestleDream. We had to do it for the greater good.

“Do you think I take joy in any of the things I’m doing? No. But I do them because I have to. Where would I be without Moxley, Claudio, Pac, and Marina? We have no choice. We do what we have to do. And if we’re willing to do that to the people we love, what do you think we’re going to do to the people we don’t? We do it for the greater good.”

Ricochet vs. Lio Rush (with Top Flight)!

Lio was very aggressive at the start of the match with combination blows. Ricochet rocked Rush with a spinning boot into the side of the face. Ricochet planted a running elbow drop.

Ricochet stunned Lio with an area code kick. Ricochet followed up with a knee strike. Rush rocketed out of the ring with tremendous velocity, hitting a tope suicida on Ricochet.

Lio Rush grabbed a steel chair but before he could use it, Ricochet kicked it into Rush’s face! Ricochet cracked Rush with Ricochet’s version of the Hidden Blade and pinned Lio Rush!

“It’s how he beat Nick Wayne, it’s how he beat Lio Rush, but will it be how he beats Takeshita, if he gets to face Takeshita?” asked Nigel.

One week before she has a World Title shot against “The Glamour” Mariah May, Anna Jay used a double ax handle to the head and followed up with a shotgun dropkick to Viva Van.

Anna yanked Viva Van to the mat with an iconoclasm for a near fall. Anna blasted Viva Van with a back stabber. Anna Jay walloped Viva Van with the Widow’s Peak and picked up the pinfall victory!

“Anna Jay just defeated a top world star and now sets her sights on the AEW Women’s World Championship next week,” said Tony Schiavone.

Lexy Nair was backstage with The Conglomeration’s Tomohiro Ishii and Kyle O’Reilly!

Ishii had some strong words for ROH World Champion Chris Jericho. Kyle said Orange Cassidy was pissed at Jon Moxley and we’d hear from Orange himself next week.
