**CONTAINS SPOILERS**

Jim Ross, Tony Schiavone, and Excalibur were the broadcast team for tonight’s event.

It was a slobber knocker of an opening to tonight’s show, noted Jim Ross with…

“Mad King” Eddie Kingston vs. “The MurderHawk Monster” Lance Archer (accompanied by Jake “The Snake” Roberts!

“This has been a long time coming in my estimation, fellas,” said Jim Ross.

“Yeah, September 5th, 2020, that was the date of ALL OUT last year,” replied Excalibur.

Before making their way down the ramp to the ring, Lance Archer sent Jake Roberts to the back, opting instead to go at this one alone. Roberts was dejected by Archer’s orders.

Kingston charged Archer as “The MurderHawk Monster” entered the ring, greeting him with hard chops. Archer laughed it off and then removed his shirt, balled it up, and threw it at Kingston’s face. Archer told Kingston to chop him again, and Kingston gave him his best shot. Archer sent Kingston halfway across the ring with a big boot! Archer followed up with big running back elbows to Kingston, who was backed into the turnbuckles. Kingston dodged a third attempt from Archer and countered with kicks to Archer’s left knee, trying to chop the big oak tree down! Kingston bit Archer!

“Kingston doing everything in his power to level the playing field against the much bigger Lance Archer,” noted Excalibur.

“So far Archer is staying vertical here,” replied Tony Schiavone.

Archer weather the storm of Kingston’s chops and then knocked the “Mad King” down with a big pounce. Archer lifted Kingston and choke slammed him over the top rope and down onto the ring apron!

“That had to break his back!” said Tony Schiavone.

Archer moved to the outside and began stalking Kingston, ramming him into the TV camera, and then into the steel barricade. Archer used a full nelson slam on Kingston, then splashed him. He lifted Kingston up before the ref counted to three.

“Archer’s not done. He wants to relish the situation,” said Excalibur.

Kingston attempted a spinning backfist but Archer caught it! Kingston connected with a basement dropkick and finally got Archer off his feet. Archer got up and hit a lariat on Kingston. “The MurderHawk Monster” used a ripcord into a chokeslam on Kingston, and then smirked. Archer grabbed Kingston’s wrist, walked the top rope, and then blasted Kingston with a moonsault press. Archer didn’t go for the cover. Archer palmed Kingston’s skull with a claw, but was distracted when The Butcher and The Blade walked onto the ramp clutching Jake Roberts. As Archer left the ring to come to the aid of Roberts, The Bunny jumped over the guardrail. She snuck up to Kingston in the ring and handed him a knuckle duster. Archer returned his attention to Kingston but Kingston was waiting and nailed him with a spinning backfist and that knuckle duster! Kingston pulled out the victory thanks to the loaded hand!

“Eddie Kingston had a lot of help,” said Jim Ross.

“J.R., I think that’s the understatement of the year. Eddie Kingston could not have beaten Lance Archer without the help of The Butcher, The Blade, and The Bunny,” replied Excalibur.

Butcher and Blade added insult to injury with their tag team finisher “drag the lake” on Archer! They help up Archer and Kingston hit a second backfist!

Up next was Jon Moxley who was standing outside near a fence!

“Always drama with these Elite guys. It’s like an episode of The Young & The Restless over there. And then you have the Lucha Brothers and PAC, this Death Triangle—they don’t like The Young Bucks or The Good Brothers, they certainly don’t like me ‘cause they’re friends with Eddie Kingston. Now they’re not friends with Eddie Kingston anymore and they’re my partners on February 3rd at Beach Break? OK, see I’m a simple guy. I like my beer cold, my coffee hot, my water at room temperature. I like to have sex in the morning ‘cause it’s a good way to start the day. And in a business where the only person you can trust is number one, I don’t overcomplicate things: I trust my right hand and my left hand. That all being said, I love a good six-man tag, so PAC, Rey Fenix, saddle up, this is fun. Gang warfare! Cool. I do not know what’s going to happen February 3rd at Beach Break but it’s gonna be wild on DYNAMITE!

Next week on DYNAMITE at Beach Break it’s AEW World Champion Kenny Omega & Impact Wrestling Tag Team Champions—The Good Brothers (with Don Callis) vs. Jon Moxley, PAC, and Rey Fenix!

TNT Champion Darby Allin and Sting addressed their upcoming street fight against Team Taz’s “Absolute” Ricky Starks and FTW World Champion “The Machine” Brian Cage, which is set for AEW Revolution, live on pay-per-view on Sunday, March 7th, at 8pm EST!

“Let’s just get on a first name basis right now. Taz, Brian, Ricky, since we’re gonna be married in a street fight at Revolution, and since you feel free to throw out all sorts of false accusations towards Darby and myself, I want to tell you my feelings are hurt by that. You called us ‘hoodlums.’ OK Darby, he is a hoodlum. Darby, you are a hoodlum,” said Sting.

