Here’s your full AEW Collision recap and complete results from a red-hot episode.
Claudio Castagnoli Advances to Fyter Fest
The night opened with a crucial AEW International Championship four-way qualifier as Claudio Castagnoli squared off against Komander. Reigniting their intense rivalry from the Continental Classic, Komander dazzled early with innovative aerial offense including a springboard tornado dive and spaceman plancha. As Tony Schiavone enthusiastically noted, "The things this young man can do are incredible!"
However, Castagnoli's power quickly shifted the momentum. He methodically targeted Komander, executing a giant swing that drew awe from the audience and a brutal series of backbreakers. Nigel McGuinness captured Castagnoli's dominance, remarking, "Such domination by Claudio—he remains stoic, calm, and methodical."
Despite Komander's resilience and several near-falls, Castagnoli ultimately secured the victory a picture-perfect Neutralizer. This impressive win earned Castagnoli a spot alongside Brody King and champion Kenny Omega in the International Championship match at Fyter Fest.
Will Ospreay and Swerve Strickland Not Seeing Eye-to-Eye
Backstage, tensions flared between Swerve Strickland and Will Ospreay as Renee Paquette attempted to get a word from Swerve about Hangman Adam Page. Swerve openly addressed his rocky relationship with Hangman, bluntly stating, "I owned up to it. I said I deserve what I did to Hangman over the past year and a half. That doesn't make us friends. We're not a team. We're not a squad. We never will be."
Will Ospreay quickly interjected, passionately challenging Swerve's logic. "Who's the bigger threat, the Death Riders or Hangman? The only reason you were beefing with Hangman is because you wanted those opportunities. You wanted to be the first-ever Black World Champion. You held that thing with pride. If you're happy that it's in a briefcase, I'm not. That belt should be around the best wrestler in the world right now—and it's Hangman."
Unfazed, Swerve fired back, underscoring his victories over Hangman. "I beat Hangman twice now.” “Have you beaten Moxley?” Ospreay immediately retorted. “Have you beaten me? Truth hurts, doesn't it?” Swerve snapped back, then continued, “This whole little team, this squad you're trying to get together—I did that already. Anarchy. I'm done with it."
Ospreay refused to back down, as the two men came to blows before being separated by security.
Don Callis Family Outlasts Paragon and Ishii
The simmering rivalry between the Don Callis Family and Paragon exploded in a high-stakes trios match. RPG Vice (Rocky Romero and Trent Beretta) teamed with Konosuke Takeshita, accompanied by Don Callis, against Paragon’s Roderick Strong and Kyle O'Reilly, alongside the fearsome Tomohiro Ishii.
Romero and Ishii's tense history quickly became apparent, with Romero aggressively targeting Ishii early, using strikes and submission attempts. The match spilled outside, highlighted by Beretta executing a diving spear and Takeshita delivering punishing strikes.
Amid the chaos, referee Bryce Remsburg was accidentally incapacitated, allowing Romero to utilize underhanded tactics against Ishii -- literally, as he hit the Stone Pitbull with a low blow. Takeshita followed up with his Raging Fire Michinoku driver for the win, as Don Callis snidely commented, "That's just beautiful."
Kazuchika Okada Defeats Anthony Bowens in Continental Title Eliminator
AEW Continental Champion Kazuchika Okada faced Anthony Bowens in a dramatic eliminator bout. Bowens, motivated after a singles loss to Ricochet, unleashed aggressive strikes including a neckbreaker and a Mollywhop attempt, nearly pinning Okada multiple times. Tony Schiavone highlighted Bowens' determination, stating, "Bowens is so close, and he knows it!"
However, Okada’s veteran instincts and precision proved decisive. Okada made Bowens pay for meeting him on the outside by planting the Pride of Professional Wrestling with a DDT on the floor, and later impaled Bowens with a big elbow drop off the top. Bowens temporarily turned the tide when he caught Okada in a scissor, even evading one of the legend's iconic dropkicks.
It seemed as if Bowens might be on the verge of earning an AEW Continential Title opportunity after he beat Okada down with repeated elbows to the back of head then leveled him with a side kick. But Okada ultimately secured the victory when he countered a Mollwhop with that beautiful dropkick and followed it with his patented Rainmaker for the win.
FTR Confronted by Atlantis Jr. and Templario
Tag team champions FTR boldly challenged any lucha team, prompting Atlantis Jr. and Templario to answer.
The tension escalated quickly, as Dax Harwood provocatively mocked Atlantis Jr. and Templario, disrespectfully referring to their lucha libre heritage as "Mighty Morphin Power Ranger masks" and openly taunting Atlantis Jr.'s legendary father. "Tell your father to keep his old ass at home and not mess with FTR," Harwood brazenly stated.
