AEW Dynamite Preview

AEW Dynamite is LIVE TONIGHT at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT on TBS and streaming on HBO Max from Fresno, California, coming off of one of the most memorable nights in AEW history at AEW Revolution!

Gabe Kidd stormed into the post-show media scrum and demanded another shot at Darby Allin after The Dogs lost to Allin, Orange Cassidy and Roderick Strong at Revolution. Kidd doesn't want anyone at ringside from either side as tonight, Kidd and Allin will go to even deeper, darker depths in a Coffin Match!

“Timeless” Toni Storm came away with a long-sought-after win over Marina Shafir at Revolution, only to be summoned back to the ring by Ronda Rousey. Shafir knocked out Storm with a cheap shot amid the wild scene and then left with Rousey – so Storm and Shafir will fight again tonight, only this time, it'll be a NO HOLDS BARRED match!

Plus, Will Ospreay will be in action for the first time since last August.  After his captivating return to target AEW Continental Champion Jon Moxley and the Death Riders at Revolution, Ospreay is fully cleared from double neck fusion surgery and looks better than ever! We’ll see his anticipated return to the ring tonight in Fresno against Blake Christian!

All that and more is coming your way from Fresno! Here’s your complete AEW Dynamite preview for March 18, 2026.

AEW Dynamite Matches, Preview for Fresno

Coffin Match: Darby Allin vs. “War Ready” Gabe Kidd of The Dogs

Allin and Kidd went to battle once again at Revolution, with Allin’s team, which included Orange Cassidy and Roderick Strong, coming out on top of The Dogs.

Allin took Kidd out of the match when he zip-tied him under the stage and ramp area, leaving him rendered useless as Clark Connors was pinned in the ring. An incensed Kidd crashed the post-show press scrum and launched into a profanity-laced tirade in front of Tony Khan, demanding a Coffin Match on Dynamite!

Tonight, Kidd gets his wish. So will he have Allin pushing up daisies, or is he walking right into Allin’s playground of pain?

No Holds Barred: “Timeless” Toni Storm vs. Marina Shafir of the Death Riders

Revolution brought Storm a hard-fought victory over Shafir, but Storm’s win was followed by the appearance of Ronda Rousey! Rousey invited Storm back to the ring, and she accepted the invitation with a wry smile and a march down the aisle. However, they barely had a chance to face off before a host of referees and security got between them.

During the chaos, Shafir knocked Storm out with a cheap shot and left through the crowd with Rousey! As a result, Storm and Shafir will run it back, only this time in a NO HOLDS BARRED match!

Will Ospreay vs. Blake Christian of The Swirl

We saw the triumphant and surprising return of Ospreay on Sunday at Revolution when he hit the ring to exact some revenge on AEW Continental Champion Jon Moxley and the Death Riders for putting him out of commission back in August.

With Ospreay back and healed in astonishing time, he's ready to get back to what he does best, so tonight, he’ll take on the rising Blake Christian of The Swirl. For the first time in seven months, Ospreay returns to action on Dynamite!