“You see in the streets, it doesn’t matter if you play clean or dirty. It’s all about survival,” said Darby as he threw his skateboard through a window of the warehouse they were in.

“I am a hoodlum. No different than you Sting.”

Sting took his baseball bat and swung it at more windows, shattering them with each hit.

“I am a hoodlum. At Revolution in the street fight, it’s gonna be showtime,” said Sting.

The next match was “Demo God” Chris Jericho (with Santana, Ortiz, Sammy Guevara and Jake Hager) & MJF (with Wardlow) vs. Varsity Blonds—Griff Garrison & Brian Pillman, Jr.!

Garrison didn’t waste any time taking the fight to MJF, dropping a flurry of right hands on him! MJF rolled out of the ring and tried to carry a chair back in with him, but the Inner Circle restrained him. Jericho tagged in and Garrison caught him with a drop toehold. He tagged in Pillman who surprised Jericho with a swinging neck breaker!

Jericho sent Pillman into the ropes and MJF lifted his knee into Pillman’s lower back while ref Aubrey Edwards was distracted. MJF tagged in and worked over Pillman’s ankle. Jericho tagged back in and hoisted Pillman to the top rope. Pillman knocked Jericho back to the mat and hit a flying cross body block!

“Flyin’ Brian, just like his father,” said Tony Schiavone.

Garrison and MJF both tagged back in and Garrison cleaned house with consecutive clotheslines, flying splashes, and then a double spear for a near fall on MJF! Pillman tagged in and blasted MJF with a missile dropkick, and then a thrust kick to Jericho for a two-count!

“We were on the verge of an upset,” said Excalibur.

Jericho and Pillman exchanged right elbow strikes. Pillman dropkicked Jericho to the outside of the ring. Pillman went for a springboard but Jericho met him on the mat with the Judas Effect elbow! Jericho followed up with a picture perfect lionsault and pinned Brian Pillman, Jr.!

“Jericho and MJF notching to 2-0 in the tag team division here in AEW,” noted Excalibur.

PAC had some choice words for Kenny Omega and The Good Brothers: “Everyone saw what you did to Penta El Zero Miedo last week. So Kenny Omega—next week at Beach Break you bring your good brothers because me and Rey Fenix—we are gonna exemplify the true meaning of brotherhood. You hurt us, we hurt you back. Next week you face the consequences!”

A clip was played from earlier tonight from the AEW DYNAMITE Awards, where Shaq called out “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes:

“Cody Rhodes, you little punk. You want a battle? You just name a time and a day. I’ll be there. You little punk with your blonde hair—you look like a little girl. You want some of the Shaq attack? Name the place. As a matter of fact, let’s do it in March. How about that?”

Tony Schiavone was in the ring with “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes (and “The Enforcer” Arn Anderson) so Cody could respond to Shaq’s comments:

“To respond to Shaq, to respond to Jade, I’d rather just give you the pitch: the classic ‘sell it’ promo and say ‘March 7th, at Revolution, it would be myself and my beautiful bride Brandi Rhodes against Jade and Shaq.’ But life happens and, I can’t say that ‘cause I’m having a baby. Brandi’s having a baby. In these moments when I am rather distracted, I defer to the coach Arn Anderson. I know he spoke to Tony Khan about where I fit on Revolution and in this moment, I give it to you Arn. You tell me.”

Arn Anderson: “I’m gonna earn my money tonight because I’m probably gonna contradict myself a couple of times, so be patient with me, ok? The fact of the matter is, you’re about to be a dad. And that is on the forefront of your mind, as well it should be. It’s the most important thing in your life. But I just one to give you one way of making thinking a little differently. June 29th, 1985, does that date have any meaning for you whatsoever?”

Cody shook his head no.

Arn Anderson: “Well let me clear it up for everybody. I saw your dad at the L.A. Forum crawl in the ring with Tully Blanchard, fight 30 minutes, jump on a private plane, and fly across country and guess what he got there in time to see? The birth of his baby boy Cody Rhodes. Now if you choose March the 7th to jump in this revolutionary, incredible show, that is gonna go down that night, you should do it with your eyes wide open and no regrets. Let me just point out the obvious: you got a lot of time between the birthdate and that show. This match is once in a lifetime. For 19 years Shaq dominated his sport. Every single night he went out on that court he proved he was a world class athlete. Now Jade, I’m pretty sure every time she walks into a room, she dominates the entire area. But I’ve seen something the past two weeks and it can’t be measured, I don’t even know if it’s rational to try to put a name on it. But I’d like for you to see something while you’re pondering your future.”

Arn Anderson called down Red Velvet to the ring, and she glanced at Cody, and Cody returned the look.