Infuriated by this blatant disrespect, Atlantis Jr. responded passionately: "My father is not here to defend himself, but I am. If you want to say something, say it to me!" FTR's sarcastic attempt to diffuse the situation unsurprisingly proved ineffective, and an intense physical altercation ensued. Atlantis Jr. and Templario ultimately gained the upper hand, delivering an emphatic elevated double dropkick that left FTR reeling.
Atlantis Jr. concluded decisively, "We will see you very soon," dramatically raising anticipation for their upcoming showdown at Fyter Fest.
Skye Blue’s Effort Overshadowed by Chaos
In a spirited encounter, Skye Blue battled Mina Shirakawa. Early in the match, Skye displayed aggressive offense, including impactful forearms, a handspring forearm smash in the corner, and several crisp suplexes, consistently keeping Shirakawa on the defensive. Nigel McGuinness noted her resilience, saying, "Skye Blue is fighting like she has something to prove tonight!"
Despite Skye's strong effort, Shirakawa gradually gained control and executed a Glamour Driver to secure the three-count victory. Post-match, chaos erupted unexpectedly as Julia Hart stormed the ring, viciously attacking Shirakawa from behind. AEW Women’s World Champion Toni Storm quickly rushed to the ring, forcefully intervening and attacking Hart to restore order.
Gates of Agony Showcase Dominance
The formidable Gates of Agony (Bishop Kaun and Toa Liona) made quick work of local wrestlers Cosmo Orion and GMO Kaminari.
Demonstrating dominance and efficiency, Kaun executed a powerful backbreaker and running suplex, while Liona impressed with a devastating shotgun dropkick and corner assaults. Tony Schiavone noted the "brutal efficiency" of their offense.
They swiftly secured victory with a destructive rendition of "Open the Gates," further cementing their fearsome reputation.
The Best Signature Collector Alive
We briefly saw Max Caster backstage at a meet and greet with fans (alongside Mark Sterling), where Caster insisted that fans sign a petition declaring him the best wrestler alive before he'd start handing out autographs.
And, unsurprisingly, as soon as Caster had those signatures in hand, he sprinted out of the room and down the hallway. Oh, Max.
La Facción Ingobernable Prevails in Action-Packed Trios Bout
La Facción Ingobernable (RUSH, Dralístico, and The Beast Mortos) battled the dynamic trio of Top Flight (Darius and Dante Martin) and AR Fox in a breathtaking contest. The match began chaotically as Rush immediately established dominance, aggressively targeting AR Fox with brutal chops and intense corner attacks. As commentator Nigel McGuinness emphasized, "RUSH is absolutely fearsome."
Fox and Top Flight countered with their signature aerial maneuvers, showcasing spectacular dives, assisted cutters, and a rapid sequence of agile double-team combinations, drawing cheers from the crowd. Despite their impressive offense and resilience, LFI maintained control with relentless aggression.
Ultimately, RUSH's overwhelming physicality proved decisive. He punctuated the match with fierce corner strikes and a shotgun dropkick in the corner on Darius Martin, securing the pinfall victory for La Facción Ingobernable.
After the match, LFI continued the beatdown on Top Flight, only for Speedball Bailey and Komander to rush out and chase off RUSH & Co.
Mark Briscoe Challenges AEW World Champion Jon Moxley
Wednesday night on Dynamite in six-man tag team action, Briscoe took an L. Jon Moxley caught him in the bulldog choke and the ref called for the bell. Ding, ding, ding. It happens, Briscoe said. But on Thursday, his 5-year-old son asked him, "Daddy, did you quit last night?" Briscoe replied that he would never quit. You win some and you lose some in life, but you never quit.
But the predicament that Briscoe is in now is that his kids are doubting him, so he wants Mox one-on-one in Denver at Fyter Fest. This isn't about the title Mox has. It's about something bigger than that to Briscoe. So he's going to have his wife line the kids up in front of the TV and watch him whoop a man's ass. Mox better be ready to man up.
Mascara Dorada Qualifies in Spectacular Main Event
Mascara Dorada faced Hechicero in the thrilling final AEW International Championship 4-Way qualifier. Dorada immediately showcased his remarkable agility and creativity, performing dynamic moves including a breathtaking springboard tornado dive, innovative head-scissor takedown, and an impressive high-angle crossbody from the top rope to the outside.
Hechicero responded with precise technical wrestling, methodically targeting Dorada's limbs with strategic submissions and demonstrating his ring intelligence with counters and grounded offense, including a punishing surfboard stretch.
Tony Schiavone marveled at Dorada's offense, stating, "The creativity and athleticism of Dorada is just incredible!" Ultimately, Dorada's relentless aerial attack overwhelmed Hechicero. Mascara Dorada secured the victory with a Shooting Star Press from the top rope, earning him the final spot in the AEW International Championship four-way match at Fyter Fest, joining Claudio Castagnoli, Brody King, and the champion Kenny Omega.