“You see what I’m talking about? Fire! She’s got it. You’ve got it,” said Anderson.

Red Velvet: “I’m out here tonight because quite frankly, I’m fed up. I’m tired of getting attacked. I’m tired of watching Brandi get disrespected by that big mouth coward who knows damn well that Brandi can’t defend herself. But I will. Because I’m Red Velvet and I’m about to stir your bitch-ass up!”

Tony Schiavone: “It sounds like to me—Jade, Shaquille, the ball is in your court.”

Don’t forget! Next week at Beach Break—The Wedding of Penelope Ford & Kip Sabian!

Up Next: “Hangman” Adam Page vs. “The Hollywood Hunk” Ryan Nemeth in his AEW debut)!

Nemeth immediately shot for a single leg takedown on Page. “Hangman” wrenched Ryan’s arm, but “The Hollywood Hunk” reversed it. Page, with the size advantage, took down Nemeth with a shoulder tackle. Nemeth went for a leap frog but Page booted him square in the teeth! Page put the boots to Nemeth in the corner. Page followed up with a pescado to the outside on Ryan Nemeth.

“Big Money” Matt Hardy walked out to the ring in his business attire, scouting someone in the match.

Nemeth drove his knees into the body of Adam Page and followed up with a rude awakening-style neck breaker for a near fall! Page got up and rocked Nemeth with several explosive lariats. Page punctuated that sentence with a spine buster!

“Matt Hardy liking what he sees,” said Excalibur.

“It’s obvious that his eyes are strictly on the ‘Hangman.’”

Page used a sliding lariat for a two-count. Nemeth spiked Page with a DDT for a near fall!

“That’s a hell of a move, guys,” said Schiavone.

Nemeth attempted a German suplex on Page, but Page landed on his feet! He followed up with the discus. Page finished Nemeth with the buckshot lariat and then scored the pin!

Matt Hardy applauded Page and began to leave, but Page called him back. Tony Schiavone headed to the ring with a microphone for answers.

Matt Hardy: “I didn’t want to create any kind of scene. The reason I came out here tonight Adam, was to be in your corner and let you know that I support you. I’ve been watching you the last couple of months and I’m gonna be honest, I’ve been concerned.

“You seem lost and conflicted. And that’s understandable because I was with you at the Stadium Stampede and I know how much you had for The Young Bucks and Kenny Omega. And those three men burnt you. And you didn’t deserve that. And almost every single day, the Dark Order, they’re asking you to join. And it’s just awkward. And you’ve become even more conflicted. I don’t want anything from you, Adam. But I want you to know you’re a good person and you deserve to be happy. I needed to say that and you needed to hear it.”

Dax Harwood of FTR (the #1 ranked tag team in AEW) vs. Jungle Boy (with Marko Stunt) of Jurassic Express (the #2 ranked tag team in AEW)!

Tully Blanchard and Cash Wheeler were handcuffed to Luchasaurus for this match! Marko Stunt was sent to the back before the match began.

Dax “The Ax” and Jungle Boy locked up, with Dax muscling Jungle Boy into the corner. Jungle Boy used his explosivity to take down Dax. And then Dax used a side headlock takeover and we were off to a fast start to this match. Dax knocked Jungle Boy down with a shoulder tackle, and then another. Jungle Boy caught him with a dropkick, and then he looked for the snare trap submission. Tully and Cash couldn’t help as Luchasaurus pulled them back down to their chairs.

Jungle Boy connected with a back elbow and then a front elbow to Dax. Jungle Boy climbed to the top rope but Dax knocked him down. Dax climbed up and planted him with a back suplex off the top rope. Dax hurt his shoulder and arm on the way down as it landed underneath Jungle Boy’s body. Harwood drove the sole of his boot into Jungle Boy’s head repeatedly. Jungle Boy fired back with hard shots and European uppercut combinations and then he caught Dax with a superkick. Dax leveled Jungle Boy with a lariat!

The crowd chanted “This is awesome!”

Jungle Boy reversed a powerbomb for a near fall on Dax. He tried again and after setting up a slingshot, Dax planted Jungle Boy with the Liger Bomb! Jungle Boy kicked out at 2.99!

Dax attempted a dragon suplex but the damage to his arm from earlier was too much. Jungle Boy escaped and devastated Dax with a backstabber! Jungle Boy followed up with two German suplexes until Dax finally grabbed the ropes and used a mule kick for some separation. Jungle Boy returned fire with a clothesline. After faking out Jungle Boy, Dax spiked Jungle Boy with a DDT! Again Jungle Boy withstood the storm of Dax Harwood, kicking out just in the nick of time!

After a series of reversals, Jungle Boy locked on the snare trap submission hold!

“There it is. The difference maker!” said Jim Ross.

Cash Wheeler and Tully Blanchard tried to reach for Dax but Luchasaurus held them back. Dax had no choice but to tap out to the snare trap!

“The biggest victory in the singles career of Jungle Boy,” noted Jim Ross.

Outside the ring, Cash distracted Luchasaurus and then Tully blinded him with powder. While he couldn’t see a thing, Cash rammed Luchasaurus’ head right into the ring post! With the handcuffs unlocked, Cash jumped into the ring and grounded and pounded Jungle Boy! FTR held up Jungle Boy and pancaked him with a slingshot suplex, right out of the Tully Blanchard playbook. FTR hoisted up Luchasaurus and Tully jumped off the turnbuckles for extra impact as they spiked the big dino on his skull!

“They have wiped out Jurassic Express,” said Tony Schiavone.

FTR shackled Luchasaurus to the top rope and then they used scissors to cut off his horns. Next they went to cut the hair of Jungle Boy but Marko Stunt, SCU and Top Flight ran down to ward off FTR!

Team Taz went outside of the arena and attacked the staff at the AEW merch stand. (Head to ShopAEW.com for all your merch needs!)

Taz looked into the camera and said, “First name basis, huh, brothers? Ricky Starks and Brian Cage are gonna beat that ass at that street fight!”

Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. (with “Rebel not Reba”) vs. Shanna (On a 5-Match Singles Winning Streak) was next!

Shanna reversed a wristlock and then escaped a side headlock. Shanna used a drop toehold but Britt charged back in and pushed Shanna to the turnbuckles. Britt rolled through into a hammerlock. Shanna rocked Baker with a step-up enziguri! Shanna tried for a dropkick but Reba pulled Baker out of the way. Baker rammed Shanna’s back into the ring apron! She followed up with a sling blade on the outside of the ring!

Shanna clotheslined Britt Baker for a near fall, catching her across the face. Britt transitioned into a crucifix and then connected with a thrust kick. She used a snap swinging neck breaker but Shanna kicked out! Baker had the glove applied by Reba and went for the lockjaw but Shanna countered with a leaping stunner! Shanna got a head of steam and rocked Baker with a running dropkick. She was about to go for the Tiger Driver but Baker countered, transitioning into the lockjaw in the center of the ring and forcing Shanna to tap!

After the match ended, Baker applied the lockjaw a second time until Thunder Rosa ran out for the save! They will meet next week at Beach Break!

MJF met Sammy Guevara backstage.

MJF said he docked Wardlow’s pay for getting involved in last week’s match. Sammy said he saw through MJF.

“Sammy, you sure you want to play it this way?” asked MJF.

“I’m not playing,” replied Sammy, as MJF stormed off.

Time for the main event!

AEW World Tag Team Champions The Young Bucks—Nick & Matt Jackson and Impact Wrestling Tag Team Champions The Good Brothers—Karl Anderson & Doc Gallows vs. Dark Order’s Evil Uno, Stu Grayson, John Silver & Alex Reynolds!

Backstage, while Dasha was interviewing the Bucks and the Good Brothers, Kenny Omega walked in with Don Callis, who had his eye bandaged. The Bucks called out Callis’ “injury” but before things got out of hand, Matt and Nick’s music hit. They had to leave for the match.

Evil Uno hit Karl Anderson with a Manhattan drop for a near fall. John Silver called out Doc Gallows and Gallows took his time stepping over the top rope and entering the ring. Doc Gallows dropped to his knees, mocking John Silver. Anderson hit Silver from behind as Silver ran into the ropes. Silver thought it was Nick Jackson who did it and he clocked Nick! Matt Jackson tagged in and hammered the spine of John Silver. Alex Reynolds tagged in and caught Matt by surprise with a beautiful sequence of offensive moves. Nick tagged in and he and Matt used their tandem offense to get the upper hand on Alex Reynolds. The Bucks and The Good Brothers worked as a cohesive unit bringing the attack to Reynolds.

Dark Order was neutralized on the outside while Grayson was isolated on the inside of the ring and surrounded by the opposing team like a pack of wolves. Grayson was invited to a superkick party and was hit by the Bucks and Good Brothers with quadruple superkicks! Evil Uno broke up the pin!

The Good Brothers dropped Uno with the Magic Killer! The Young Bucks planted Grayson with the Meltzer driver, more than enough for Matt to pin him! After the match, while the Bucks and The Good Brothers were celebrating, Rey Fenix sprinted out with a dropkick off the top rope directly at the Bucks! The Good Brothers took the boots to Rey Fenix! They tried for the Magic Killer on Rey Fenix but he escaped. Jon Moxley ran into the ring out of nowhere and clotheslined Gallows to the outside! Rey Fenix took out the Good Brothers with a jumping con hiro! Kenny Omega ran down the ramp, and just as he was about to hit Mox with the point of his boot, Mox impaled him with the paradigm shift!
